I never expected myself to get as deep into the art community as I have, but in doing so I have met some of my favourite people (genuinely). Twitter has been great but who knows if it will last through the Elon era, Deviantart is obviously a no go. So weighing up my options I decided to try settle in here, yes it's technically a furry website, but as a platform it has a LOT going for it, the site is simple yet you can do so much with it, like even being able to use markdown in journals and posts just adds so much to making things your own! (if we ignore the adverts, some can be a little suggestive or just distracting but hey it keeps this place alive)

from here on I shall throw some rambles into this journal

On that note, Journals are GREAT, it's like tweeting but with no character limit, I can just say my mind without fear of annoying people too much.
I just finished setting up my user page and while simple I am pretty happy with it. big thanks to Uluri for having useful pages to help figure out markdown again.
I did all this sat on my couch with a wireless keyboard on my tv, I find it just comfortable rather than sitting at a desk.
Also I never expected an artist I lurked around for YEARS to spend an hour drawing a silly art piece with my dumb lil demon kit in it, maybe one day I can talk to them more.
I think I'll start posting story segments here of kits lore and use the scraps to post my attempts at improving at art, I have a long way to go but I do enjoy the few times I do actually draw, I'm just incredibly lazy haha.
