All these entities took actions in part to "save the children", and I hope most of us know how those actions had ramifications. It's a lot easier to justify actions behind the idea of protecting children than it is for whatever the real goal is; whether it be bigotry, control, or monetary. It's a tired excuse to act out against minority communities to save this proverbial "child".

I truly hope FA policy really saves so many children, it'll be like, so amazing.

Its been a while, and I've been kind of just monitoring my inbox on here and enjoying some works by talented people. I've got a ton of artwork to upload on IB soon, and I swear I will someday when... I.... stop being lazy about it o.o

Also, my birthday is this Friday o.o Crazy, right?

As you may already know if you talk to me regularly, I was recently suspended for a whole week from this website. Three images were removed for “depiction of minors”, and the appeals team was really unimpressive - it took them several days just to tell me “We’re right, you’re wrong, kay bye”. I didn’t really care about the removal of the submissions, but being thrown into a week suspension over images that have been uploaded on FA for about 5 years just rubbed me the wrong way. Between this, and the total lack of technological advancement of the platform, I’ve made the decision to remove all my submissions from the site. It truly is a pain to upload between here and my other main account on InkBunny, and I really don’t want to experience this undue stress over whatever else the clowns on this site will deem a depiction of a “minor”. I’ll admit that Neo is often drawn really chibi/cutesy, but no minor has a penis like that, and I’ve told people over and over again that he’s supposed to be of sexual maturity.

I was tempted to just delete the account altogether, but I’ll admit that there’s creators on this site that aren’t on IB, and I still want to be able to watch the awesome talent on this site. I also have some fond memories ever since my transition from Furotica Addicts Anonymous to FurAffinity back in 2006. I still remember when my poetry from National Poetry Writing Month would get comments and reads, as did my erotic fan fiction. I really found some awesome folks through the community here as well, so this decision is one that makes me pretty fucking sad - I’ll be honest.

But I’m not going to be treated like a child (ironic) over some “admin” snooping over submissions from years ago to punish me today. There’s plenty of other submissions on this site that would violate the extremely vague charge against me; and I’m sure the people working this site are doing it for pennies from the likes of IMVU ad clicks or whatever, but I feel like if a submission is actually old, and the “behavior” hasn’t been consistent in recent time, just delete the fucking images and move on. Why push your user base away from you without a chance to rectify? This is what YouTube creators must feel like when they get copyright stricken… I’m just glad my livelihood doesn’t depend on being present on all these platforms.

I’m sure most people won’t even read this journal, though I do promise this will be the last thing I submit to this site, so I wanted to express my full feelings and apologize for anyone who wanted to see more from this account and doesn’t want to find me on InkBunny (same username as here). I may also start using my Twitter account more, though I have mixed feelings about doing that since Twitter is a whole other bag of worms…

PS: What's funny, I was deleting all my submissions and I noticed that the images I got banned for were uploaded twice, and the moderator only cited me for the ones that linked to an IB account. So it appears that it's been a witch hunt for references to IB creators.

I've been realizing something...

There's literally a dozen or more pictures of Neo out there that don't live on this page!

I'm starting a new project to hunt them all down and start uploading them here and IB! So expect a wave of new art sometime soon!

I just want to say that I finally found a way to confront the situation mentioned in the last journal, and I got my refund.

I have to admit, I feel bad for letting it get this bad for myself. It became this thing where I told myself I was okay with not knowing what happened and losing the money... But that was clearly a lie to myself to try and be kind.

We all probably do things like this to ourselves for the sake of not confronting a situation that needs resolution; or maybe we trust that the other party will come forth. But I need to learn that I don't always know the situation, and to be more verbal about my needs as an individual...

I'd be lying if I said I didn't doubt resolution. I discovered that I had attempted this same confrontation with them 5 years ago (where does the time go?), and it met the same fate. But he made good on it this time, and that's really admirable considering from his perspective, he was probably very upset to do so.

I'm thankful overall. It's a bittersweet resolution, but at least I'm not going to get my mind in a knot over it anymore.

There's been a certain somewhat popufur artist whom I used to be really good friends with who has kind of decided one day to just drop me from their life. This happened a few years ago, and it felt really odd because it happened after I had visited them in person; which seemed like a good visit.

What really signaled the end of our friendship was when I commissioned him to draw me a picture that was fairly expensive; to the tune of $70 or so. I'm a fairly patient person and there was a lot going on in my life with college and everything. Next thing I knew almost a year went by and silence...

I approached him and asked about the commission, and he stated it was too difficult. I couldn't help but notice the litany of other works he had completed, so I offered to just change the commission to something simpler. He refused. I then asked if I could get a refund, he refused as well. I never talked to him again because I couldn't fathom how someone could just steal money from someone they used to talk to daily.

This was several years ago, and sometimes I just still think of it and get pretty upset. What did I do to be worth less than $70 to this person? Especially when he never approached me about anything... It's really clawing at my psyche. I like to think I'm a good person, but maybe I'm not to this guy? I sometimes wonder if I should march up to him and demand an answer, but I also don't want to just upset him for no reason if he's never going to tell me.

Hello my adoring watchers~ Or whoever decides to read this journal. I'm posting this because I'm honestly curious of those of you out there that actually read these things; but also maybe those of you who want to read more things by me.

I have still been getting favorites for my "S is for Suffering" story I wrote years ago, and I've been musing about starting up another writing heavy project, maybe one that becomes a VN or game that I would build.

But to these ideas, I always find myself going "with what time?" As I sit in front of YouTube watching hours of random videos... I miss the drive I used to have!!

So, to those who want to see more of that side of this account, I hope to give you something someday again. Maybe I'll try my hand at doing writing prompts in April for National Poetry Writing Month~ Maybe I'll get myself motivated to do that Pokemon Mystery Dungeon smut idea I've been marinating in my mind for years~ Maybe I'll write another journal in a year explaining why I haven't!!

Also, if you're still with me here, and you've been wanting to chat with me on a more regular basis, I have been most active on Telegram, but realize that I also am not that active on it either (I really like the stickers ^^; ) A lot of my focus has been on either things that make me happy, or things that further my career goals (with varying success in both regards).

I don't normally do this because it's a bit awful, but I have come across some hard times due to my job not taking me on during the Winter Break. This lose of income has created a negative balance, and I'm trying to dodge overdraft fees and all that nasty stuff.

For this reason, I'm just grabbing straws to see if anybody wants to lend me some cash through paypal. I am due for some money for going to school, and I'd pay it back then (Late January).

I don't expect much, but my goal is $200. If you guys can help, I'd love it. Otherwise, I still love you all~

I wanted to write an update as to what I've been up to and what's been going on (for those who care to read these things). I'm currently enduring 2 summer classes in Computer Science, and I also got hired as an intern at a local company doing computing things - such as setting up new machines, looking into existing systems and trying to troubleshoot problems, and eventually some web programming.

What this means is that Monday thru Friday, I am away from home anywhere between 8 to 12 hours, and of the remainder I need to spend doing projects that can take up to 40 hours of man work or more. Needless to say, I'm behind already :# and really really tired...

But! It's only for another 3-5 weeks (one class is 3, the other 5) and it'll all be over again. I'll have a nice month of just working to look forward to after that, hopefully within that time I can work on my own projects, such as my Social Media manipulation game # and possibly further my LGBT Studies Capstone thesis on Queer Game Design. I'd also love to actually write something naughty as well... Or maybe even do some poetry - or learn to play piano decently again!

There's just so much to do. I have so many great friends out there, and I feel bad whenever I can't talk to them all. Even right now, I should be coding up this project, but I needed to let people know what's going on.
