Hi guys, I'm still alive! :,D
Posted 15 years agoI've just been like... ridiculously busy with other things. I did pick up WoW again but the last couple days I haven't even be playing that. >< The insomnia is getting really, really bad- I need to get myself some melatonin. In the meantime that's part of why I haven't been drawing- if I get a spare moment when I actually feel tired I won't do ANYTHING so that I can (hopefully) catch a few minutes of rest. I'm pretty sure that's all that's keeping me going at this point. :,D Though I did manage two whole hours today!
School workload sucks still on top of everything. >.> I have no idea how I'm not failing, but I'm not gunna question it....
Anyway, hopefully I can get some new art up sometime soon. D: I hate not drawing.

Day One:
1. Sometimes I lie awake at night wishing I was there with you right that second, and it always kills me that I'm not.
2. Grow the hell up, would you? You have no idea how much you irritate me sometimes.
3. Keep doing what you're doing... you're going to go far. I hope we're still talking far enough into the future that I see what you make of yourself.
4. So all of a sudden you're too good to reply to me because you have a lame-ass job you always complain about? Classy.
5. I never liked you. Go away.
6. I missed you the most out of everyone when I lost contact with you guys. I promise I won't disappear again- y'all are like my safety net.
7. Stop acting like I'm some stupid, helpless kid. I'm not 8 anymore. You need to give me some credit.
8. You're running your life into the ground, I hope you know that. The saddest part is that after all the shit you've put me through I'm going to sit back and watch you burn.

Day Two:
1. I can literally listen to the same song for 4+ hours straight if it's the inspiration for something that I'm drawing.
2. I treat my cat like he is some kind of human royalty. This is why he owns our house.
3. If I could make it work, my entire day would revolve around naps, hot showers, and my laptop for both art and vidya games.
4. 19th century British anything is so a fetish.
5. I'm ridiculously picky about what I read and what I watch.
6. I'm extremely fickle.
7. I'm desensitized to waaaaaayy too much stuff.
8. I really want to do stuff with my life, but on the adverse I'm also one of the laziest people you will ever meet.
9. Good luck making sense of a single joke I crack- I think things are hilarious that most people scratch their heads at. :B
Day Three:
1. Don't take everything seriously all the time.
2. Be truthful to me.
3. Be loyal to me.
4. Show me a little affection and let me know you care.
5. A little bit of good ol' fashioned romancing is pretty nice, too~
6. Don't judge me for the things I say, like, and do.
7. Accept me, despite all the problems I do have.
8. Share some things I like to talk about, but have your own interests too so we have something to nitpick one another about. :B

Day Five:
1. Dating that nutjob Kelsey for as long as I did... in fact, dating her at all, since she was a liar from the beginning anyway.
2. Letting my 6th grade teacher make me hate math. I used to love it and used to be good at it, and then her constant berating of me and everyone else in the class made me hate it and I stopped trying. Now I'm too far behind to catch up.
3. Compromising and letting my brother leave his computer in my bedroom because of the location of the cable lines. It's like a (very smelly) hurricane whipped through it and I never have access to it.
4. Putting off getting my driver's license because of all the stress... now I'm stranded until spring.
5. Not jumping on more activities with Mensa. I feel like I've missed out, and now I'll be unable to do them because of work and college once high school ends.
6. Setting my best friend up with that guy who turned into a stalker creep the moment they started dating. It's ridiculous how people can change the instant they don't have to work for what they want anymore.
Day Six:
I'm going to break the rules here. My list is long enough that, aside from my girlfriend, whose name I won't put out there unless she tells me I can, I can't just narrow it down to 5. But it's not long enough for me to make some giant speech about it, either, so...
you guys know who you are. And I love you all. MAH BROS, YO.
Day Seven:

1. Intelligence - I need to be able to have a conversation with a person.

1. My confession is... I have no familial ties. At all. Not to siblings or cousins. Not to aunts, uncles. Not even to my grandparents. The reason is that I'm basically an alien to my own family. They're nice people I just happen to live with. I owe them very much for the things they've done for me, yeah, but as far as having BONDED with them, well... it just never happened. I think differently than they do. I believe differently than they do, be it in politics, religion, anything. And in my family if your values swing that widely from everyone else's you just don't get spoken to during gatherings... which has lead to my complete isolation from the rest of them, as most of my family I haven't even met or spoken to besides a 'hello' at a reunion, during the holidays, etc. And don't even get me started on my brother. Despite the fact that we're very alike in our political and religious views, we've come to the conclusion that the only way we will not fight is if we are not speaking. So... yeah. It's not as if they're not NICE to me (except for the brother), it's just that... well, we haven't bonded at all. Maybe it's the reason I got so good at delving into social circles and worming my way into the 'good book' of most every clique at school, who knows. But yeah, that's my little confession.

Posted 15 years agoUggggh. I knew something was up with my tablet during my LS session last night, but it was okay enough that I could finish drawing... It was a little sticky in places, a little awkward to handle, but obviously I got stuff done, since there are 4 new submissions in my gallery.
This afternoon I plugged my tablet in with every intention of doing batch 3 of my advent adopts... and the pen is just completely fucked. I don't even have a better word for it than that. It was sticking like it was on perma-click mode or something. I restart my computer with the tablet plugged in. It's an old, abused tablet, so sometimes it has problems, that usually fixes it.
...nope.
I reinstall the driver. When restarting doesn't work, that ALWAYS does.
...nope.
Finally I dug out the CD, uninstalled the thing and reinstalled it. Upon start-up my computer froze the second I tried to do anything with the pen. Finally, I go into the settings and disable all clicking function with it, and now I have a pen that is functional but a pain in the ass.
I knew this was coming since I've been fighting with it for awhile now, but I didn't think it would happen at a time like this. It figures this would happen right after my buddies convince me to put some(read:most) of my christmas gift money back into my WoW account so I can play with them. x.x
Here's the part you guys might care about:
I want to know if anyone would buy art from me...? x.x Nothing expensive, I doubt even my fully shaded pieces and such are worth more than $10-$15. My pen still WORKS so I'm still capable of arting, but I dunno for how much longer.

I'd like to think I'm taking my art a bit more seriously since then... idk. :C So this is the 100 song challenge. Basically you do a picture themed around music. Yes, I decided to do some FREE TO GOOD HOMES adopts!
Every 5 days until Christmas, 5 designs of various species will be put up for adoption. Let me repeat: these are totally free. They will be made with a template I'm finishing up now. c: Yes they are mostly an exposure thing, but they're also to help me get rid of some designs I really really want to draw but don't have my own use for. Maybe someone else can. =^^=

The adoptables were a big success. c: The first 4 were claimed and sent out to their new owners within the first half an hour, and the final one was adopted less than 4 hours after that! Batch 2 will go out on the 6th! (The 7th if I get too busy, but I'mma try to get them done on time.)

-My cat has forgotten his name.
So... he disappeared somewhere, and we couldn't find him. Because he has a habit of knocking things over, chewing boxes, ripping holes in bags, etc., we really kinda needed to figure out where he was. I walked down the hallway and into the kitchen calling his name, which, for the record, is "Osiris."
Nothing.
Finally I get so exasperated I just yell "Come here, Fuzzybutt," a nickname we all kinda call him a little too much. I suddenly hear his little bell jingle and he comes out from behind the pile of shoe boxes in the hall.
I tried calling him a couple more times so he'd come to me the rest of the way. Nothing. .
I try 'Fuzzybutt' again. He walks right over. :I
Whoops.
-I have decided on a wii as my first console.
Game suggestions? :D Already going for: Epic Mickey, Sonic Colors, one of the Mario Party games (whatever's cheapest, lawl) and Pokemon Battle Revolution.

I have ideas for a couple of species of adoptables. Genuine adoptables, not like the little moths in my gallery. I don't think I would charge for 'em. They would be mostly for design practice and junk, and to help with the crazy number of character designs I have that I would just never ever make use of. And a lot of them are for similar species. :C So... yeah.

Posted 15 years agoNyah, nyah. So Walmart is having their little Christmas sale thing, and one of the things advertised was a TV for less than $100. 19 inches. Granted it's an off brand, but this is what I've been looking for for awhile now, cuz our two other TVs... well, we've been banned from hooking games up to them. |P (Brother and I, still being in school, live with the grandparents.)
Butyeah. The sale means I can pounce on the TV as a Christmas treat for myself, and finally get some games goin' up in hurrrrr.
But I don't have the money to splurge. There's a Cash In Culture and a CD trade-in place nearby that I can pick up games and even a system from, but I have to go in knowing what I want. Or else I can save up and buy something more expensive.

What system should I get? (I can probs get a PS2 for next to nothing, if that has any bearing on anything.. owo)
And what games would I def. wanna grab for said system? There are some games I know I want if I get a Wii, but I like hearing reviews and opinions about stuff I may not have thought of. :,D
