I think I have yet to feel like the realization of getting the break I had been planning is here, but all the same, some relief has settled in at least. I've left myself with quite a bit of time to do much, so this definitely means that in time I'll be trying to do more personal art and then work my way into opening commissions, doing more ychs and possible adopts again. (I say possible cuz right now I have next to no ideas beyond revamping ones that didn't sell if I don't keep em lmao)

As far as commissions are concerned, some revising will done where it's needed and I'm going to make google forms mandatory for regular commissions. I sometimes forget that I do have them available through my commission site, but it's been optional and they have been used, but they're not efficient enough with the amount of specific info to provide and it can be easy for clients to still end up sending forms with missing info. Better to make it as easy as I can for all parties lol

Aside from school being in the way, some recent power outage affecting a big part of the state I'm in has really thrown a wrench into my plans, so trust me that I haven't forgot about anything owed or stuff that I wanted to post since I've had another YCH waiting in the wings for weeks, but haven't been able to do anything about it. I can only put this up now after conserving energy on my laptop after it's been charged. I've only mentioned this to few folks, but it's damaged around the monitor and right hinge, leaving it unable to close without possibly doing further irreversible damage. Thus, I can't take it with me as I have to stay elsewhere for a bit until power returns. That's basically my update, likely the most serious one so far haha.

You seein that title right, folks. I'm gonna make sketch and sketchpage commissions available here, come Friday.

My winter break doesn't allow too much more than a month to get room to breathe, so I can only take on less time consuming commissions. If I take on anything different like if someone wanted to ask about icons or something, I'd allow it lol. (I just don't have recent examples, so I'm not sure I'll make any if there's actually no one who considered ordering those things from me haha)

It's likely I'll try to be open until around the 23rd, just to give myself a rest to do any bit of personal work and prepare for my next class semester.

I pretty much check folks who watch me, so like I've recently spotted, when I see something like visible transphobic/other phobic stuff on ppl's pages, it's a one strike flag for getting blocked, no questions asked or additional chances given.

Those who are a little too in the realm of doing/being the things listed in my 'Abort, Don't Engage' section are pretty much not welcome to partake in my work.

Whether this looks harsh, dumb, or what have you to some people, do keep in mind that artists are always people before their art and because they are creators who put pieces of themselves in their work, it's not uncommon to not want to share pieces of yourself with those who easily disrespect and goes against who you are, your beliefs and so on. The same applies to having friends and loved ones who would be affected by such people's behaviors.

If you find that account (not the commission one) from here and send a follow request, I'd like to request that you let me know if you sent one. I can be kinda uncomfortable with accounts that either are new or only have a default twitter avi so the chance is likely I won't accept (otherwise sometimes the case is I recognize the name)
Other times I check out profiles if I can and because of the content I post, if I don't see signs that someone would actually have interest in following that account, you might get rejected then. I understand some people have separate accounts for non-kink/sfw stuff so I can only guess that's the case, but then because I don't know who the user is and their twitter's content don't help, I get confused/ready to reject.

I have a warning in my bio for a reason since I'm not gonna accept every request if someone isn't following for what that account is made for. Like, really, why follow an account for expansion kinks if you're not interested lmao

Firstly, allow me to thank everyone that commissioned me this time. Having the chance to make so much art for you is such a joy and I'm glad to be able to continue getting the experience. ≧(´▽｀)≦

I meant to put this journal up yesterday, but I got caught up in some things. I really wanted to open up a new final batch, but seeing as my queue was mostly made up of orders that would take a day or so and not at least a few hours in a day, that made it difficult even with most of the quickness in the pace I work at with commissions. Of course, it's no huge deal tho. I like to give many people a chance to nab a commission, so usually that means opening several slots or staying open until a certain date.

For the future during my shorter breaks, I'll likely limit opened orders down to things I can complete faster. Sadly this may leave me to reserve things like scenes, ref sheets and sometimes character designs for the summer, but basically once you learn time management, it becomes something you want to improve when you like being productive lol. For those aforementioned orders, if they are available again during a shorter break, I can guarantee the slots for them will be extremely limited. And for scenes, I want to practice environments again more in order to feel more confident in giving clients better work in that area.

For anyone who had probably wondered if I do them, yes I do. You'll find a mention of them under 'Rights' in my Terms of Service. As long as a client requests to keep an commission for them to be private whether indefinitely or until a certain time, I won't post it without their explicit permission.

As some may know/remember, I have a locked kink commission twitter account , however commissions that are intended to be private, are not posted there for obvious reasons (people following the account will see lol) Commissions posted there are just things I don't plan to put in my public galleries, depending the contents. There's more reasons to that, but I don't have an issue saying them in private to those who ask. Either way, clients always have my permission to post the commissions they ordered from me. There's never a need to wait on me to post it or ask me to do so for that reason lol

I have plans to close up commissions on the 25th because I don't have veryyy long left on my break. Therefore, a couple of rules have to be set to make this easier and quicker for all parties.

○ No slot holding (If you can't get your payment in to me in at least 24 hours, your slot will be forfeited)
○ If the needed info/commission form isn't sent within at least 72 hours, your slot will be forfeited

Keep in mind that I tend to work fast, especially so I don't exceed my already small turnaround time. If I can managed to finish these quick enough, I will open up one last round of slots. Albeit, they'd be less than the 1st rounds.

Alrighty, since preparations are taking a while, much longer than I thought, I'm basically not only giving myself a deadline to get things fully together with enough time to check them over after finishing, but this is also the time I'll open commissions for the first few slots.

Upon my final day of class and soon to be the start of my break, I'm getting ready to open commissions again. My ToS and prices have been revised and soon that will be reflected in my commission site (which could use another makeover)

The following main changes you'll notice:
• Removal of the 'Thighs up' option (I've noticed this became increasingly less in demand over time, making fullbody pieces more preferred)
• A do's & don'ts list for 'fetishy things' under my 'Will Draw' list (I was pretty shy about this thing before, but I think by now ppl are aware of some of the certain art I make lol)
• Price adjustments of all offers
• Small adjustments to ToS

Of course I get guilty feelings upon deciding to increase prices on stuff, but I'm learning to I reign in more worth for the time and effort I put into commissions, as much as I really want to keep giving folks art that they'd feel is well worth their money.

As pre-planned, when I'm officially open again, my initial opening will be a few slots reserved to new clients. When that batch is done, then it's a free-for-all, the usual first come-first serve deal. Newcomers, get readyyy and everyone else, feel free to still do the same e u e)b Lolol~

I blame myself for overlooking info & misunderstanding the fact I'd not have any kind of break regarding next week, not to mention I think I must've forgotten too. Either way, I've got a non-existent Thanksgiving break lol. Glad to know my school thinks the Fall semester shouldn't have breaks in it and is fine with working students (esp the online ones) every single week for a few months straight, I guess.

I've been pretty occupied with school and it's only the 4th week, but I expected this since I know how demanding my classes can be by now, especially handling more than one. If I can manage to still carve out free time with leftover motivation, perhaps I can dish out some adopts and YCHs again.....if people are still interested in those from me lol

I've recharged enough to feel like taking commissions again, but school blocks me on different degrees and trying to handle even a few commissions with class stuff might stress me out a bit 'cause I don't like making people wait and my assignments have small deadlines, so if I happen to accept doing any, I'll be sure to really take it easy.

I just wanted to give some extra thanks to those who had commissioned me and of course thanks and appreciation to those who still support me through ways of commenting, faving and even viewing my work. I may not say it a lot or at least just don't go into detail with my appreciation often, but it does mean a lot to me all the time. My supporters do a precious and heart-wrenching job of well, supporting me and I give thanks so much 'cause I'm grateful lol. I realize that sometimes people do enjoy hearing verbal appreciation as it does have its own level of great value.

Seriously, it's really great to see that there are those from even years ago and in recent times that enjoy my work so much ; u ; ) <33333 I don't wanna get redundant, so basically I'm more grateful than I can express with words. <33333333333333

As far as revisions is concerned, they're really just commish related. Essentially by the time I open regular commissions again, things like my ToS will be revised as well as my prices. There won't be any big changes as far as I know at this time so the revision to the terms won't be much, like any price raises won't be by much either (but if a $10-$15 increase makes you uneasy, my apologies lol). So far, the sketchpages would end up getting a price increase first since they've been well in demand and are quite time consuming. They're still fun to do though and I figured there would come a time were I had to raise their price again. q o qqqq
It always hurts to raise prices //sobs// However, it's not bad to feel to want your art to be worth the prices put on it. Plus, I like to be able to provide for clients & have fun on their orders without burning out first lol I didn't get burned out this time, in case anyone wondered XD
