I posted one thing over a year ago and then disappeared again 9_9 I mostly just play games these days and avoid the art world because it's scary. I got many requests in my time off XD But I'm not going to do requests or commissions anymore sorry :(
How have you all been? I miss hanging out in the furry community. I think I'm going to expand to some other sites like SoFurry and Weasyl (I already have a Weasyl account but I never use it, but maybe I'll try to keep up on it).
Any good arts I should check out?
I was working on that comic before... I don't know how well I can get back into it. I don't even remember the characters from that game that well XD I guess I could replay.

Posted 3 years agoPersonally I liked the direct a lot and there were a lot of really exciting things. But my favorite and most anticipated part was actually that we're getting a new Theatrhythm game! I love those games so much <3

Posted 3 years agoIs anyone playing this game? No spoilers please. But I just started it last night. I swear I played like 2 hours and I got into 1 battle lol. I'm so happy one of the main characters has Kunemon :D Though I haven't gotten to that part yet, just saw it in the opening cinematic ^^

Posted 3 years agoHey guys, it's been like 2 years!! So many things have happened. I had a bit of a mental health crisis that lead to me being offline for a while, but everything is good now. I'm also legally disabled now because of it. I've been good for a little while now, just slow on getting back to everything I've been up to online. I kinda felt bad for suddenly disappearing and then focused more on myself and not on getting back to everything online.
I'm not going to do commissions or anything anymore, and probably won't be drawing that much in general. I've tried to draw a bit in the last month and it's so frustrating I couldn't keep up with it. But maybe more in the future. If I do draw anything, it will be for me personally so please don't be upset with me for not doing commissions and gifts and stuff anymore. Maybe I will get back into it eventually, but not for now.
How have you all been these last two years??? Sorry for disappearing so long. I'll hopefully try to be online more soon. I want to connect with you guys again!

Posted 5 years agoSo, I posted before about my mate's health stuff going on. I don't want to go into it too much more but now they're thinking he did indeed have a stroke. He had a brain MRI on Monday but we still haven't heard back about it. As for his vision, it's still coming and going a lot. He can't do a lot of things on his own now becuase he can't see so I'm having to do a lot for him. And it's of course been making him depressed.
Myself I have bipolar and it's really thrown me into a depressive episode, but my anxiety is keeping me going. It's been rough :\ I'm not so worried about myself as I've been dealing with bipolar forever but just explaining why I haven't been around much. I'm very worried about my mate though :( If it was a stroke, that means he's at risk of more strokes. And still can't explain why he can't see, and I don't want his vision loss to be permanent. When it first happened he said to me "I can't see your face" and we both cried. X_X He can at least see my face now though, if I get up close to him.

Posted 5 years agoHow have you guys been? I've been having adventures. I was a bit sick for a little, but I'm OK. Getting sick during these times though is kind of terrifying. You have to be really careful.
Then my mate lost his eyesight suddenly and had head pains. So we thought maybe he had a stroke. I took him to the ER but they couldn't figure out what was wrong. His vision keeps coming and going, so we're thinking it's something wrong with his eyes. So he's going to go see a doctor for that soon. But with the whole virus situation, the waits are still kinda long. It may be months before he can get any help, and we're worried that the longer we wait, the bigger chance that this might become permanent.
So it's been a trip, taking care of him. Part of it is because he can't see so I have to help him out with everything, but then another part is that he is distraught over not being able to see. It's been a really hard process for us both.
His vision still comes and goes so we're pretty confident it's not completely gone yet, but we still have no idea what's causing it... It's a little scary. The doctors at the ER suggested it could be a blood pressure thing. Hopefully it is just that and we can get it sorted out...?

Murder by Numbers CLEAR (spoiler-free)
Posted 5 years agoI cleared Murder by Numbers! I got all S rank on all the chapters, too! I still have to do all the SCOUT Memories to 100% the game, but I've seen all the main story (and so everything with Detective Cross). And I have feels about the ending. I don't want to spoil anything though for those that want to play it :)
If you haven't played it, it's definitely worth a go if you like puzzles and cute characters. Took me about 22 hours to finish and I'm fairly good with picross. Plus of course there's stache daddy Cross :3
Without spoiling anything, I can say that the idea that I had for chapter 4 of my comic was NOT obstructed by the final bits of story. If anything, it supported the idea a little dehehe. Let's hope a sequel doesn't come along and squash that dream (because it likely would XD).
I've started page 4 of my comic and I think I'm going to stick to 6 pages per chapter after all.

Direction of my comic
Posted 5 years agoI had planned out 6 pages per chapter (4 chapters) of my comic, but now I'm starting to rethink it. I'm not liking the pacing I originally have had planned for the first chapter, and I'm kinda wanting to extend it to something like 8 pages. But then I think it will be way too long. So I thought maybe just two chapters with 8 pages. But then I'm cutting out content I want to include. What do I do? XD
I think most likely I will stick to the 6-page chapters in the end... since I already had that plan and have a basic layout of how the last 3 pages of chapter 1 are going to go. Even though I'd like to extend it a little, there's only so much you can really do with the idea XD I'd really be stretching it to get another 2 pages in there. >_>;
I guess I could just make each chapter "as many pages as it takes" ... that would be the sound thing to do, but I like my PARALLELISM lmao.
Oh well, I'll think about it for a little bit before continuing. I don't have the energy to draw today anyway =m=

May raffle ideas? New computer, my weaknesses again
Posted 5 years agoIt's almost May time, which means NEW RAFFLE. What kind of theme should it have? Or maybe just no theme :) Animal Crossing is a bit over (at least, I'm a little burned out on it) so not another one of those :P Maybe a mustache raffle lmao.
Also, I'm getting a new computer~~~ I've had this one for like 10-11 years and it's really crapping out on me. So I used my government stimulus check to order a new one, and a 1TB hard drive... will be good for having lots of video and art projects saved at once. I also got some new ear buds =w= Becuase mine are broken (the right one barely plays sound anymore). I know I should save money but the opportunity to upgrade my computer will probably only come this one time ._. If we get more stimulus things I'll just save it all.
Also I've been paying attention to my weaknesses more. Not a "wah wah I'm bad" type, but looking for places I need to improve. I've noticed that I draw very 'stiff' poses. I'm not good at exaggerating features and dynamics of the scene to make things look more interesting. Part of it is probably because I use photographs of humans as reference for bodies and stuff, and I'm afraid to differ too much from the shape of the body in the photo. So I need to try branching out a bit more.
Also I'm just bad at proportions in general lol. I need to study it more.

Posted 5 years agoSo I'm considering making a Patreon as I need more predictable income. I know Patreon isn't that reliable for that since people can come and go, but at least I can have a general idea.
But I'm wondering how to structure it.
I do NOT want to put any art behind a paywall, having certain art or versions available to only Patreon viewers. I don't think that's fair to people who can't or simply don't want to pay. My art is for everyeone who wants to see it.
So what are some good ideas for incentives to subscribe?
I was thinking of eventually doing maybe subscriber-only streaming (part of the reason I want to do a patreon is to get enough income to be able to afford better internet so I can stream again), polls and suggestions, free monthly requests, maybe a private discord where I share WIPs and get suggestions... but I'm not good at thinking of this kind of stuff, so what kind of stuff do you guys see other people doing that you like? Or anything you might want to see yourself?

Messy vs Clean versions (NSFW talk)
Posted 5 years agoSo it's very common for people to make messy and clean versions of their naughty arts. But I was wondering... am I the only person who doesn't really care for messy ones? I don't mind drawing a bit of mess in mine but 99% of the time the entire picture is smothered in cum drawings it's like... what even is that XD Do people like cum so much? It's really strange to me hahaha. I feel like the cum just covers up all the other nice stuff to look at and details. Most of the time it's just ALL OVER THE PLACE for no reason, too.
Then I was thinking... maybe people make clean version because they want to be able to show off the actual artwork, since so much of it gets covered up. But they're still doing it with the mindset that the cum version is the 'finished' version and what is meant to be viewed/enjoyed in the end. Or something. IDK.
The main reason I do both versions is that I do the 'mess' usually on a different layer so it's easy to make both versions anyway. But I also like the look of the non-messy version. I also do much more minimal mess, which I like mess to that extent. I'm fine with realistic levels of fluids. But for some reason I can't get into cum slathered all over everything and everyone. It just doesn't look appealing to me. Kind of a turn-off actually.
Am I the only person who thinks like this though...? Does just everyone love cum everywhere except for me? XD I feel strange that so much art is like this but I find it unappealing. It's not just limited to one fetish or anything, and it's not like there's a separate hyper-mess fetish or something; it's like the standard of all sexual art it seems, to just cover everywhere with cum lmao.

Nuke Button Woes, Other fur/art sites?
Posted 5 years agoThis site is kinda weird. I wanted to write a journal entry but it wasn't letting me type in the boxes. I tried refreshing and coming back several times. Well after going to Twitter and coming back now it's letting me lol.
Also, Nuke button doesn't work well for me. It makes a little notification come up that says "Do you really want to nuke?" or whatever, but then it disappears before I can click OK D: I have to click it several times. I know I can just select all and then remove but I like nuking lol.
... That's really all. I didn't have much to write about today. I've been a bit busy so I don't have much to report on; haven't been drawing much or playing any games or anything. In Animal Crossing I basically just hit my rocks and shake my trees and I'm done lol. I started playing Persona 3 Portable but all I really did was get to the first save point and quit XD;

Posted 5 years agoSo there's that meme thing going around where you draw six little fanarts of six characters that people recommend. So recommend me some characters and I'll draw a little sketch of them in my "style" (like I have one XD) when I need warmups or whatever :3

Intimidated, Personal Projects?
Posted 5 years agoSo earlier I was talking about being invigorated by seeing good art that I can aspire to be like. Well I just saw a slew of really cool stuff far outside my expertise and knowledge that I wouldn't even begin knowing how to do, and it was a bit intimidating XD But at the same time, when I first started drawing, I thought stuff at my current level was way beyond me, too. So maybe I should look at it as another thing to aspire toward. Hmm.
Well, it's just a minor thing anyway~~
Even though I have a million commission projects going on right now, I am thinking about what I wanna do next for personal art projects when I have the time.
I'm thinking for coming illustrations... I really want to do something of Wilbur and Orville from Animal Crossing. And something of Avery too since I got him in my island~ I don't know if I want to do them cutesy like the game or do a more traditional humanshape character though...
I've also wanted to draw more female characters, since I mostly just draw old men and other male characters. Maybe I will do something of Whitney, who is also an islander in my game. She's the only hot lady on the island, everyone else is hyper cute like Tammy who I can't even imagine in a naughty way XD Oh I do have a weird thing for Sable, too.
uh I should really try to think about something other than Animal Crossing lol.
Speaking of NOT Animal Crossing, I also think for my next BIG project I want to do an entire comic; I want to do a fan comic about Detective Cross from Murder By Numbers. With a lot of my game crushes I tend to imagine them and want to draw them in submissive situations, but with Gerry I find I want him to be dominating hahaha. Also he's canonically straight and shows no interest in bi-curiosity, but even though I like to stick to canon where applicable, I guess I could imagine him being curious enough about a drag queen or something hahaha. Or maybe put him in a submissive position after all...
Well, if I did this comic it would probably be four separate one-shot scenes, one based on each chapter/case of the game. Which I still haven't finished the final case yet, so it might end up not coming to fruition (or changing drastically) if we learn something major about him in the final chapter that changes the way I look at him XD Not that I'm expecting anything like that per se, but you never know what can happen. Like I said, I like to stick to canon where I can, so if there's something about him that will make it impossible for me to view him as a horny old man then I'll probably not want to go with the idea :P
And that's my rambling for tonight. I only have like 30 minutes before I will go to bed, so I don't know what to do with myself. I don't really want to start anything since I'll have to stop soon XD I tend to get really involved in things and need to keep at them for a long time. I can't just do stuff for 30 minutes! Maybe I'll just doodle and listen to music or something. There's a band I recently discovered called Necry Talkie that I want to listen to more of.

Even though I have a million commission projects going on right now, I am thinking about what I wanna do next for personal art projects when I have the time.
I'm thinking for coming illustrations... I really want to do something of Wilbur and Orville from Animal Crossing. And something of Avery too since I got him in my island~ I don't know if I want to do them cutesy like the game or do a more traditional humanshape character though...
I've also wanted to draw more female characters, since I mostly just draw old men and other male characters. Maybe I will do something of Whitney, who is also an islander in my game. She's the only hot lady on the island, everyone else is hyper cute like Tammy who I can't even imagine in a naughty way XD Oh I do have a weird thing for Sable, too.
uh I should really try to think about something other than Animal Crossing lol.
Speaking of NOT Animal Crossing, I also think for my next BIG project I want to do an entire comic; I want to do a fan comic about Detective Cross from Murder By Numbers. With a lot of my game crushes I tend to imagine them and want to draw them in submissive situations, but with Gerry I find I want him to be dominating hahaha. Also he's canonically straight and shows no interest in bi-curiosity, but even though I like to stick to canon where applicable, I guess I could imagine him being curious enough about a drag queen or something hahaha. Or maybe put him in a submissive position after all...
Well, if I did this comic it would probably be four separate one-shot scenes, one based on each chapter/case of the game. Which I still haven't finished the final case yet, so it might end up not coming to fruition (or changing drastically) if we learn something major about him in the final chapter that changes the way I look at him XD Not that I'm expecting anything like that per se, but you never know what can happen. Like I said, I like to stick to canon where I can, so if there's something about him that will make it impossible for me to view him as a horny old man then I'll probably not want to go with the idea :P
And that's my rambling for tonight. I only have like 30 minutes before I will go to bed, so I don't know what to do with myself. I don't really want to start anything since I'll have to stop soon XD I tend to get really involved in things and need to keep at them for a long time. I can't just do stuff for 30 minutes! Thinner lines, Animal Crossing progress
Posted 5 years agoSo I draw with pretty thick lines. It's a style that I like, and it works great for more cartoony stuff, which I like drawing too. But I wanna try drawing some stuff with thinner lines, too. I think it's a little harder because there's more room for error? It's hard to explain. I don't want to just have everything be thin, though, there will be thickness in appropriate places. Just the base thickness I think I will tone down. I think it's as simple as using a smaller pen brush. Right now I use 15px brush and draw on a 5000x5000px canvas (then crop down). So if I keep the canvas size but decrease to maybe 8px brush, it could look nicer for when you want thinner lines. I used to draw with 12px or 10px brush regularly, but I liked the thicker lines so I moved up to 15px. Then I'll move it down to 10px to do more fine lines. But I think with 8px as the 'base' you could then move up to 15px when you needed thicker lines instead of everything being with the 15px brush to start with. Basically like using a bigger variety of pens IRL traditionally. IRL when I draw with pens I have 3 widths and they are all very thin; for thicker lines i just kind of 'fill them in' like coloring.

I finally got a 3-star island last night, and KK was invited to the island! I think this will unlock the ability to make paths which I am dying for. My island is going to come to life after this! Also I love KK so it will be fun to see him perform at the island.
Ooh, also Avery is moving in today~ I spent the other day 12 hours using Nook Miles Tickets over and over until I got a villager I wanted. I was determined to get a deep-voiced handsome guy, and on the 2nd to last attempt before I had to go to bed, I ran into Avery! He's my favorite eagle villager and one of my favorites in the game, and super hot too. So I was really happy with that. And now today I'll get to see him on my island for the first time~~~ Ah, I'm happy about it.
But first I gotta finish up drawing for today. ^^ I'm feeling motivated seeing some good arts on here and thinking "I will be able to do this eventually~" I think my lining is up to snuff, it's just a matter of learning colors and getting a bit better at proportions and posing and stuff. But I'm getting there, I'm getting there~~

Trudging along, Animal Crossing
Posted 5 years agoSorry for being so slow on arts; I have 5 things I'm working on and I don't work on one til it's done, but rather work bits on each. Plus I've been playing way too much Animal Crossing and not spending enough time working >_> I have a really addictive personality and can't put it down. So I've decided I will not play until after lunch time, and spend the whole morning drawing. And then draw more when I need to take breaks with the game.
I say that, but I can easily play without stopping for the entire afternoon and evening ;;; I must be more diligent about taking breaks~~
My Animal Crossing island is coming along great, though! I haven't put much effort into my house inside. My main room is just all the Bunny Day stuff, then I have my own little room off to the right side. The left and back rooms are pretty much nothing, just junk storage. My upstairs is a music room, but so far I just have a gong, drumset, alto sax, marimba, pan flute, and ocarina. I want to get a vibraphone really bad and some more wind instruments, though IDK what all instruments are even in the game XD
Outside I'm preparing for paths. I don't know when you get the ability to make paths, but I'm planting flowers around the 'paths' that will be there eventually. And of course working on building bridges and stuff. I think today I will make an incline up to my bamboo garden where I have an outdoor bathing spring and some other decorations.
That's about it. Gotta get back to working~~ How are you guys doing?

Ad, ACNH, and new bug character ideas
Posted 5 years agoMy ad is not performing very well. I think it's just that FA is so saturated with ads anymore that it's rare someone sees it, and even rarer if someone clicks. I'm only getting a few clicks per day. Thank you to everyone who found me through the ad and followed and stuck around <3
I actually haven't even gotten one commission from someone who came from the ad XD When I ran an ad before long ago, I got lots of commissions. But that was years ago. It must just be a different environment now.
Well, I'm not complaining so much. Well, maybe lamenting a little. I had hoped for a little more since I really wanted to get some things paid for. At this rate the ad will have been lost money. Maybe I can file it on my taxes as a business loss lol.
But fewer commissions means more time for Animal Crossing, right?? Speaking of, I want to draw a naughty picture of those two Dodos from the airport >_>
Also I have Prince on my island. I thought I wouldn't like him because he has a circle beard but he ended up being my favorite resident! He's so cute and funny. And he likes bugs so that's always awesome ^^
Oh and seeing orchid mantis in the game makes me want to make an orchid mantis character. Maybe even an alternate 'sona for myself. I don't think I have the heart to push aside my roach just yet :P But they're quite different so it would be to express two different sides of me. I also want to make a tarantula hawk character, too, thanks to
's suggestion. And I said before but I'm thinking of redesigning my roachie. He's so... different lol.

Animal Crossing tomorrow...? And mobile games
Posted 5 years agoSo I got some drawing done today, though not a lot to show for it. I worked on four different sketches and started inking one thing. I posted a WIP on twitter so you can see it there if you want. It's fun to work on but it's been very difficult. I'm working on a lot of difficult things recently so I apologize for being slow~
Tomorrow I'm supposed to get my Animal Crossing game. But... I'm not sure if I really will or not. That's the due date on Amazon but it still hasn't even shipped. It was originally due Wednesday the 25th, but then they changed it to the 24th. So I'm somewhat confident it's at least coming, but... I'm worried it won't show up tomorrow. I'm hoping that it just ships and arrives on the same day. I'm not sure why I've had to wait this long when other people got it on release day. Maybe because I ordered it so late...?
If it doesn't ship by tomorrow I will see if a local store has it and cancel my Amazon order and go pick it up somewhere. Even though we're in isolation right now. I will take a risk to go grab Animal Crossing. My mate is saying he is thinking of going to the grocery anyway so we could just make one trip of it. But we have more than enough groceries for like an entire month, so I'm hoping the game just comes tomorrow and I can convince him not to go out so we can stay isolated. He is 70 years old and I have asthma so we are at risk of having serious complications from the virus.
If my game does come tomorrow, I'm sorry, but my drawing time will be drastically reduced. I will be playing Animal Crossing nonstop I'm sure XD So I won't start drawing again until I need a break or things finally die down in the game hehe.
Is anyone else awaiting any mobile games coming soon? I like to play them right when they are released because you can kinda keep up with them without paying anything. Dragalia Lost was really good when it was new. But nothing has quite hit me like that since then. I'm looking forward to Disney Sorcerer's Arena, which sounds like it's coming any day now, and Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe, because it has characters from all the SaGa games. Though, I played the Japanese version, and it wasn't all that amazing. I'm also preregistered for that FFBE Tactics game but I'm not particularly looking forward to that one.
Of course, games like Animal Crossing are way more interesting, so I probably won't get into those if I'm still heavy into Animal Crossing when they are released. Disney Sorcerer's Arena should have already been out, honestly; the pre-reg has been going on forever! I will probably end up passing on it to play Animal Crossing instead. Romancing SaGa I will definitely check out since SaGa is my favorite series. But I don't know how seriously I'll end up playing it.
