Hi guys! Im blown away by the amount of intrest ive been receiving regarding my creation the Bal'Kar. Especially over the last few weeks.
I find it hard to reply to so many notes. Considering my timezone....being an Australian and all. And the fact i work 50 hours a week.

Im gonna get home tonight and start responding. For those interestwd in Becoming Bal'Kar...be honored to sit down with you all and guide you through the making of your Inner Bal'Kar.

It is a Giant ass comic, and i have found it difficult to find the time to upload it due to work.
Not to mention my big hesitation to post such a graphic thing.

I apoligise to all those that watch me for other reasons.
I'm sure some of you might be Quite Surprised id be into such things.
It is something ive only recently been opened up to and i kinda wanted to take a different approach to it.
By making you feel like an ass, putting you into that kind of role would then make it seem normal and "okay"
even though its still is pretty graphic.

ok so ive come to the realization im mot being true to myself when it comes to things and Satisfying a few different people.
Not to long ago i made an alteration to the Bal'Kar race and said they can be different colors to satisfy others. This was not part of my origonal plan so i am reverting back to the way I'd like my creation to be. We are All Green, we share the same eyes and DNA!
We are ONE!

Being a big commissioner myself. Nothing makes me as a commissioner feel more happy when an artists is friendly and talkative back to them. When they actually seem interested in what they are about to draw, its really pleasing to hear.

As an artist, Nothing makes you feel More happy when your Commissioner gives you feedback on your work, possibly giving you some Reasonable KIND Critique in the process. THEN! the amount of happiness you get from Regulars or Repeat Commissioner. It is Then you know they truly love what you do for them.

There Are those That ruin the fun both commissioner and artist alike. It does stagger me how disconnected some people can be when they talk to other people via the internet. Artists treating commissioners as inferiors, and commissioners treating Artists as slaves. They feel that because they are anonymous that they can say things they wouldn't dream of saying to their faces because there are no repercussions. Well...There is... Everyone behind whatever title they may have in a Deal has feelings and if either party has had their feelings and pride shoved to the side...your not going to have a good time.
Art is a "Want" not a "need" And "Wants" should be a Fun part in our Recreational lives... Just like Games, Movies and Music.
These recreational things are the Building blocks that make us who we are.

An art Commission is a joint effort by both parties to make sure dealings are done smoothly.
A commissioner who is assertive, shows excitement and passion is extremely important. Commissioners who demand, hassle, disappear and complain, is gonna kill the mood.
An artist with a good turnover or some kind of Physical Schedule is also important. Artists that procrastinate (Despite what excuse they may use, That could even be the most severe kind like "Family member passing away") It will generally kill the mood.
These positives and negatives work into each other. An artist that procrastinates is generally going to trigger the commissioner to hassle you.
A commissioner who demands will generally cause the artist to procrastinate. There is a delicate balance between the two.
Establishing a relationship or some kind of connection during the dealing is definitely a must. It brings out the best in all of us!

The worst kind of Artist is "I'm open for Commissions, Great! pay $X amount to me, .......silence........, 6 - 12 months later "Ohh excuses excuses", heres your half Assed commission, no edits, Thankyou for Commissioning me.

The Worst kind of Commissioner is "can i enter your closed commission Queue and draw "This for me?" "you are taking too long! I had high hopes for you last week! but now you have ruined my life!"

Commissioners need to understand that Artists have lives too and they cannot dedicate every hour of their own time around you.
Artists need to understand that there are people waiting patiently at first for you to do something for them and you cant keep beating around the bush. or they ARE going to get angry.

There are Bad Commissioners....
There are also Bad Artists.......
This will never change despite how much we want it to.
Both Play a crucial roll in a great, happy and smooth Commission. And 90% of the time everyone comes out of it happy.

The way an artist deals with its Commissioner generally sets their mood pretty Quick, Artists are also most likely doing this to keep a roof over their head...and is essentially their job...but jobs mean Customers....and customer satisfaction is always the number 1 priority. So they have a bigger responsibility than the commissioner. But it can all work out so everyone gets along.

Ok so honestly....Ive been extremely nervous about posting this comic for obvious reasons.
Combined with the Lack of Comments so far. Its made me extremely skeptical about it.
Thats just the way Ive been seeing it and i cant help but think like that.

I haven't been on Ark: Survival Evolved much this week Due to work and me just overall being too busy.
Logged on today to see the new updates, Biomes Ect......
My house.....EVERYTHING i owned....hundreds of eggs....kibble...Narcotics, Tons of resources......Gone.....
All...Gone.....replaced with the new swamp Biome....

Now...i know its an Alpha. and i was expecting something like this to happen eventually....but soo soon? and with little warning?
I'm not in anyway Whinging about this...but its Extremely upsetting and demoralizing to see 500+ hours of game time and progression go down the toilet like its nothing.
I wont be Returning to Ark. From a mental standpoint, i cant see me picking myself up after this loss.
Once the Game is released, i may return. And hopefully play with a bunch of you.

The Bal'Kars Primary Weapon!

This would be better known to people as a "Particle Beam" Emitted from the mouth of the creature.

The Beam may be separated from their common surrounding. This can be accomplished by thermionic emission or arc discharge From the Mouth. The mouth Focuses Positrons into an energy ball. The positrons are exhaled from its breath and can be seen as a green mist that billows from the mouth and Naturally collect and condense into a ball in front of the monsters face where The Bal'Kar Can take aim, the Tentacles on the head then Release Electrons into the ball that thrusts it forward into a beam Traveling near the speed of light.
Charged beams may be further accelerated by use of high resonant from the Controllers Psywaves.

It does not hurt to fire the beam but they Feel Incredibly Drained after use...it feels like their guts have been sucked out (in a painless way) and the recovery time can range from 1 - 3 mins.

The general idea of such weaponry is to hit a target object with a stream of accelerated particles with high kinetic energy, which is then transferred to the molecules of the target Where they are ripped apart and then join in the continuation of the beams acceleration through the target. The power needed to project such a high-powered beam of this kind surpasses the production capabilities of any standard battlefield powerplant within the hive. So the Bal'Kar must gradually gather the energy atmospherically within the tips of the Head tentacles which act like high powered battery's. Charging generally takes a few days. You can normally tell when they are charged, because they glow brightly, exerting electrical pressure.

Yanno, when we say "Monsters" I think everyone is conditioned to go "Bad Guys" or "Thing that i should be very comfortable to loathe"

But what i really try to show is how remarkable an animal it can be!
There really isn't a Moral Judgement passed on them most of the time. But we do have... Yanno, maybe into relation of King Kong, Or the New Godzilla movie where we kinda see a good side of these magnificent beasts. You cant help but have some degree of pathos for them when they are being taken down purely because of what they are! Misjudged purely because they are different! And THATS what i want people to see in my monsters!
Sure! most of the time monsters are hurting people or taking things away from them, but....what do they see it as?
And whats to say "We Humans" haven't taken away things from them?!

Ive loved monsters since i was young and i always wanted to see some kind of moral equity between monster and human, or in this case furry!
With the Bal'Kar in particular, while its very much on the kinky side, Ive tried to get you all to sorta delve into its own ruleset to see the way it works, see yourself as the "Good Guy" from its own standpoint. I think its a really good way to get people to understand this monster, or ANY monster a whole lot more.
It has been SUPER fun making the Bal'kar and what he entails. To give him all this logic kinda brings back those childhood magic moments When your imagination runs wild!. Very few people get to have that kind of "Indulgence" when it comes to creating such a monster. Its almost like an Antidepressant! these days! I work really hard, life beating me down with all of its stresses, but i can just come home and indulge myself in monster fantasy! It's something i dont think I'll ever grow out of!

Maybe one day my passion for monsters will take me places, as a hobby right now, I'd love to be able to take this further and develop a career out of designing tho most amazing creatures! With the most in-depth lore! Maybe in games! or Movies!...i dunno! its like a far of dream for me!
Most of the time adult stuff is generally looked away from or shunned when it comes to the professional world, so seeing the Bal'Kar being successful in that world seems almost impossible as it is a creature mostly based around sex and lust!
But i think its the best way to show off a successful monster!

We can all sit here and say sex is meant to be a beautiful thing! IT IS! But it can also be Gross and Frightening at the same time!
Kinda like how monsters are! Monsters are meant to be Gross and frightening! But Monsters can also be a beautiful amazing thing!
Monsters and Sex!, they kinda Both work into each other both ways, which gives me heaps of room for possibilities. Seriously! The Sky is the limit!
Lets be honest! Even in the professional world! Everyone has a libido! So it seems like a very legit way to get a monster to be what it is though these sexual acts! Infestation, transformation, conversion of ones self through the means of being a sexual deviant monster is perfect!

On the weekends its between 12am - 8am (Your Friday and Saturday)
After 8am, I'm Generally Sleeping
10 hours before 4am, I'm Generally working and am slow to reply

The Best time to get hold of me weekdays if you live in Europe is between 11am- 3pm YOUR TIME
That is the time I'm 100% not at work or sleeping...my prime time basically.
On the weekends its between 7am - 3pm (Your Friday and Saturday)
After 3pm, I'm Generally Sleeping
10 hours before 11am, I'm Generally working and am slow to reply

All other times I'm either asleep, or at work so there is slow replies...if at all any.
So as you can see, My prime time Is definitely Awkward times for you guys overseas from me.
And believe, me it Frustrates the living crap outta me.
I'm Sorry if it seems I'm not social if people think that at all...its just bad time zones on the most part.
