Alrighty. Its been awhile since I've done an update, so figured I'd throw one out for those who are curious what Ive been up to. As some of you have heard, I moved up to Chicago starting in September of this year. I've been enjoying it alot since arriving. I currently live friends who I've known for years. Pamf and Metro (his bf Noodle as well, but we've only been friends a short time). Everyone has been very welcoming/supporting of me moving into town, and have been rather helpful while I get adjusted. To which I'm eternally thankful for.

Quick back story. Each time I've made a big move, I have struggled finding work right off the bat. When moving from my home state of Cali to Ohio, took me almost 3 months to find work. My landlord/roommate Truegrave was completely understanding, and let me slide on rent/bills until I found a job. Every penny was repaid once I landed work. From Ohio to Georgia, took me almost 3 months again to find work. I filled out countless applications, couldn't find squat. I eventually did find something and gained alot of experience over time. I was hoping with the move to Chicago, I'd finally escape that issue and find something right away. Sadly, it was not to be. Took me another month and a half to find work.

That brings me to my current job/opportunity. Its currently with a Chicago based marketing group that sells various products. Right now its currently working with FW1 waterless spray wax for your car/home. The sales job itself is simplistic, but tedious. The other marketers and myself go to various places like gas stations, Sam's Clubs ( like Costco), etc selling the product to people as they meander by. I'm not a HUGE fan of it, but even though I dislike sales, I've always been good at it. 2 weeks in, I've been consistent with my production numbers and money I bring in.

Now to the big opportunity. While what I'm doing now totally sucks and pulling 12-13+ hours with no real scheduled days off (I can ask to take one if I need it), they hired me with the hopes of promoting me to a Manager position and giving me my own office of employees to run. That's their end goal since they're looking to expand more in Chicago and open up more offices starting in April/May time frame. My boss has shown interest in grooming me for such a position, since he's seen the work I've put in and consistency with production. He wants to try and promote me by the end of March/early April as long as i continue to stay consistent, show leadership, help others who are struggling, and essentially act the part of a manager/leader.

That being said, some sacrifices need to be made. As much as I love being social with everyone here in Chicago, I have a very big opportunity that will grant me freedom/stability for the future. Something I've never had before. For years, money and a direction have always plagued me and stressed me out off and on. The ability to finally rid my mind of all of that is in sight. I want to jump at this chance and run with it. While I know it'll be difficult physically/mentally, it'll be for the best. If all things pan out, I have the opportunity to make upwards of 6 figures. On the verge of being 30 (Jan 17th for those who don't know), Its time to start planning/ironing things out for the next stage of my life.

So, I apologize ahead of time for any possible parties, events, birthdays, social stuff I'll miss in the upcoming months. Its not due to disinterest in wanting to attend, but due to making a sacrifice now, so I can have the freedom later. Just hope everyone understands and wont forget I'm still around and such. I'll do what I can to still make social events when available. Please don't forget about me if I seem quiet, unavailable, tired all the time, etc. I'm still here. Just busting ass now so I can relax/have fun later. Love you guys <3

In life, touch choices are always going to be made. I had to make one of the toughest ones I've made in a long while tonight. Due to certain circumstances, a talk between the bf and I was had. I've been dreading this conversation, that I felt it looming for a little while. Long story short, Dresden and I decided to mutually part ways. While it really sucks, since I do love him dearly, we are no longer together as a couple. Our lives hit that fork in the road that have caused us to part ways. He'll always be a very close person in my life, and we'll remain close friends as well. After a 4 1/2 year relationship, I cant exactly throw that kind of connection away.

So, with my upcoming plans, I'll be moving to Chicago at the end of August/into early September. I'm looking forward to this new chapter in life, but sad this current one is ending. Such is the way life works sometimes.

I love you Geoff. You'll always have an everlasting spot in my heart. I know you'll be ok, as will I :)

So, last night, I was asked if i wanted to be a judge for the Group Performance category during the Prelims of the FWA2014 dance competition. I was quite humbled by the invitation, since I know I'm not one of the bigger name dancers out in the community. I graciously accepted.

Its very nice knowing that what I put out there at the dance competitions is recognized, and that people enjoy what i bring to the table. Looking forward to judging :)

So, I've been a Team Leader at my job for about a year now. Today i received my first raise in this position! Its a 4.5% raise to my salary. It came as abit of an unexpected shock, since i had forgotten about the yearly performance bonuses. So while this job still irritates the hell out of me, and I want to strangle my agents, I'm happy my hard work is being noticed, since bonuses are based off performance. So yay and stuff!

So, I threw my name in the hat for the Dance comp at MFF2013 this year. I haven't done one in about 2 years, so I was a bit nervous with all the outstanding dancers that have been coming out of the woodwork. Part of me felt like I was passed my "prime" if you will. But I still decided to go through with it for shits and giggles. For me, dancing has just been something fun to do in suit, and never took it super seriously like others do.

During the prelims, i did my thing. I had to go down to the final elimination heat for veterans to grab a spot in the finals. Thankfully I did, which was a relief. I was a bit nervous i wouldn't make it. Hats off to all who performed for the prelims. The talent was crazy awesome this year. More so then I've ever seen.

Fast forward to the finals. I got back stage to prep and chitchat with the other finalists. For a brief history lesson with me and furry dance comps, in the past I've always been a nervous wreck. Being out there in front of a LOT of people, trying to not suck or look stupid, remember choreography, etc can be very daunting mentally. Which made some of my past performances suffer in my opinion. This year however, was completely different. I wasn't nervous at all. I was just happy to have made the cut out of the 40-50+ veteran category dancers. So that was a win for me alone. With that task behind me, I was able to have a lot more fun with this performance then I have EVER had in the past. This was hands down, my best performance to date. Everyone who was there could tell I was having an absolute blast on stage, to which i was. I was ecstatic out there, which gave me more energy and drive to give the best performance I could.

After I did my thing, this incredibly feeling of being on cloud 9 was washing over me. The crowd loved my performance, the Judges had some very humbling positive remarks as well as very helpful/accurate criticism, friend loved it, etc. It was such a great show overall, so hopefully everyone who was there had a blast watching. If I can keep the energy up, I'll definitely be in a lot more dance competitions in the future.

Hey everyone, I want to get get people's feedback on this possible idea I'm considering! :)

As most of you know, I bake alot. Ive made numerous kinds of cookies, that have gone over swimmingly. For those who went, i made 400+ cookies at FWA this year, and handed them out in fursuit to rave reviews. I want to see if it'd be viable to take "commissions" for home made cookies :) id make/bake cookies, and ship them out in batches to people who want them. Im just gathering opinions to see if this would be a possible idea people would be interested in. Please leave your feedback!

As the days go by, my trip back to California gets closer and closer :) Ill be heading back to visit family and friends in the sacramento/bay area. Will be there from April 17th (wed) through the 23rd (tuesday). I pretty much have my sleeping arrangements all in order except for one of the days. But I'll figure it out. Cant guarantee I'll get to see everyone i want to, but im hoping to get some kind big group gathering like i did before i left so that i can try and see as many people as possible. Any suggestions from you cali folk on what would be a good option for that? I was thinking maybe santa cruz beach boardwalk again, or maybe something in SF so people dont have to travel that far. Like Lunch/dinner at fisherman's wharf or something :)

at FWA this year, I came up with the fun idea of making a huge amount of cookies, and walking around the con handing them out to people who wanted them :) Id have a sign around my neck with what varieties I had, and a duffle bag over my shoulder to hold all the small baggies Id have of them in individual baggies, to keep them fresh.

Here's the varieties I plan to make

Chocolate Chip
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut
Peanut Butter (May or may not do chocolate chips in it. Might do both!)
Oatmeal Raisin
Snicker-doodle
Some kind of gluten free variety for those who cant have gluten (small demographic, but it may come up!)

today i turn 28. Woot n stuff.

i never understood why people make such a big deal about getting closer to 30, and on from there. Its really just a number. Doesnt define who you are. That being said, Im proud that I've grown another year. Getting more life experience and memories under the belt. But anyway, thanks to everyone who've given me birthday wishes already. You guys are the best, and mean the world to me.

Well, with this year about to be finished, here's a little recap of how mine went.

1.) started the year out by moving from Columbus Ohio, down to Valdosta Georgia. Im not use to small cities, so its not overly enjoyable down here in the dirty souf, but im making due.

2.) Got in a car accident at the beginning of the year. Im perfectly fine. Didnt sustain any injuries. Car on the other hand was totaled. I had grown attached to my 01 hyundai accent. Have been through alot with that car, and it was completely paid off too... Oh well though. Just glad I wasnt hurt

3.) Got a new car! :D its a spiffy 09 ford focus, that got even better mileage then my hyundai did. I dont like having a car payment again, but im very happy with this car

4.) Took me 3 months to get it, but I have steady employment. I work at a callcenter for a popular satellite tv service. I answer phones all day for people who want to order equipment, movie channels, and bitch at me cause their bill is too high and they dont want to do anything on their part to lower it. Just want discounts upon discounts. I recently got promoted to a Supervisor, so now I get to the people who dont want to take No for answer when they cant get something for free. Only to tell them, No again!. I swear....Ive never seen greed on this kind of level. Its absolutely ridiculous how greedy/angry/entitled these people are who call in wanting more equipment, all kinds of discounts, and various other things for free, all because they have the service. No other company can you do that and not get laughed out the door. but anyway, thats another tyraid entirely :P

5.) My money situation is slowly growing better. Im managing to put abit away each much, as shitty as my pay is. So, thats a plus i spose.

6.) im really looking forward to my trip back to Cali in April of 2013. I miss my friends and family back there.

7.) Ive made numerous new friends, and managed to deepen the bond with some of the ones Ive had. I love you guys more then words can express. Y'all keep me going no matter how much my head wants to beat me up :)


Those are most of the major events that have happened this year. My life is pretty dull for the most part XD

With 2013 rapidly approaching, I do have a few goals in mind that I'd like to try and accomplish:

1.) Getting my Credit Card debt back down would be nice. Its by no means unbearable, its just not in a place where im happy with it

2.) Get version 2 of my Fursuit! my current suit is nearing its 8th year in existence, and needs a revamp. Graciously,  kodipup is doing the remake, as he was the original creator of my suit. There's a few pics of the remake on my profile now, so the rest of the body suit will follow in the early part of 2013. Cant wait :D

3.) Try and get back in to school. Ive been trying to do this for years, just havent had an opportunity/money to do so. Hopefully ill finally get the chance to in 2013.

4.) travel more. There's so many people i want to visit/hang out with again. I gotta try and make time to see some of them, since y'all make me the happiest, when I'm around the friends i love and care about.

5.) Learn more cooking/baking recipes. Ive become half decent around the kitchen, if i do say so myself. Everyone I've cooked for has loved the stuff I've made. Which is a nice feeling. I wanna learn to do more elaborate dishes, and see how they come out :)

Thats pretty much all i can come up with at the moment, so ill stop boring all of you with my driveling nonsense ;) Here's to another year in the books, and a new one about to start! Cheers guys <3

Just wanted to give people a quick update on whats goin on, since i usually don't post a whole lot of journals.


Work: I Recently got promoted to a Resolution Specialist at work. For those who don't know, I work at a call center for a popular satellite tv company. Anyway, about 15 people applied for the position, only 5 were hired, and I managed to score higher then anyone else applying. By a good margin too. So that was pretty fun to hear. Didn't think i did THAT well with the test/interview. The requirements of the new position, I'm pretty familiar with anyway, so it shouldn't be too hard to do. I'm basically taking supervisor calls now, and helping out the other agents if they have issues they don't know how to handle, or the customer wants more stuff that the agents cant give them. Ill have more pull with the system and have more offers available then they would. The main goal is to try and deescalate the possible supervisor calls. If it cant be, then I take them. I'm still doing my normal time on the phone as well, but that's 3 hours off of the normal phone time i usually have, trying to help out the other agents in this new position. I fit right in with the other Sups as well, so that's also a plus. Yay more things i can BS on my resume ;) Another HUGE plus for me, is that i have a set and stable schedule now. before, my schedule and starting times would change week to wee, as well as my days off. Now, im working a set 9-530, and i have Wednesday and Saturday off each week. Which makes traveling easier, cause ill have more time to switch shifts in advance, instead of waiting a week before hand to do so. Big plus for me, cause Valdosta Georgia is about as fun as watching paint dry. I still hate this job with a passion, dealing with all the greedy idiots who call in bewildered why they have to pay for things and cant get it for free *eyerolls*. But at least I'm moving up the ladder. Next position above mine is Team Leader. Ill probably apply for that one as well, once I qualify.


Home Life: Nothing much to report here. Rarely anything exciting happens in this town. To give you a scale of how enthralling this town is, when a new Olive Garden opened, people shit themselves with excitement :P anyway, I'm making due with what i have around here, so things will be fine. I'll make it work like I've always done. Definitely don't want to be here longer then i absolutely have to though. I dont do well in small towns XD

Turkey Day: with it being that oh so fun gluttonous holiday, time to give things for a few things. First and for most, the obvious. I'm still thankful for my loving family. While i hardly see them anymore living on the other side of the US, I still love them. Right behind them, come all you guys. My awesome friends. While some have come and gone, I'm still eternally grateful for those of you who've kept me in your lives, and brighten up mine. At times i may not have been the most fun person to be around, with my mood swings now and again, but i just want to say thank you for sticking by my side and giving me all the unconditional love and support over the years. I wouldn't be here without you guys, so I very much appreciate it. Y'all mean more to me then words could every express. Overall though, my life isn't too bad. Got all the basic stuff i need to survive and be for the most part not miserable. Decent paying job, a car that runs well, a roof over my head, and plenty of friends scattered all over to keep my spirits goin. Nothing major to really complain about.

Future traveling: For those curious, i plan on hitting up FWA 2013 and MFF2013, as well as making a trip back to Cali for a week or so in April 2013 as well. Mostly to see family, and see all the friends i miss dearly in the SF/SJ area. Cant wait to see you guys.

Hey everyone. I have not posted in awhile, so i figured I'd catch everyone up on whats been goin on in my life for those who are interested.


Honestly, not much has gone on XD. Work is annoying as hell, but its a job, so i wont complain too much. I'm finally starting to make some more money, so that's a plus. Will be able to make some headway on various debts. Living with the boyfriend has been amazing, as i had expected. Just sucks that the location blows. I don;t do well in small towns. Oh well! I'll deal. the BF and i adopted a roommate from Florida. He's a fur as well, and we enjoy living with him. Gotta love those not typical furs that are like one in a million out there, right?. Anyway, i do get to go up to Atlanta when work allows me a rare weekend off, which is nice. Since that's unfortunately the closest groups of friends around here.

other then that, I've gotten alot better at cooking these days. Perfected making cookies of a few varieties, so I've been enjoying doing that. especially since the BF has a sweet tooth. With finances finally getting on track, ill be making headway in some debts that have been lingering, and then ill be able to travel abit more. I'm planning on hitting FurFright this year, as well as making a trip back to Cali in April of next with the bf in tow. Will be introducing him to the Family and all that, as well as all my friends in the bay who i sorely miss.

So, thats kind of about it on my end. back to whatever yall were doin. Sorry to bore you with my easy goin/boring life ;)

So, i went ahead and threw myself into the dance comp for this year at FWA. There was about 35-40 who tried out, over Friday and Saturday. I some how managed to make the roster for the 21 act competition. I was rather shocked i made it, since there were so many stellar dancers this year. Unfortunately i somehow managed to tweak my knee abit too, which was uncomfortable. I had to take it a little easy during the actual competition, as to not further damage whatever i did. Anyhow, i went out there and did my thing. I got some nice applause, which i was happy about. Im just glad my little routine was enjoyed by the audience. My ability is nowhere near the kings of the dance competitions like V, Phor, Skroy, Mangusu, etc etc, but i went out and had a good time :). Usually i psych myself out cause im in the mindset of trying to place. But a dear friend talked to me last year after and said to just go out and have fun, and not view it as a competition. With that mindset acquired this year, i had alot more fun, as nerve wracking as it always is! anyway, enough of me rambling. For those who werent there, he's my routine from this year.

After much hassle and constant runarounds, my legs can take a rest. I finally have a new goddamn vehicle :P

for those of you who didnt know, i was in a low impact accident new years day of this year. Im fine, and the boyfriend is just fine. Unfortunately, my poor little hyundai accent didnt survive. That car has been through so many roadtrips. Got me across the country safely.

Anywhoooooz, i now am the owner of a blue 09 Ford Focus :) its a spiffy little car, which gets better MPG then my hyundai did! so im rather happy about that.

Other then that, nothing much is new on my end. Work is work, FWA is coming up which should be fun. Albeit a short weekend.
