whenever someone is shot by a cop, people seem to jump up and scream that cops are evil because of the ones that go bad, but you know what? that's simply not true, in staring at the ones that do something wrong you blind yourself to the fact that not all are like that, for ever one "cop shoots person" reported there's innumerable cases going unreported of cops who don't do that, of cops who continue their job without things like that happening

yes, its bad that it happened, but if one person does something wrong do you also go after their entire family? do you go after everyone who shares the same job as them? no, you focus on them and how they should be punished, not on how to punish those around them for what they did

a small percentage of the police force does something wrong, and from that people are asserting that all police do that and all that will do is mislead you from the actual issue: what is making those bad ones be that way? is there some psychological issue, or are they just someone that shouldn't be in that job?

keep all comments and replies civil, i worked on this for a few hours to try and get something fair and well thought out, i will discuss what i think with people but if anyone tries to make it into an argument then you will simply be ignored
