Lately, I've been having fun resizing my drawings to fit desktop wallpapers, so I'm opening up these adaptions for free on request. If you come across any of my work you'd like to see on a desktop wallpaper, comment on it and I'll add it as a link in the description. Most of my pieces are up for this offer, not including commissions or trades (unless it's yours). Pieces with complex backgrounds may not be feasible, it just depends but I'll leave them on a case-by-case basis.

Hopefully I'll have a more substantial update to put here soon. I just got tired of seeing my previous journal on my front page.

Yeah, it's been a rough year for me. I had a few things come up that have kept me from working at my usual pace and finishing as many drawings as I'd have liked. I spent most of the first half of the year on the road away from home, and not having access to my usual set up slowed things down, as one might expect. To add to that, a very close friend and I had to go our separate ways, which took a lot out of me emotionally. Then after returning home, I learned that my dog had developed cancer while I was away and all I could do was try to keep him comfortable for the two months he had left. While I've done my best to stay busy, it's very hard to forget the days when he was struggling most, and I still haven't adjusted to the void left since his passing.

I know that as time moves on, things will gradually return to feeling normal, and I already feel that the worst is behind me. Most importantly, I don't enjoy drawing any less than I did before, and I'm eager to get my productivity back to how it was in previous years, though I'm not sure how soon it'll get there. To those reading this, thank you for your continued support and I hope to bring you many more fun and exciting projects!

Hello everyone! I'm Myssedakes, or Myssed for short. I've been posting my artwork to DeviantArt and Twitter for a little over a year, and I've decided to try and widen my audience a little. Over the next few days, I'll be posting the works which have already been uploaded on other sites. My plan is to post alternate versions of my drawings in addition to the regular stuff here, while keeping my DA gallery more focused. I look foward to being involved in the community here!
