11/24/25 Commission list + ideas?
General | Posted 2 weeks agoThis year hasn't exactly been good for business. Not sure if it's the economy globally, or my work just isn't good anymore, or the competition is too strong, or maybe it's the AI making custom pieces cheap and fast? I did notice some of my regulars are buying custom ref sheets, but nothing else, which makes me think they might be plugging it in and getting their supply that way. It sucks if that's true, but I can't stop progress. I kinda wish I would at least see the results if that's the case so I can maybe learn to improve or something. Oh well.

9/28/25 Updates
General | Posted 2 months agoInternet was down majority of the last 3 days, which is saying something since it's normally terrible as is. Anywho, I was able to get stuff uploaded when it popped on this morning, but I'll have to check messages and suchthroughout the week if work and family give me some breathing room. Sorry been terrible with responding for awhile now; life just keeps throwing me curve balls. Oh, and it seems we're close to 6K of the 8K needed to replace the engine for our truck.

Truck back from the shop; $8K for new engine.

So we managed to get the septic tank issue resolved.. $29K down the new drains.
Truck has been having a hard time shifting in the first 2 gears and has been idling worse than ever. Looks like cylinder 4 is kaput. On the plus side I guess, the smoke test came back as no vacuum leaks. So that's something. They did how ever say with how the engine is going, we have anywhere between 2 week to about 2 months before it completely craps out on us.
'Already cancelled our vacation to the beach that was supposed to start in about 2 weeks because of it -.-
But yeah, need a new engine. $8K for the engine and installation.
I'm hammering through my commissions on overdrive as much as I can without sacrificing quality at all to open up new spots. If anyone has any ideas for YCHs, for some themed commissions, anything like that, toss me a note or comment here and we can get things straightened out :)
Also thinking anything over $250 will get a special discount or something. Our poor truck needs repair badly ;_;

General | Posted 5 months agoSo for the last week or so, internet will just poof and we'll be out for random amounts of time. Typically unplugging it for 10 minutes and plugging it back in will reset for a day or two.
Now it's not working at all. So I gotta get into contact with our ISP and get YET ANOTHER replacement modem.
I swear, I'm cursed when it comes to tech.

Some updates!
Engine is doing worse, but I think we might have some ideas on how to fix it. Taking time and money. Ignition Coil was like $80-90
Septic tank is still screwed apparently. Jammed up again. $30K to fix, but we're trying to fix it ourselves, perhaps luck will be on our side c.c
Wrist feels much better though :J
Work hired 2 more people, so hopefully that'll make my real job better :J

Injured wrist
General | Posted 7 months agoHey, sorry for the late post, but I seem to have injured my right wrist pretty gnarly. Not sure if at work, doing the landscapping around our house for fireseason, or what, but it hurts like hell; so no Saturday art spree for me this week. Sorry to anyone looking to get updates this weekend. I'm hoping things will be operational as normal next week ;_;

Fml nothing stays operational for long I guess. 'Wish my character creator would have given me more points in luck.
Phone service was down for awhile too, but that seems to be working, all be it slowly, at the moment. Even text messages weren't working for awhile. Perhaps some sort of electric field, or a solar flare or something.

Status Update! :'(

Almost all of it has been with a progressively worsening cold, with it at its height being bad enough I actually wanted to call in, and should have, but I'm the only one on the night shift with a key, and management has been out, so HAD to roll in.
Oh, and I got a promotion, not sure if I mentioned that before or not. Whole bunch of new responsibilities, but so far handling them well. I get home later though, so that kinda sucks :/
Plumbing issues - So it ended up being about $600 for everything, they yanked out a ton of baby wipes, so pretty sure potty training went slightly awry. Can't flush anything solid still, and they can't do anything until the ice melts and they can access the drain fields. So there's more on that later. Until then, gotta go outside.
Edit: I know we're not supposed to put wipes down the drains, it was the toddler that put them in there.
Internet just went out this morning, and they can't get a technician out until Tuesday, so while I'll still be working on art Saturday night, I won't be able to hop online and make the uploads "live". Sorry for the inconvenience :( Currently on my phone writing this.

Plumbing Issues + Updates
General | Posted 10 months agoSo we've been having plumbing issues for a few weeks, and while I went under the sink and opened the clean-out pipe (standing water in it), and went under the house to fix that (that also had standing water in it), snaked it out, got some wipes pulled out (probably from potty training our middle kid and I bet that's where it came from), and now our entire septic system is clogged up. We're getting a plumber out here tomorrow, but it's looking to be about $500 for the 2 hours of work, estimated. Ssooooo, gonna have to open up a few extra commissions. Big chunk jobs or a bunch of rapid-fire solos, all sketches or full inks, you name it. Got any ideas, hit me up in a PM/Note and we can work some things out? <:)
Also, been pumping in a ton of hours at work in the hopes of getting a promotion; and I got it :D PM Lead. Nothing too serious, but comes with a pay bump and a bit more authority, even though they even admitted I can't do anything about the lazy shits on my shift >_< Already running 3 different departments all on my own, so the extra work-load is gonna be extra stress; hence the slower work-load lately. But I'm trying to streamline how things work and if things go the way I'm hoping, I can go back to working on art at full speed soon. Kids going to bed on time would certainly help XD
Also also, DAMN IT'S COLD UP HERE. 2 degrees currently and it's only a quarter to 11. FFffffff it's gonna get to bout -20 by the time I gotta roll out to work in the morning >_<

Slight delays
General | Posted 11 months agoHey everyone; sorry for the notice but there will be some delays for the next few weeks due to X-mas, New Years, different holidays, truck repairs, and relocating my office into the closet so my kids have their own room. I'm sure in a few weeks after everything is fully swapped into the new office, my muse will come back and things can proceed at their normal pace.

Modem crapped out; No Internet

Said it's connected, but everything times out, games won't load, so until I can save up some money for a router, I'll be offline except for a peek here n there from the phone :( Sorry for the delays.
Was offline for about a day n a half, almost two. This morning my phone was able to access the wifi, so popped on here and everything seems to be working for the moment. So tearing through everything I got done over the last few days and trying to keep updated. c.c

General | Posted a year agoI don't remember doing that, but I don't have any journal comments left sooo.. I nuked them somehow? But I got the other comments (yes, I'm still working through them; 239 left) so; I don't know. Bleh.

Now that it's summer and it finally stopped snowing, I got house improvements and repairs to do, but that requires funding.
SO, I need to open up some new stuff around the corner! I got a couple of YCH ideas, a bukkake YCH or two, maybe an orgy set if the others don't pop. Main themed ones I wanna do to break out of my average ol' rhythm is some TENTACLE PORN. Feels like it's been AGES since I've done some tentacle porn! Anyone interested?
$75 for a fully inked solo of your character (for normal 2 arm, 2 leg,1 headed characters of any sexes) getting ravaged by some tentacle monster sound reasonable? Of course, edits are included :)
Was thinking center of a bukkake for like $70, and $10-30 for the peeps cumming on them, depending on hw much of them is visible.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

WILD FIRE ; Situation Resolved?

So the fire has been at 3886 acres for about 2 days now, but I'm thinking that's the amount BURNED, not the fire ITSELF. They've gotten it, as of 15 hours ago, 50% contained, and some of the closer evac spots are now going from condition red, to condition yellow. We're pretty sure the situation is resolved, but I don't want to hex it just yet cause a windy day blowing West could easily make this worse.
Apparently some homeless camps formed up again there and one of their loose camping fires spread out. Again. Third time in that spot. And another started up North of us from a homeless camp as well, but that one was snuffed out fast.
Dumb shit is we have homeless shelters here. Gar. Anywho, looks like the situation is better. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers :)
Wild fire broke out on the other side of town and within bout 2 hours went from 5 acres to 250 acres. Multiple areas are being evacuated. Got home early to pack up and ready to evac ourselves.
Might be some delay before next upload/response if they can't get it contained.

As a reminder: Ink jobs take much longer due to needing to physically dry so they don't smear, and edits aren't possible without a bottle of white-out (which then needs MORE drying time). Hard to stay traditional style but I'm just to old to quickly get digital art ;_; They take much longer, but they are still being worked on. The inks' on new pics will be added to the list in line, so thanks for the patience :)
