i have not been feeling well lately and i hope to work on artwork soon
i think im developing a mental illness and its just not fun. might be bipolar might me schizophrenia im not sure. might be the anxiety might be the stress might be the paranoia... needless to say life has been hectic and the only time i have spent off work is in the hospital from a mental break... then i went straight back to fulltime. honestly i can really feel the toll and i definitely need some downtime when i get home from work and the boyfriend is helping lots

im really soorry for the loooooong waiiitt but i really want to make my next picture the best picture ever. i still have yet to fill the lead singer with a random character design or if youre interested i can put in a commission for it. it has been over a year im aware and it bothers me since i am usually a really punctual person i have been putting my job first health second and i apologize

I'm just working 2 jobs right now. Last 5 days I worked 6 shifts.. Yep lol but I still have so many bills to pay off xD... I am thinking about selling originals at the local art show in a month but I hope to get my last commission off my chest...
I really look forward to the next project but I am sorry it takes me so long..

In other news, I plan on moving to Toronto in a year so I can go to school to become a video game designer... In 5 years I'll be making more money than a doctor so I'm told!

man its been busy. Sometimes I work over 5 days a week and when i come home i swear my bf needs me to hold his hand all day cant get a minute to myself sigh im getting a bit frustrated... miss you guys :(

life has been so busy for me lately, but its been really really good so dont worry about me!
My mom got me a really nice job working delivery for the pharmacy, now i spend most of everyday driving around blasting tunes in the new spring sun, no complaints here! Except im still jealous of my mom, going to Jamacia for a week so I'm going to be working literally every day, 6 days a week for the pharmacy pretty soon.
Other than my new job, I'm super excited but my new 55" HD smart TV, comes in on the 15th with my new livingroom set! But for now there's a huge useless pool table filling my livingroom for the time being xD

I rarely have any time for artwork, ive done a doodle here and there on the occassional whiteboard or scrap paper but to sit down and finish a project? i havent found the time.

I'm working on the YCHs, then immediately after that im finishing anything that has been paid for first, then unpaid art trades and collaborations next priority, and then i will be noting people who are on waitlist for commissions for payment because they would be done as soon as possible.

I had to call in work sick twice this week. started with Tuesday my car broke down, then immediately following morning i had the hugest pain in my neck i mean like literally i was doing fine about the car breaking down like, nbd, life goes on right... my neck sure didnt like me the next day like what a pain in the neck this car is lmao
well that was a bad joke but i called in sick to work yesterday and the rest of that day my neck was like in agony
Today im okaybut im trying to keep my neck still so i dont wear it out again. I've been working on artwork but im on a lot of medication so its hard to stay focused and all, im sure by tomorrow ill be fine or im going to the hospital lmao, but dont worry about me I feel pretty amazing about my outlook on life these days. I pretty much get the whole week off to work on art and its doing great things for my mood

Artwork has done amazing things for me over the years, it's opened me up to this whole world of friends here on the internet, it's given me confidence when i was positive i had nothing else going for me... It's given me reason to fight for myself.,. it gives me purpose and it's a talent I've polished over many years and over the years i have learned to love myself and at the same time i can give people a gift only I can give....

But as much as i love drawing and all aspects of what the world of art has given me... i have a calling... My family of friends have now surrounded me and my life, I have been so successful i feel the need to carry those around me as well.. I love my friends and i would do anything for a genuine connection with another.

But these days everytime i get a day to myself, i plan to do artwork, and im constantly finding myself pulled away from the drawing board to do tasks for ym friends and family.. they might need a ride to work or they might need some help making a birthday present for their little sister... regardless of what I have on my todo list i always ALWAYS put love first above all else. this is also a weakness, because with helping my friends i often find i neglect myself and my own wants and needs.

I apologize for taking so long on the commissions, but i feel like i have my reasons. and I have been making progress although it's slow... I'm about halfway done inking the next YCH (the pool party) and ive sketched out the full background too... I have no idea how long it will take for me to finish this because from here on out till at least the new year I'll only have 1 or 2 days a week off work! and thats not nearly enough time to balance my own needs aswell as doing artwork so I apologize.

i had high hopes to have time to do artwork last week; but i bumped into a guy and we've been hanging out nearly every day hes really sweet :3
so i guess you could say for my bday i got a boyfriend haha... I hope sometime he wouldnt mind if i spent like the whole day drawing instead of hanging out because damn i need to make time at some point.

i have a new pool table i found for free... though i cant afford to buy pool queues and billiard balls, i rearranged my living room and stuff and it just feels pretty darn comfy and the new environment is encouraging to be productive... i wanted to do artwork this morning but i was running around trying to understand why my paycheck wasn't enough and thank god my dad lent me $140 so i could make rent and minimum payments for my credit card. woot

I'm going to try and find a way to make enough money to make bigger payments on my credit card but I'm considering taking in commissions for friends and family for traditional art, like pet portraits or wildlife and such... i can whip these up when i have company.. all in time for Christmas presents. otherwise my grocery bill and all that is just going to rack up more debt on my credit card :(( life of minimum wage i tells ya :(

Otherwise from my financial situation; im doing pretty good and I managed to surround myself with new circle of friends and im glad to meet so many new genuine people, I enjoy giving my friends ride to work or school with my car, which is so awesome to own yet so expensive xD I hope my rates go down soon :c

Halloween is coming!

Yesterday I worked 8hr, I was on my feet over 12 hours and when I sat down, it's my friends birthday and he moved to the states like a year ago, and I promise I would go on call with him since he spent his birthday alone :( and I did for around 4 or 5 hours till 4am Last night, jeepers!! Needless to say my morning didn't start as soon as I planned. I spent most of my morning driving around and doing my friends some favors, and then My coworker asked me to take an 8hr shift after I had the planned on doing the artwork tomorrow... So I guess I'm pushing it further, I'm sorry.
I guess I just need the money (artwork isn't going to pay for my credit card debt) I really was looking forward to get back to doing the things that I love but the next 3 days I'm working over 22hrs... I hope I make time for the haunted house for my friend rose's birthday (I promised her) . i don't even know what I'm working next week but I imagine it'll be pretty busy because Halloween is coming up.
I'm posting my next artwork schedule tomorrow night and the next thing I'm working on is digital sketching and inks for all my ychs, starting in this order : the lineup, the beach, and the band, but I do think that I take breaks from one project to work on another. So I never feel the pressure to tackle a whole process at once. This also helps when I miss some details because I work and rework pieces until I'm satisfied.. I can be a perfectionist in this way.. I want each picture to be my best!

Life has been so busy lately, been trying to make my own little circle of friends of people to hang out and depend on, and with my new extroverted life leaves me little time to do the things i used to enjoy doing on a regular basis, like going on my computer, reading a book, wearing my tail and ears or even doing artwork! I miss doing art!! Sometimes i get time when friends are over to pick up pencil and paper without reference just so i don't get rusty, but i havent been able to finish a picture in a long time...

Because of my lack of free time to do artwork I'm going to be waking up at 8am everyday to work on artwork for at least 6 hours a day (on days that im not working at my parttime job)
I've scheduled some time throughout the week, and ive got several todo lists written out for my own time and for art time (and adventure time) lol

On fridays i'll be able to post my artwork schedule , so if i owe you artwork and you'd like to watch on skype or something, or at least know when your artwork is being worked on if you want updates.

I understand a month with no progress on a single piece can be frustrating... But i promise my best of quality will come to those who wait and are patient... I have been juggling through random blind dates and trying to get my car on the road in between working random shifts throughout the month...tbh this is the longest ive ever been single for like 6 years... one month rofl im sad i know lol... aka life is hectic these days.. and i plan to be BMO Teemo for halloween! (that is if i can make a spyglass and blind dart set by then, lol) I might also try to host parties on my spare weekend for furry meets..,,,

My todo list kinda works in steps, I do whatever I need to process from getting from beginning sketch to final product. Often i am jumping through several projects at once (eg; one day is meant for sketching, or inking, or digital work...) Sometimes I take much longer on the picture because I can't envision it well, or even sometimes I don't work on a picture till last-- and its not necessarily a bad thing! This could also leave me thinking about the picture way ahead of time, or it helps me revisit a picture several times.. maybe to fix anatomy, add extra details, but also this way I can often see and fix mistakes that I didn't see before, or I wouldn't have noticed if I had rushed the job!!

tl;dr; I enjoy taking my time to get the job done right! But if you feel I am taking too long dont be afraid to send me a note for an update!

would you be interested in buying some unpainted Windstone dragons from me...
These would be great for PYO dragons with some minor repairs... I collected 2 of them many years ago when i was like 12 or 13 from the flea markets, and i havent treated them very well... but to be honest im not interested in keeping them anymore, and they were never worth much of value to me (It's a shame that I had no idea they'd be better off in a new home till recently). Over the years they have both received a couple chips, including a couple on each of their faces.- i realize this diminishes their value quite a bit, and im willing to negotiate a steal of a deal with someone who is interested in buying one or both....
