Doctor visitations without insurance are crazy ($100 just for waiting 45 minutes passed the appointment time and then a 5 minute exam for essentially a permission slip) plus the cost of medicines itself are...**sigh**
Anyways, I hope my works can provide a sense of what I can do as an artist for you.
Sketches = $8 per character*
Inked = $12 per character*
Colored = $15 per character*
*Per Character Defined = Full body character, one set of clothing (if clothed), up to 2 handheld-sized objects and simple background.
Extra Props = $4 per prop
Extra Detailed Backgrounds = $6
Feel free to ask questions if/when you have them if the offers above are of interest to you.

Not On Messengers Much Lately
Posted 6 years agoHey folks. I know a lotta folks are used to see me in the respective chat messengers I use. Sorry for being so quiet.
Just been working on drawings and personal projects as well as things at home that require a lot of my attention. Nothing BAD-bad, just needed some time away from the "ding ding ding ding"s of chat and such. ^^;;;
But I shouldn't be away for too long. Just trying this whole "ambition" thing and seeing where it goes. Hopefully somewhere nice.

Needing Ideas To Draw

Stuff at home is tense with financial issues and instead of wallowing in the usual despair, I am taking this chance to try something different. Also feel like I need to prove to myself and the Watchers that I am worth getting commissions from. (and yes I know EXACTLY how shonen-protagonistic that sounds as I hear it out loud in my typing)
So just shoot out some random ideas towards me and I might draw em out for funsies.

Ten Years Gone...Ten Years Missed.
Posted 6 years agoToday marks the 10th anniversary of my late Uncles' passing. And truth be told...while it has been easier to bring him up in conversations without breaking into a sobbing wreck, I still miss him as much as ever.
Mentor, Best Friend, Teacher, Uncle, Curmudgeon, Dry Witted, Wise...he was all these things and more. We would laugh, we would argue...hell, we even cried at the ending of Crisis Core together!
He was also my first away-from-home roomie for 4 years...my first crush...my first rejection (chuckle)...my first "person"...the one I chose to stick with through thick and thin. Through the increasing disabilities, house repairs and days-old reheated meals.
What I miss most about him was his uncanny ability to tell me what I wanted to hear...while saying what I -needed- to hear all in the same sentence.
So for anyone reading this Journal, wanting to give condolences...pay this message forward. If you have someone you know in your life that, even at the angriest of times, they are in your thoughts every day...be it a moment or almost all the time...TELL them you love them.
Because you never know when that time comes when you lose that chance forever.

Drawing Practice! Send Your Ideas!!
Posted 7 years agoThis is sort of a Request Journal, in a sense. I have begun dabbling into drawing for myself and would like some random practice from folks who have characters or scenery they would like to see drawn.
It is, of course, not first come-first serve. The ones I pick will be random and whatever tickles my fancy to attempt. That being said, I WILL try the ones that are outside of my comfort zone so as to develop more skill and such. ^^

Became an Uncle, learned digital artistry and lost 100lbs! Sure, not the grandest of accomplishments but hey!! I like it!

Coloring for Kamen Rider/Super Sentai Toys!
Posted 8 years agoYeah, I am a bit of a Toku Nerd. I have been collecting slowly over the last 7 years or so in no small part to my Big Bro 
aruphonse and have come to really like to try and get SOMEthing DX from each years Kamen Rider and occasionally the Super Sentai (though less here since the toys eventually come to our shores in the States in the form of less painted Bandai America releases but some series like Tokumei Sentai Gobusters are not used here, shame to say)
So here is what I am offering since I know a lot of folks out here in the big world lack funds to buy directly, yet might be able to barter instead!
We haggle about the value of the items in question and I will color your linearts and sketches (as well as the value of shipping it my way) up to that value based from my current commissions page.
Ex: If say, you have a Kamen Rider Belt valued at around $80 or so, I will color any and all art you have the right to bestow permission to me to the best of my ability (Basic Flats and Simple Flat Shading) up to that value. So if you own a selection of clean lineart like this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24506478/ , for example...to get it colored and background added would run you only $30 (four simple characters, one prop+voice bubbles custom colored/tinted and a simple background) of that $80 credit.
This is a basic framework. If anyone out there is in a position to help out a fellow nerd with such, that would be great. I hope to hear from some of ya in the future, even if it is just to provide some helpful critiques.

What Needs Coloring?

Things here at home are getting tight and there is some risk of old fears we used to have back when we were at our lowest. There are practically NO jobs within driving distance of here so this is what I CAN do and I know I am good enough.

Just Learned of His Passing (Chester Bennington)

I did not expect to feel this strongly about him dying like that...or dying at all. But here I am, fighting back from crying for a dude I never met and barely looked up to save for when I was in high school.
And I guess that is what is really pushing and pulling me in all kinds of emotional directions. Him representing an era of my life where I was all about the Linkin Park and the Gundam and the Dragon Ball Z and all AMVs I could find before Youtube existed! A much much easier time...
*sigh* I won't get into the circumstances of his demise suffice to say it is a tragic end to a life torn between the classic celebrity trope of who they are and who they project.
Instead, lets focus on the music itself! Let me know what your favorite songs of Linkin Park happens to be! Let us know about your first experiences hearing their music! 8D Was it in a Music Video? And AMV? Live? Which ones made you feel pumped as ALL HELL and then would make you think about life in general?
I look forward to this discussion of celebrating good memories of a man now gone.

Now as I am just learning, I decided to post up a few examples of the works I had been doing over the last few days to provide a measuring stick of sorts to the quality I can provide.
As a beginner, I know that I will charge far below what my current skill is at so as to build up a base of clientel.
That being said, I would love to hear from those who are interested in giving me a chance. Now bear in mind I =WILL NOT= color art that was not commissioned/requested/drawn by someone else without that individuals permission. Otherwise, then there should be no issue in terms of ethical conflict on my part.

Posted 8 years agoAs of April 7th, 2017, I have been a part of FA and the furry fandom for a full DECADE! Man, a lot has happened in that time....but not as much as one would expect from a grown-ass man. XDDDDD
Still, I am happy enough with who I am and this site had a big influence on me for the better, I feel! So thanks, FurAffinity! ^_^

Posted 9 years agoJust managed to sit down and get showered (maybe not in that order >>) after baking and cooking in the kitchen for 4 hours straight to prepare for the get-together that began about 10 minutes ago. Achey...but doing good and enjoying the compliments from the family! 8D

I just wanna let you all know how lucky I feel to know and continue to meet such awesome friends and adoptive family from this site. This place was my first site that I became part of a community for on my own and have never regretted it a single time. Nice Guys Finish When~?

So for the past year or so, I have been dealing with my poor 2007 iMac finally beginning to die. After almost a decade of service and not a single trip to the repairman needed, the screen burned out early March of this year. Prior to that, the DVD drive had died and thus any chance of upgrading the OS became impossible for me. And until today, I have been using an old 90s monitor with wireless keyboard and corded mouse WITH a tablet on the side so I could Skype with my friends.
One of those friends, whom will remain nameless unless they would like me to say, decided to fix said situation...by getting me the new 2016 Macbook Pro!! And so now I am back with the current era of technology for the first time in about 7 years and happy to be able to chat with friends and not worry about my computer being unable to handle sites I visit!
I can watch my fave artists stream again!!! *DANCES all GHEY* (note) (veryhappy)
