Surprise everyone, I'm not dead :P

I have several projects that have just been sitting on the back burner so to speak, sorry about the lack of updates again T^T

One of my watchers has been hara- I mean- reminding me that I should get some work done around here ^_~ Granted I did give him quite a teaser on one of the side projects, hehehehe ~♥

So early June - I'll try to have something for you all in early June :P

Well I guess I have to add another site to my rotation (and another account as well now) - since one of my favorite artists,  idrawgayboys, gallery was mostly removed due to an overruling of a previous ruling.

ah well, I guess I remain intact since my work isn't as Adult rated (when it comes to HTTYD anyway).

Hello again good and faithful watchers!

Last week saw me sick, and this week saw my computer sick - after serving me faithfully for three years my antivirus took one for the team and went down in flames, kicking and screaming, while dragging a virus into the abyss with it...

So now I have a new antivirus! Huzzah!

However that did occupy a large portion of my morning the other day - and there was some family in town - and other random excuses here - so, sorry again for yet another lack of new content week T^T

I'm going to see if I can find an unfinished work or a sketch or something, just because I want to put at least one thing up a week for you guys! So I'm going to see what i have available - but in the meantime, you can help me!

That's right! You heard me! I've been approached by a requester who would like me to make a comic! But I can't decide what era to place this comic in- so help me decide! Personally I'm leaning towards either medieval/fantasy or scifi/future - but I'm open to other suggestions! Cast a vote by simply replying to this post before next Wednesday (since that will likely be when I can start working on it). Luckily I'm not super popular like some artists - so I don't think it will take long to tally the votes :P

Speaking of my requesters, I love you guys so much - seriously ^_^ ~♥

Why do I love you guys so much? Well for one you're here listening to me ramble on, and for some reason you like my art :P But honestly, you guys give me things to draw. Almost my entire gallery is comprised of requests - very little of what I've drawn is simply for myself; that's not to say I don't get enjoyment out of your pieces of course, if I didn't I wouldn't be doing them now would I! ^_~

But also, I love that you guys basically give me free reign. My instructions or guidelines are usually limited to the characters involved - sometimes I have to ask for more input just because I want to make sure I'm making something you'll enjoy ^_^ I love that you guys trust me to come up with something suitable, generally speaking (and I believe my requesters can back me up) the only other info I typically ask for would be: personality type (you may have seen my giant blocks of disclaimer text on pics apologizing if anyone is acting out of character :P), any particular settings, pose preferences, etc (most of the time I don't ask for this, unless I'm just stumped for what to do), and rating (fairly new - since I started drawing and posting adult pics recently, I've started asking what people would like).

So far I'd like to think everyone's liked my work; seeing as I've not had any complaints, and you're all still here :P And I've never turned down a request - I'll generally try most anything once (don't test me on this - I'm sure someone can come up with something I won't draw - actually it's not really that hard - and it is free, so I think I'm well within rights to decline a request :P). But if I just roll through the FA tag types lets see what I can come up with that I'm not really interested in: Inflation, Muscle (as in hyper muscle type - I don't mind guys that are just "built"), Vore, Babyfur, Macro/Micro (I don't mind some size difference, but I mean on a real macro/micro scale here), Hyper, Watersports, Extreme Gore (A little violence is fine - dunno how to accurately measure my gore-meter scale here :P).

So I'm really not sure what brought about that whole tangent - informative though I suppose - but I love you guys! :D

Sorry about the lack of update this week guys - been fighting the walking death the last [72] hours now. >_<

It's not really all that bad - but apparently my stomach isn't playing nice with anything. I don't hurt - and I'm not hungry - but I'm having a hell of a time keeping anything down. I managed to eat a (1) chicken tender tonight - and that's the most substantial thing i've been able to keep down since Monday.

Anyway - hopefully I'll be back to my old self soon and can get back to work! ^_^

In the meantime - I uploaded another WIP to the scraps folder to hold you over :D

Alright - we're trying to keep a tight schedule - so here's how it's shaking down:


1] I must now go get dressed for work - which will definitely not be as amusing or exciting as it was Sunday morning (you can ask about that later :P)

2] Work will end 9.5 hours from now - huzzah!

3] I will commence a speed run marathon session to complete  rmpsi's first challenge pic before the rest of the household wakes up, before my friend comes into town, and before I fall asleep again - there's about 3 hours to work with there :P

4] Collapse in sleep again - so I can get up early enough to make it to the movies.

5] Immediately head to work from the movies - repeat step 2 again :P

6] My weekend!

Getting ready to go curl up in the lair - but before I do I just thought I'd post again :P

A friend of mine thinks I should do commission work - I still maintain that I'm not good enough to get paid for what I do! Hell, until recently I had one really avid follower who would take my free art - I practically couldn't give it away! :P

I love my few dedicated followers who do ask me for requests - it gives me something to do, and makes them happy ^_^ ~♥

Alright my good and faithful watchers - I have another chance for you to be part of the creative process! Hopefully with better results than last time (no one replied last time :P) - but more on that in a minute!

Firstly; here's my current development plan:

1)  rmpsi has thrown down the gauntlet and I have accepted! The first in his series of 10 pics will likely be out sometime this week!

2)  bughadedo's reference sheet for Kyle (which is featured in my scraps folder atm) is nearing completion! And will hopefully be done this week!

3)  ncdarkness (that's me :P) is finally going to do a damned character sheet for himself - thus cementing his character into some constant form! This will probably be next week.

4) I am a fan of  roommates - if you haven't checked it out do so now- go on- I'll wait.


Anyway - I've been wanting to do a piece of fanart for  dreamous and  spelunkersal for some time (since before the hiatus). Here's where you can contribute! I am open to ideas as to which characters should be involved, and what they should be doing. So you can contribute by commenting below! ^_^

Yes it's true - we're working on even more requests! We have to make up for that hiatus (of over one year) :P

I certainly hope what i have planned meets these criteria ^_~

Hey look - that guy who hasn't posted anything new in ages  NCDarkness actually did something!

A request for my friend  bugadhedo2 who is quite possibly the most patient person to ever make a request ^_^ ~♥ *kiss on the cheek* Thanks for hanging in there bud - hope you like it! :D

I cannot believe it's been 1 year, 4 months, and 8 days since my last real submission... Now I really feel like a bum :P

Things have been busy in the kingdom of darkness: one flatmate moved in with his fiancee, another flatmate moved in, one friend moving out of state, another moving out of town - lots of changes!

However, as there's only going to be two of us in the cave soon, I should be able to draw some more; not that my flatmates would necessarily have hindered my drawing, but I just never really wanted to have to deal with "what are you doing?", or address the content of anything I was drawing at the time. :P

So to relaunch ourselves into things, I think I'll do a Top 11 list of the characters I like most. Why top 11? Well because as one of my favorite entertainers says "because I believe in going one step further" (google "Nostalgia Critic" if you have no idea what I'm on about).

So then, self-imposed guidelines: only one character per series, characters who are not satisfactorily anthropomorphic will be made so (the artistic license clause), characters stories may be expanded upon (the other artistic license clause).

Anyway - I'm still trying to decide what order to put them in... so no updates immediately - but soon(ish)!
