Hi everyone. I've had the stomach flu for a few days now and I've been asleep on and off for the last few days! I'm writing this as I have just woken up (again).
It's even not a pleasant ride, and I've been throwing up and having fevers and man, has it been a grand ol' time. I haven't eaten in a few days and I just want everyone to know that's the reason I haven't uploaded anything.
Sorry if I don't respond right away! It might take a few more days before I can sit up enough to even think about drawing.

I HAVE A NEW SCREEN AND NOW I CAN SEE EVERYTHING

Turns out, replacing screens isn't that hard by yourself.

WELL, I haven't been keeping anyone up to date on anything because I've been super busy and also super in pain.

So, a few months ago, or like a month ago, I don't remember really, my cat broke my laptop screen. (How? I had my tablet pen resting inbetween the hinge part- where the screen meets where the speakers usually are up top.) and he jumped on it and crack, there it went.
Still haven't gotten it replaced, had lots of shit come up.

I managed to get a job in October. It absolutely sucked. Walmart works you until you're actually dead. Metaphorically and literally. I kid you not. It has happened.
So, with that being said, I worked as an unloader. Which- no. The truck isn't hard to do. Tedious and stressful, yeah. But hard? Definitely not.
What's hard about it is the fact that they expect you to know where everything needs to go the day you get there. (I am not kidding.) My supervisor, to put it nicely, was a cunt. A cold hard, old, smelly, bitchy, dirty cunt. Now, I'm not one to pussy out of hard things, but I could not stay there anymore. You have to lift boxes (upwards of 50 lbs or 22kg) by yourself. Which is an OSHA violation, mind you. And I am a female. And they do not give you time to lift properly, so lifting 50 lbs boxes (depends on what we had in the truck. Least amount of boxes was 800 in a truck. The most boxes we had was probably 6000.) and that all together is lifting anywhere from 48000lbs (21772kg) to 360000lbs (163293kg) a day. Just from unloading- and that was usually the first hour or two. For the remaining we would take pallets out into the aisles. (If you've ever been to a walmart or any other big type store and youve seen those displays in the middle of aisles.. the ones on wood slabs or those displays, those are called pallets. And we would have to pull out anywhere from 10-40 of those for two hours. And then we had to stock which wasn't hard, it was just super boring. But this went on for 8 hours a day, every day.

I didn't have time to be on the internet and recover before heading back to work for like a month or so. And the days I was off, I was in bed in horrible pain or asleep. So that's why I've been so inactive, and I apologize. (and also because Super Smash Bros. 4 and Omega Ruby.) But, you may say "Mushroom, why are you using past tense for this?" Well. I quit.

My supervisor did nothing to "train" me at all. I was always in the dark. I was literally called a "retard" once. (Which is super unprofessional might I add.) Plus, doing all that on my period is a disaster. (Haha, just kidding. I didn't bleed through once.) But for real, they threatened me with termination if I didn't move faster. I'm strong for a woman, but let me tell you that pulling 1k lbs of cans of beans to aisle 3 was definitely a trip.
I now have the beginning of fallen arches because of that place and my back is horribly fucked up. I made a doctors appointment, and I'll follow up with an update.

Also, when I WAS on the sales floor, everyone was an ASSHOLE to me. Like customers can be huge jerkwads, and they need to stop. Be considerate.

Also, I was sexually harassed more than once in the store by both employees AND customers. I did go to management about it and they told me there was no proof so they couldn't do anything. I told them "fine, here's your proof." And I left.

Walmart (at least here) is beyond unprofessional, they're horrible to their employees, and honestly, they suck.


Also, I'm working on art again. Doing the pokemon challenge to hopefully knock my art block. Will have all commissions finished soon! Thanks for reading.

I'm really sorry for delays and me being lame.

I'm not really going to spill my entire life story and stuff but here's the explanations:

- My Guinea Pig got horribly attacked and I had to watch him closely for a few days
- I needed new pen nibs and the current one I had shit the bed
- I've been out of town with a friend
- I got to see the Book of Mormon
- I've had to go to a few "goodbye" parties for friends leaving the state for college.
- I've been dealing with snake mites
- I had a viking funeral for a baby mouse
- I haven't been able to sit up straight all week because I tore a muscle in my back

OK. So, my local petsmart or the bedding I have had reptile mites. More commonly called snake mites.
My Red Tail Boa ended up getting snake mites and I've been dealing with that. :/ It's not fun.

Again, my arts being delayed but for a kind of serious reason. Well, depending on your definition of serious, I'd assume.

So, the other day my brother thought it was a good idea to put my guinea pig (appropriately) named Spaghetti into my rat's cage.
Long story short, Spaghetti got fucked up by the rats and we had to bring him to the emergency vet place.
