As the title says, I'll be closing commissions for now since I'd really like to finish up my current batch before I try to take on anymore. I got more orders (which I'm more than grateful for) than I thought and as I planned, I was gonna switch to limited to slots, thus after I finish up my current orders, the slots offered then will be the final call before I close regular commissions for a long while.

I might have to kinda do some re-evaluation of my prices as well too afterwards.

For Weasyl, 'cause of the amount of orders that came in, I wasn't able to get to those banner examples like I wanted to, so if I still get to do it, I may just open up some offers next month, if there's still interest.

After the commissions are open again, I'll keep them open for the rest of July and depending on how business goes, they may be open for the early part of August too. The reason for that is I'd like to keep a chunk of time reserved for some personal art & worldbuilding things as I'm always without either time or motivation to dig into it, but during summer break is the optimal time to go for it.

In the meantime, I'll continue bulldozing through owed orders. Not every commission gets posted by me, so even if you see a commission labeled 'Done' on my commission site, it doesn't mean I'll be the one to post since commissioners retain the right to post commissions from me~

So the message to my waiting commissioners is, thank you for your patience. Even with school slowing the process up, I try to manage my time to get progress in so you won't have to wait extra long. My queue is gradually being more and more completed, fortunately.

I notice my classes are taking a little toll on me while I try do other things, including work on my currently owed commissions, so to save myself any further trouble, Feb 20. is when I'm closing commissions. I've no idea yet if they'll be opened again before my semester is over, but if they are, it'd be temporarily for only colored sketches.

Until then, between now and the 20th is the time to get in any orders.
In the meantime, I'm still working on owed commissions. Class stuff can take hours to deal with, so should there be any delays that any clients may not know about, hw is the reason lol

It would really be nice to be able to customize them beyond color and alignment of text and symbols. I'd be raring to make more custom patterns for bgs if it meant I had more than just my DA or tumblr to plaster them on.

I know lots don't seem to mention it outside of forums or when FA announces updates, but surely such a feature usually does the job making you feel good by personalizing your own page and has the tendency to attract viewers as well.

The dark theme of this site may be easy on the eyes, but it don't mean I'm having an entire ball looking it all the time when I get to my page lmao

This is the first ych that's had it's date extended. I kinda thought about leaving it up longer without another end date until it had any bids, but I think I'll retire/scrap it should nothing happen by tonight, thus this is the last chance to have a crack at biddingg~!

Giving you lovely peeps a heads up on this unknown user that's made the attempt to impersonate the artist REYKAT enough to trick people into getting money out of them. How would someone do that when it's practically impossible to create custom work to look exactly like the work of the artist you're trying to impersonate is beyond me, but when it comes to thieves and swindlers, 'logic' and 'decency' does not exist in their tiny world.

So although I'm stepping my foot into the adopt door, it's more for design experience purposes and seeing what designs I could make that would make people want to have them and such.

Which brings me to the point of this journal~! What would anyone like to see from me in particular or even in general as far as adopts are concerned? I've felt extra lucky enough to manage have two bought from me before as it is lol, but I've felt I can only go so far from experimenting, bits of research, and just tossing elements together from guesswork on my own.

As the title mentions, my commissions have been closed~!

I'd love to keep them open, but school will suck out my motivation when part of me will just wanna cast aside schoolwork to do the fun stuff (but good thing I'm a responsible student haha)
Whether or not I'll open for some quick sketch commissions at least every now and then, who knows, but I'll try to do some more adoptables to get some more experience in at designing. There may or may not be more YCHs too, but I certainly can't guarantee ones that'll have a worked out bg like the others.
