FA has finally rolled out name changing and I can FINALLY be free of the wretched name that has plagued me for the past 15 years to be inline with my presence on BlueSky (which is here if you didn't know already)

Other than that, it's business as usual here at the Drox factory.

So, last week I came down with what I thought was just minor cold that has evolved into the mother of all colds. For the past week I've been near completely incapacitated with a sore throat, cough and unbearable sinus pressure. Rest assured that I'll be alright but this whole affair on top of general holiday madness has left me with next to no energy for drawing so I'm sorry to say that there probably won't be any art done until the new year rolls around unless some kinda miracle happens.

In any case, I hope you all have a happy holiday season or at the very least aren't completely suffering like I am.

Well, that was all quite scary wasn't it. Even though I understood it was only a DNS attack and all the user data should've been safe it still rattled my nerves quite a bit.
Since the death (read indefinite cryogenic suspension) of my Twitter the vast bulk of my followers are here and it's a scary thought that it all might come tumbling down thanks to one bad egg.
I have absolutely no intention of leaving FA at all, though I would like to remind everyone that I also post everything I post here on BlueSky (Plus some odds and ends I don't think are good enough for my FA gallery.) So if you like what I do, please give me a follow over there as well.

Yep, I'm following suit with all those other people and got myself a BlueSky account, and I have to say I'm quite enjoying it. It's like Twitter but bad and annoying things aren't constantly shoved into my face and my dashboard is actually in chronological order.

As always, I'm still going to continue posting everything here and also keep my Twitter account alive until the end days truly come but it's nice to know I have a backup when and if it happens so come give me a follow if you're already aboard!

As I'm sure everyone's more aware than me that Twitter is currently on a suicidal rampage to hell and I don't quite no what to do. The only reason I ever decided to post there in the first place was due to the Great Tumblr Exodus and, as much as I hate the culture, Twitter helps me reach a wider audience. But now it seems like everything's falling apart and no unified consensus as to where everyone is moving to. Things like BlueSky and Pillowfort are still closed to the general public so it's hard to tell how they'd actually grow upon full release and... I just plain don't understand Mastodon

I generally exist in my own little bubble so I don't really have a clear picture of what's going on and could use some sage wisdom right about now.

So, some of you may know that I like to dabble a bit in writing in between drawing and last week, in an insomnia induced mania, I decided to publish my own Gay Furry Fantasy themed WG (among other forms of growth) Choose Your Own Adventure story called 'Quest for Corpulence'. I'm really sorry about the content dry spell everyone, a few weeks ago my laptop took a nasty spill that broke one of the fans and it was hell to try and find a place to fix it. Luckily, It's currently at the shop awaiting the part order but it could still be a week or two until it's actually back up and running. So sorry about this inconvenience, I'm just as chuffed about it as anyone else but thankfully I got the repair squared away literally one day before it expired.

I just wanted to say this A: because I've been feeling bad about not having drawn anything for weeks, and B: I wanted that previous journal out of the way.

In the mean time, I might try to do some doodles on twitter and other smaller art things I don't think are quite up to my quality standards so give it a lick.

Hey everyone, just checking in to say that the laptop I use to draw has decided that whenever I put it into tablet mode it will crash so digital art will be out of commission until I get a new one. Fortunately, I have the funds to order a new one and hopefully it will be here by the end of the week. I managed to salvage all my files from my old one and once I have the new one I should be able to finish my next piece that's about 90% done before October's here! I know I don't churn out art very fast so it really doesn't matter in the end but I kind of wanted to get that old journal off my front page.

I kinda forgot to mention this but about a week or two ago I hit 200 followers! Its amazing to think I struggled for years to claw my way up to 100 and I managed to double that in only 9 months from before! I want to thank you all for your support and I hope you continue to enjoy my content as I work hard to improve and grow.

Well, the time has finally come. I am no longer a teen. I can't text, they've banned me from the mall and burned my skateboard. Life has gone down hill since I stopped being the dancing queen.

Well, I'm still drowning in college. But I occurred to me earlier that I've never given myself a formal introduction, and that definitely help me make friends with people when they don't have anything to go off of omo;. So i'm going to give a bit of an overview of my personal interests so I'm more approachable. 'u' (I promise I don't bite at all guys).

So I guess I'll start off with my name. My name's Evan, I'm 18 and I live in north-east Ohio (Where dreams go to die). I'm a fatfur, If you couldn't already tell hehe, though technically the term should be fatscale, due to being a dragon and h'what not, but that doesn't sound very appealing. Despite my neuroses and slightly morbid sense of humor, I'm a lighthearted guy. I'm a hugely into video games and game design. My favorite games are Harvest Moons (Currently I'm obsessed with playing Stardew Valley) Zelda, Minecraft, And Pikmin (There are a ton more games).
