It was great, despite the...midnight misadventure. Lots of friends, lots of fun, lots of sales! I still owe a couple things to a couple people, but those won't take long to get out. It was wonderful to see everyone again, and I can't wait for next year!

Today has been a very good day...Was surprised when I woke up to have someone order 4 of the MtG deck bags...then went to the first day of a 3-day craft show and made a little more money. Came home and found an order on my Etsy shop for another $130...all in all, I made nearly $500 today! This is awesome, because I'd been worrying about whether or not we'd have the security deposit+first month's rent for the apartment my husband and I will be moving into in early September. I'm pretty sure we've got this now...especially since I still have two more days of this show, and then another show in the middle of August!

Don't panic, that doesn't mean I'm leaving this one. I just want to keep my chainmaille stuff separate from...everything else. Y'see, I sometimes link people to my gallery here for business reasons, and well...some things just shouldn't be mixed in. So...everything else will be at  nakea_aralei! Stuff like drawings, clay sculptures, and whatever else I happen to get up to.

I finally got my shipment of rings in today! So...I've already got one of Mikoyan's two bracelets finished. I'll finish the other tonight and likely at least start on the rainbow Persians. Once I get to work tomorrow I'll get pictures of them all and post them! ...I don't like trying to take pictures at home. It's too dark and it leeches all the bright colors out of the pictures.
