But I did want to drop in to share that I've recently started up a Ko-fi page!

I've got it set up to handle 5% off listings for donations, and 10% off listings for returning clients of commission work (these STACK and are permanent)! Which btw, I will be cycling through openings officially starting in March!! Offering up emotes, stickers, avatars, full scenes, some nsfw upgrades and even some physical goods like stickers, charms, buttons and eventually badges. It's going to be a slow roll out as I micromanage average output while still working full-time day job. Consequently, said job has halted streaming quite a lot. Posted 4 years agoIt's been some harrowing couple of months, but I wanted to drop in!
• Finally qualified for Twitch Affiliate this week (link in profile). :D I was able to maintain 3 out of 4 qualifiers for many months but as some as quite and adamant to advertising, the follower count needed a small push to cross the threshold. Even had my very first live event with mic on and a handcam to show the tablet, this past Friday! It's been a lot of fun, with a lot of brand building and events in the future.
• I've moved into
wolfwings new abode as of June! With 'FerretBomb' soon to be bringing his studio over as well. It's been challenging adjustment after having lived in Florida my entire life... to suddenly catapult myself to the midwest. But I know there will be good things to come with patience. It's certainly an upgrade from the dangerous streets of Orlando I tell you h'wat. lol.
I am still generally more active on Twitter and Discord. It's easier to parse in small mentally consumable portions when I'm only given maybe 2hrs a day due to commute and the like. But I still sincerely appreciate those of you still here, lurking or not. ♥

All done, for now (11:00pm). There's quite a bit of traditional work that needs editing, as well as scrapped sketches.
I've been fairly awful about uploading, simply because Twitter is just so damned convenient. And truthfully, a lot less prep work involved. Haha. But since this is my most accessible gallery, I'd like to play catch up on quite a bit. It has been 3 years. LOL. Unfortunately a large majority of files have been lost to some deceased harddrives- so if anything may look compressed/low quality, it's likely a screenshot from my Twitter feed or an old cropped WIP.
Also in process of updating profile info to be more concise/friendly as well.

Posted 6 years agoIt is oddly interesting to see I'm fond of updates in the late yearly quarter, but it's been pretty neat to drop by and see how much has significantly changed with myself each time! Especially with good news. Promise I still exist and create art.
It's been since early 2017 when my 9yo desktop PC had finally crashed. I had requisitioned a used laptop in 2018 thanks to some friends. Which had recently stopped working as well (I kill things by multitasking too much). After some due diligence and a radical promotion at work, I finally have a newly built desktop inbound. Almost 3yrs strictly mobile with limited access. Made due, but frustratingly.
Also now have a truck, finally! My roadster has been the work horse for 5yrs now. Cant wait to be camping and offroading, safely. Been replacing and refurbishing systems the past 5 months! Keeping me occupied in the time I have not been drawing so much.
Otherwise, I plan to make a sort of livestreaming schedule once the PC arrives. So keep an eye out on my art Twitter for times & info.
Cheers to finishing off this decade stronger than ever before!

I mean really, it's actually been all sorts of good steps and fun challenges. I'm proud of what I've accomplished and will continue to do on the horizon.
But my dudes, I'm exasperated.
**I spent like 30m typing a detailed novel and decided to keep it simple instead!
• Requisitioned a laptop/tablet to get back into digital art.
• Moved into a house! Having a yard is great. No tools is not.
• Changed from 3 jobs/night shift to only 1 job with train commute.
I'll be updating my owed queue my next day off, for those curious.

Posted 7 years agoShortly after my last update in February, my desktop became unusable. Nothing legitimately able to be fixed without the snowball effect of replacing parts. So I intend to build something 100% new parts, because this one had been frankensteined late 2010. Had one hell of a run! Old faithful.
It was odd to think I don't reflexively check any websites without actually sitting down at a desktop. Until I opened a link via telegram and was like OH DENG I FORGOT TO LET PEOPLE KNOW.

▬ Working 3 jobs now. (No one wants to pay me well or give full-time. yee)
▬ Managed to completely rebuild the suspension in my car, in 3 weekends.
▬ Finished off 2017 with 2 more championship awards, and tons experience!
▬ Learned my diploma is invalid, so working on TABE prep for welding school.
▬ Phone died 3 times, thus if I have not spoken to you, I lost your contacts.
LIFE IS STILL GOOD. But also suddenly Hardmode™.
pssssssst. I might actually attend Megaplex later this year! Badge trades, if so. ♥

Changes since last year/update:
▬ I've taken my racing 'career' more seriously. Going to school(s) and earning sponsors!
▬ I even got 2 raises at my crap job! Though coincidentally, I now have far less hours.
▬ My LDR will be moving in next month. NEXT MONTH. I AM SO HYPE YA'LL. ♥
Drawing has still be relatively steady and I'm trying my best to remember to upload finish work here more; doing way better than 2016 for sure. Haha. I have no idea how my productivity will change in the coming months. With my partner moving in, he's likely to help me draw and create more but also be a terrible distraction. Lmao. And my racing schedule gets a lot more intense over the summer now that my sponsor is attending events to watch my progress with new parts and techniques. *hhhhh*
Life is good. Busy, but really good. (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

Hope everyone's been safe in this summer heat. I'm thankful my 3rd shift work schedule keeps me out of it for the most part! Nearly collapsed from heat exhaustion during one of my autocross races recently. HAIL HYDRATE, yo.
Not too much to report on, though. I've been drawing a lot more frequently this past month, thanks to Overwatch coming into my life. Writing drabbles, collaborating on a comic and sketching fanart for warm-ups before commission or trade progress. All this fun stuff is on my art Twitter of course. Soon to share some cosplay things in the coming weeks/months~!
Entirely based on my work schedule (looking for a less awful job atm), I'm hoping to entirely clear all that I owe and create some fresh new examples for trades and commissions entering the new year. Looking to build a new PC in order to accommodate the almost strictly digital offerings now. I thoroughly enjoy streaming, but it's come to 50/50 chance of catastrophic video card failure, due to age. Bah!
This year has been extraordinarily difficult, but quite fruitful. ♥

Since I talk/update/share/stream everything there, I very obviously tend to neglect the less personable places and galleries. With my life finally getting back in working order (literal & figurative) I wanted to pop in to say hi and share a few things!
▬ I've been taking A LOT of trades via Twitter lately since creating a new character...
▬ ...I made a brand new fursona! Her name is Midori and will have a reference soon(?)
▬ Also planning to rewrite the stories of Abydos and Sonar to accommodate changes.
▬ Traditional art (owed or not) is on hold until I have towing options to get my supplies.
▬ I have a few notes and emails to respond to asap! I havn't checked accounts in so long.
▬ If all goes well, I'll be working again shortly (drug test and background check today).
▬ I'll be starting to make a monthly magazine for my local autocross based, car club.
▬ Then all sorts of projects like rebuilding my RC car, getting a tattoo etc that require income.

Posted 9 years agoMy entire...well, a good majority of, life- changed drastically in the past week. And all for the better! Budget is a little tight due to my drive to/from work doubling in distance and cost(s). But the happiness from being in a new place to really call home is spectacular. I have a legitimate DESK! There's cats! The internet connection is nearly triple what I had previously (oh man can't wait to game and livestream on it)! And I'm quite content to be closer to all the "local" car meets finally, and all those I know from them. :)
I'd like to say I'll be drawing again once the dust settles here, but I've got an epic plan for 2016 in motion already. Of course I'll set aside the time to finish the last 3 things I owe once I drag my art supplies out of storage.

Not art-block, just muscle fatigue.
Posted 10 years agoFor awhile there, I was genuinely worried I had a vein of art-block. Nothing was right or I could never really even start/finish without frustration. Eventually found the common denominator from everything- hand cramping! Didn't pay much attention cause I was too focused on the artistic issues on the screen(s) instead. So I'm relieved, but cautious. Obviously don't have the same stamina as I used to! Could draw for 8-10hrs at a time and only end up stopping to eat and/or sleep. Haha. Now 30mins to an hour is a struggle. Nothing to hold me back, just self awareness for allotting breaks and separating physical and mental problems. Progress!
Though in the time I thought I was unable to draw, I have wrote [typed?] a lot (as accompanied in my recent upload). I even managed to bust out my own Telegram sticker set this morning, using Yuniwolfsky's feline template! It was a hell of a task but each one took maybe 15-30mins each, so my hand never got inflamed or sore since I had to take the break of uploading each sticker to the pack and waiting for them to appear. :D
Due to lack in communication, and what seems like interest or life hurdles for those involved- I've decided to drop the not started or unfinished trades I had waiting. No disrespect to anyone, just managing my to-do list more appropriately. Also updated my profile info as well as header/footer links etc. General stuff, but still important.
I've unfortunately become a lot more difficult to get a hold of- due to inoperable phone, work schedule, weather and budget. Genuinely sorry, which is why I'm here to poke in and say hi while I have an opportunity! n_n Happy Nondenominational Holidays! ♥

Wanted to pop in to sort of give a heads up that I'd like to begin collecting art-cards, again, soon!
I've been wanting to draw more frequently (than never, pft) as well as missing receiving art from other artists too. I think these cards would be pretty fantastic an outlet to do both with minimal stress. Not only that, but if measured properly, they can literally be put into old Pokemon card pages in a folder for safe keeping.

Generally 2.5in by 3.5in. (though I cut down to 2x3in to compensate for lamination)
I'd love for this to be a no hassle, no time limit, fun art escapade! Varying from [mini scene], to maybe [themed] as well as [portrait] sort of styles and anything inbetween.

Posted 10 years agoI didn't actually get to attend this year cause work, but I managed to scoot over to the hotel before sunrise (right after work, hah) for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday. So glad I did!

Updated my owe list cause I've actually been prone to drawing more lately. :> Though work has not let up in the least, so my chances are limited to 1-2hr daily opportunities; making due, just slowly! Also means streams are not likely, unless people are voluntarily awake 7-9am. Haha.
Don't forget that my (ART TWITTER) is far more active than here! Lately I've been sharing artwork that's been done for me; art-trades and commissions I've recently bought. Alongside a lot traditional things I have yet to upload.

I'll just share the 3 & 1/2 most important/relevant:
• I made a (CharaHub) account!
▬ It's currently at cap of 52 original characters. Everything from fursonas, to role-played and even all sorts of old & retired things I'm not terribly proud of anymore. Haha. Only maybe 2-3 have legitimate biography information as of right now, but I've slowly been nit-picking at it whenever I've got downtime. Feel free to follow, ask questions etc. I'll also be resizing and uploading more recent images & references to fit the size limit.
• I've got a full-time job at Disney!
▬ Well, on property. I now work at a restaurant at the Swan & Dolphin resort. Which is actually pretty great; I'm very lucky! Though I'm still having a difficult time adjusting to everything. I went from 15-20hrs a week doing industrial work away from the general public....to 40-70hrs a week under the stress of constant interaction with guests. It's quite taxing on me mentally and physically, so I spend a lot of time recuperating (until I find my 'groove').
....I got Strep Throat and potentially "walking pneumonia" from someone at work. Still not recovered.
• I bought my very first car!!!!!!!!!121kjd
▬ Long story short, I now have a 1991 Mazda Miata MX-5, and her name is Churaumi. ♥ I'm still riding the adrenaline rush of happiness and excitement. I've pretty much devoted all my free-time not spent sleeping, to her. Learning to drive manual, doing cosmetic mods, going to Roadster meets in my area, perusing forums and just general adoration. Here's a (small photo album) from the past week.
I often miss drawing, streaming, commissions, trades. I still scribble via pen occasionally at work, which I'll share on (my art Twitter), from time to time. But I suppose I'm just so wrapped up in a lot of change lately, that I havn't dedicated the time to more polished work. I've not given up! Nor hiatus or art-block.

I have in fact been drawing way more frequently now, but lately it's private/unposted/questionable work.
Though that may change, seeing as it's disheartening to improve and be proud & not be able to share...
Very high chance I'll be offering up official commission slots asap. Just need to make more broad examples.
Coerced recently into joining Flight Rising. (ME)
Strictly mobile atm, but enjoying it none the less. :D
No particular convention/event plans for now. Working 3rd shift retail doesn't really allow it. Bawww

1) Had art-block for the entirety of September. It's mostly taken care of now, but some subject matter is still a little more difficult than usual. I actually do want to draw again (have been; mostly private clients and orders), where as for awhile there I never had a passing thought. On the right track, just derailed for a bit.
2) In that juncture, I occupied my time and creativity with Minecraft and building R/C car(s). Still doing both, plus some art and feebly putting myself back out into the application pool. I still have my retail job, I've just completely lost any fulfillment from it as of late. Aspiring for greater!
3) Without spilling my detailed guts....I've done a lot more meditation lately. Involving confidence, self-worth, ambitions and such. It's been a lot of harsh realizations alongside plenty of good mojo. I'd love to have a chance to "reinvent" myself and maybe my art in some fashion. Due to narrow budget and time, prioritizing has been a personal war zone. BUT it feels good to have tangible goals. Albeit substantially out of reach right now.
TL;DR → A lot of prospective changes to be had. Myself and my artwork.

Posted 11 years agoDecided to consolidate A LOT. As well as update links. And move the "to-do list" to be actively available on my front page (via journal) so myself, and others can see it with less effort.
I admit I'm rather lackluster when it comes to social activity (outside of Twitter), so I began making the habit of being exertive via mobile. Comments, PMs etc. Chances are, if I typo something horrendously...it's the delightful woes of auto-correct. Haha.
My "schedule" is still awfully variable these days. But midnight to noon (EST) is the best time to bother me. :D

So I am gonna go to Megaplex on Saturday, for a few hours and drag with me since I will be stealing her away for the weekend. We couldn't hang out for her birthday (June 23rd) or mine (July 6th), so it'll be an adventure. I'll probably do a info meme for it at some point.
