Oh dang, as I post this journal, I see it's been a year since my last one. I ain't been too active here as much as part of me would like to always post here often as I used to.
However, I'm still doin art for those who been watching me on twitter ( https://twitter.com/PetitePygmy ) and anyone knowing me in a few discord servers.
For anyone still wondering if I'm still doin commission work, the answer to that is yes. The thing is, I've decided to allow patrons on my patreon have dibs before I make public offers after a lil while, depending on how much I'm workin with from there. So if you wanna see some work before it's posted anywhere or what I slap down that's exclusive to just Patreon, do consider subscribing! To give a little detail into me falling under the weather, I've sadly been plagued by a clingy cold for a little over 2 weeks now. I was thankful to not actually have caught the flu since I didn't suffer the worse and more solid symptoms of it. About after the 1st week and a half, it seemed it was over with a simple runny nose with a bit of sneezing....but I was wrong, being slapped with more annoying cold symptoms right after that lol

And for those who like to keep of track of the progress of your orders, I keep a trello on my profile labeled 'Commission Queue'. During the beginning of next month, hopefully I'm feeling better enough to get enough work done.

I know I'm a couple of days late, but with New Years now coming up close, the greeting still applies XD

I've recently come out of a hiatus that I slipped into back into around late November and it's given me needed room to think about what I'd like to do this upcoming year. Beyond usual art production and improvement stuff, I'm gonna be leaning into trying to get commissions going longer a bit longer than usual but of course there's still the case of pacing myself while I try to get some moving related funds built up.

I'm even considering a weight gain drive, something that I've been back and forth with myself about for a long while. Certain details and features aren't set in stone, so I want to keep brainstorming ideas until I'm ready to present the Drive itself.

Other than all of that, making new years resolutions doesn't always stick like we want them to so all I can do is try and strive for better within my ability. I hope the same and give blessings for everyone and thanks as always for supporting me~ ♥

I fear I don't say or perhaps show it enough, but I'd like to thank those who continue to support me whether it's commissioning me, commenting or just silently viewing and faving my art often lol

It means more than I can express with words. I notice my journals are mostly just commission related but I often just like using them for anything important since it's easy to skip over journals in your inbox, depending on what the titles are and how much interest you may have in reading anything from an artist you like.

• Because my time for these are very limited, I very much prefer simple ideas that I can quickly work with, hence 'quick commissions'. This means long winded/very detailed order descriptions that would be time consuming would be likely to be turned down. This especially includes things that would require more than a single needed wip approval, otherwise as stated, wips will not be shown unless entirely required.

After some consideration and basically planning for less slip ups and incidents to happen in the future, I've edited and added a couple of things to my Terms of Service. It's not a big change and it doesn't flip things around for how business is done with me, so no worries.

The most noticeable & important addition I will be implementing is the rule of having a magic phrase at the end of my ToS page. This will also be added to the commission form for clients to put on there upon filling it out. 'What does this mean, Mya?', you might ask. Well, sometimes I can tell when people don't read the ToS and when it happens, it can make things either awkward or inconvenient depending on what a client does, requests or want to get answers for when the ToS already tells them what they need to know. Thus, this magic phrase will let me know if someone did their required reading. (Also I'll still know if someone didn't read, but scrolled down the page at Mach 5 speed to get the magic phrase lmfao) This doesn't count the moments that if clients have questions or anything for things that my Terms don't touch on clearly, if at all, so there's always the option of asking what you're not sure of what you've read/known.
This update becomes valid during the next time I open up for commissions on anything.

In the cases of wanting to keep an eye on my queue progress, whether you're a returning or new client, I keep a link to my Trello on my site. It drops down from the Prices & Examples tab under the menu.
