I got another camera and the damn thing didn't work out either, it seemed to be unable to focus, all my images would look like dog shit even in the highest resolution option.

But I had also taken a picture with my phone camera and proceeded to just edit it to be "presentable" enough , and could just post art again this way (I really don't want to, at all, but otherwise I'm waiting until October to get a new device)

So should I just start getting used to editing art before posting? I did it now and then for mistakes already.

I try as hard as I can not to let my personal issues bleed over to where I post my work, especially since those fee months I was in mourning, keep some semblance of this fake ass professionalism or whatever, but I really do be doing like dog shit right now, I'm very unhappy, and if I really do take pictures with this shitty phone I will be replacing the source files with better photos as soon as I get a new phone.

Y'all may not even mind or notice too much of a difference but I'm very very picky with how I present what I've drawn, and I'm in hell rn.

Hello everyone, I activated the phone we had spare for a while that we bought a while ago, because I'd been scared of it breaking for a while now, and it did, so it was time to get the spare out.

The camera is not suitable for the lighting I have available, I can't post art. (its ass poopy)
I literally can't, and I don't know for how long, considering giving plasma to get money to get one of the ones I've had before, because I'm still not employed.
Get a digital camera.

I'm starting to think how online I've been is affecting me negatively, especially with how I've been obsessing over posting every day and fufilling this quota for myself, as well as my phone breaking as of today, so I will be unable to post pictures regardless, I will likely begone a week, less or more, something around that.

But also, I very much appreciate my time on here and dont plan on quitting, I appreciate all of you, watchers and lurkers, I've been here two years so far and its pretty fun!

I've made a folder for lore of my universe which I call Overcast now that I have a device to let me do that.
mainly posts containing chunks of the lore as well as characters who are apart of that universe who i find notable, and will likely add more older posts to the folder since i know theres some i missed as of now.


fair warning that this very much still will contain some of my dirty or fetish content, since my personal tastes often come to play in my lore and characters within Overcast.

I'm still not happy with either of the designs, and i still need to tweak and experiment with it, I think I'm getting closer to something I want, hopefully.

Ok so when you post images right from the phone after taking a picture and post it, there's a good chance FA will just flip it on its side, so I have to go through and use a photo editor, right now I use pixlr, it's useful when I make a major mistake and can edit it out a bit in post. But also, I just use it to re-save images so they don't get flipped due to a change they made a good while back, and due to this I can't post more than 3 images a day if I wanted to, any suggestions?

Now for the bad shit

Not too long after our kitten passed our elderly cat became ill, almost immediately after eating a mouse, he ate the whole thing, he never usually ate the bottom half, besides from him being old as dirt we figured eating the intestines of the rat probably did him in, it started with him losing control of his legs, and just today he passed away.
I'm definitely not good still, I've lost 3 creatures that I loved in under the span of a year, the last one being with me since I was little.
It's going to take a long time for me and my family to fully recover.

I don't want to get into it too much, but after Bedlam passed, a couple weeks after that or so, we got a new kitten who we named Ruckus.
He was sick in general, but when it seemed he was getting better he started to become weak, and was suffering from seizures, we took him to the vet today but he did not make it.

And I'm going to need to recover, I'm having trouble understanding the world right now, it has taken two of my precious boys from me in such a short amount of time.

On top of FA apparently burning down around me, my laptop is officially broken, and trying to post with a phone results in a sideways image.
I have no idea if I'm going to be able to post art in a while, and I refuse to shift gear to twitter, I never want to touch that place especially when it's still under the control of you know who.
I'm worried about artists I like leaving the site because it seems more than likely for most that twitter is the backup.
I'm considering reaching out to people and friending them on discord, but I'm unsure.
I feel lost

I am done with my break, though I don't think I'll be pushing to post daily anymore, though I will when I can do so.

I'm thinking of taking a break from posting for a bit, as well as other certain things, restricting myself from certain sites except for ones just for watching videos and contacting friends, certain other sites ruin my mood completely, and I've been really pushing myself here to upload frequently.
I will be posting ONE more drawing tomorrow, after that I do not know how long I'll be gone for, but hopefully I'll have some drawings! but I'll probably still be faving others art and ect, mainly a break from just posting on FA, not interacting in it or looking in it.

Bit scared of doing this, I'll come back and i'll lose like 50 watchers or somethin' lmao

Keep in mind I might make this journal and have a weird burst of motivation afterwards and begin posting stuff past tomorrow, so apologies if I do that.

All of a sudden some of the things I try to post are forcefully being flipped sideways
I'm getting really fucking mad, I post through laptop because it originally didn't have this problem while posting through my phone did, and now it's just happening again despite not having an incident my whole time here when using my laptop.

I managed to fix it, I changed the way I transferred images from my phone to my computer and it for some reason fixed it
