ok MRRF this year was probably the worst I've been to. They had 3 industrial chillers pumping mist into the building that condensated into 100% RH inside the building as well as a slick floor with 1,000,000 USD worth of electronics and nurmous people that are old enough to break hips from just a fall. My grandma almost fell like 5 times during the event. Also, I lost a heater cartridge to the event and eventually the canbus board went out on my V2.

Also, I have a project that somewhat pertains to the Fractured Soul and Hidden Ties. You may recall that Oswald mentioned Nathan made the dotfiles for Sylypith's desktop lineup when he was 14 (Sylypith was in highschool in The Fractured Soul so he would be grown and graduated by this point) Well, I may be working on making what the desktop environment looked like that Nathan made. If you have a Arch Linux system, it'll work best for that distro currently with the way things are setup. Mind you, I'm taking some liberties to make sure it functions with current internet and device infrastructure, so ARM64 isn't supported.

I know it's not a furry convention but it's the only event I feel comfortable going to as I don't drive currently so my grandma goes with me usually. This year though, I've got some things set up for the 3dp Rescue booth. They're not a sponsored booth but the event has tables to claim nonetheless.

I'll be there, showing off my V2.4 and my V0.2. Look for a guy in a dark grey fedora, some hip bags, and maybe a dark blue hikers backpack if you want to meet up. Though only at the fairgrounds near the event please.

I'm going to start on the Abnormally Corp interview in the next one, and I may need some for future parts too. I do have some criteria for them.

1: they need to have some sort of power or specific property to them. Moreso beyond basic spells or pokemon moves and teleportation. I'm think magic more specialized to a certain facet of physics or they're made from rubber or plush. Something outside typical pokemon capability might work too.

2: can't be extremely overwhelming sort of power (moreso not overwhelming and turned to evil). I'm not looking for cosmic horror level entities akin to H.P. Lovecraft's. Entities on the level of Sethrin's nexus creatures may work though.

3: I don't need the lead of some massive drone organization. I'm not at the point of needing a climatic event currently. Might shoe horn them in midway through but not as an obvious antagonist.

Also note that I need to keep things going so unless they're usually passive or helpful they won't come out on top, but will probably have the usual antics in there.

You know how I've mentioned my SFW stories before in the description of The Abnormally Corp and Werepokemon? Well I finally decided to upload one of them for purchase. At the time of writing it's in the review process, but I have the price set for 5USD for most supported countries and 5 EUR for those in EU member countries. I may adjust prices based on some feedback as I don't know avg income in some places, but you'll have to wait for a submission before I announce it.

How do the writers amongst you handle burnout, especially if you have ADHD? I haven't been writing as much as I used to due to this. Much of mid 2024 I was writing up a storm but after the Abnormally Corp I feel like I'm burning candle wax rather than natural gas. And mind you I wrote these mostly when watching Family Feud on my phone.

Hopefully after finals I get more focus. Been mostly watching YT and scrolling through here.

I feel like with about 10-15K words written it's time for a Q&A related to the Abnormality Corp. I'll take some questions related to the following, though if it's going to spoil too much I might not answer or be vague.

My paint apps are Ibis paint X and Krita. Ibis paint X lets me do some better looking foilige with my current brushes. Krita gives them a more painted look with what brushes I use.

You're free to use the scenery works for comms of your own, but you need to make sure you or your artist leaves my mark visable in the work, my initials (NS) in my handwriting, and that you credit me with a link to my FA or DA page.

After some critique from :helixthefallen: on my Magitech Prodigy pilot. I'm considering finding beta readers for some of my works. I probably won't use google docs since there's a CVE vulnerability I read about involving doc links for those who click on them, though I'm pretty sure it's not actively used (I don't remember the CVE number nor know if it was patched.) Instead, I'll use my Wattpad for this. Right now I don't have "The Magictech Prodigy" on there since I'm still rewriting the first chapter. but chapters 1-12 of "A Fast-changing Life." https://www.wattpad.com/story/21911.....-changing-life I could use some beta readers for. 13-36 are from an old revision at the time of writing this journal. Also, I wasn't aware of the copious amounts of plotholes in J. K. Rowling's works. I've had my share since I started writing at 16, but I usually can remember to fix them after a while.
