Ok, some of you may not know, but I know a bunch of you do, that a while back I found MY name.
Niaphyla was used as a temp because I couldn't think of anything and it was the main character in the
novel I'm working on (which is not really any closer to being finished but is still in my head and
wanting to be gotten out) and I loved her name so it worked for a while. But, I'm not Niaphyla, she's
not me. So finally I stumbled on a name that is very me (there is a personal story behind it so it really
does suit me even if you don't know why).

So, with that in mind I had slowly been coming around Os' stream and my own with the name
Synkai. I didn't want to just abruptly change and my friends and fans not know who the hell the
new person was... But it's time. Time to change my account over and start using the Synkai one
that I made a while back.

account to make it easier to see all of my art in one place without having to go to other accounts. :)

I will be posting a "moving accounts" comment on all my watcher's pages so they know I've moved

I suppooooooose... I could do some streaming for sketches. On a "you're in the stream, I'm done with this picture, who wants to buy the next slot" basis. I don't want a commission list... I screw myself over by over-thinking it when I do that.... T_T

SO.... I guess I'll stream today if anyone is interested. I'll be working on a "what you think I deserve" basis. You say "I want to buy a slot". I say "Slot goes to ___". You tell me what you want. I sketch it out. You pay me a min of $5. (please be fair, a bust sketch is appropriate for $5... but a full body sketch should be worth more to you than $5)

DO KEEP IN MIND, I keep my art "tasteful". I don't mind the pron stuff, my boyfriend Os draws it and I LIKE IT A LOT, BUT I don't like doing it myself. It's just NOT MY THING. You want pron, go to Os. Oh, and I will draw herms, but DO NOT OVERLOAD ME WITH IT. I won't draw a herm jacking off as that's not "tasteful". I don't have a problem with things that happen in nature, and herms do happen, so I will draw them, BUT more than half the people using herms as their toons are not herms themselves so I have a dislike for them on this community. So... you have a herm, you want it drawn as a "trap", that's easy for me, I don't mind a bit.

Honestly, if you have a question on if I will draw something.... just ask me! I'm actually very friendly and don't really "judge"... (my opinion is to each their own) I've been asked to draw scat (that is a no by the way) and diaper fur (also a no unless it's an actual baby...) and I didn't judge the person, I don't have to get into it, but if it does it for them, at least they are getting their kicks and it doesn't hurt anyone.

Seriously, I am taking a traditional commission because I am out of catfood, and my cat should not suffer and starve because I am broke.

I do not have access to a working tablet at the moment, so this will be traditional. And I'm limited on colors, so this will be in pencil only, but I will shade it.
One character, full body, artistic nude or clothed. I do have an idea for a pose if you don't. (it's mainly a sensual feminine pose though)
I HAVE to have at least $20 so I can get a big bag and this will have a simple background (lets face it, I want to focus on the character) but if I can get $30, that would be a godsend as I'm needing shampoo & conditioner for myself.
I will provide a scan, and then will mail you the original as soon as I can afford to mail it (should be selling knitted scarves I'm doing through a friend's business soon, so hopefully will not be too long).

If somehow I get more than the $30, I will try to put in as much effort as your payment deserves.

I do need this by tomorrow... my cat will be out of food by the afternoon (at the very latest, I'm thinking morning, but she can be hungry for a couple hours) and I will have to bicycle several miles to pick up my boyfriend's Paypal card then to the store then drop it back off and come home to feed my cat.

Well... My Grandfather passed away around 14 hours ago. My cousin Karla did make it up to see him with his first great grandchild, and he died shortly after they left to get something to eat. He just had to wait to see Claire, I don't blame him.
He had two strokes after going to the hospital feeling dizzy and was in the hospital for a week and a half before passing away. I do not know if he was lucid at all when little Claire was introduced to him, but I know that Monday night he did get to see my Mama (his only living child, my uncle died in 2001) and was able to recognize her and nod at her though he was not able to speak as his tongue was paralyzed. Tuesday morning he wasn't recognizing anyone, but I do not know if he had went back to recognizing people when little Claire was there. I really hope he had. He passed away shortly after Karla took Claire and they went to get something to eat, he just held on so he could met his first great grandchild in my opinion.
The family was worried that he would pass away on the 3rd, and was praying he went any day but that day as that is my birthday. Now to just hope that his wife doesn't put his funeral tomorrow...

Anyways, just had to share so I could get it off my chest.

As my Halloween costume this year is makeup extensive, I will be starting to do tests to see how I want to
have it done up. I will be posting "teaser" shots (ie. one eye, nose, lips, etc) and seeing if anyone can guess
what it is before the big day. The first one to guess correctly will get a free sketch (perhaps even traditional

So yeah... we couldn't make rent. What that means...

There's not really a place for me to stay anywhere around here (especially not with all my shit I own) and I don't have a "job" (my babysitting didn't pay much) so I'm going to stay with my parents' (which is sadly 3 1/2 hours north..), while Os will be crashing at a friends' so he can still go to his job and save up money and get a working vehicle again and get a cheaper apartment while I work on getting my fines taken care of and my licence back so I can get a real job again and help with bills. Let me stress this now, so everyone knows and doesn't ask me. OS AND I ARE NOT BREAKING UP! I don't know how long I will be there, but Os is letting me take the graphic tablet with me, so I WILL be able to finish doing the art, and take on new commissions, BUT the net isn't great there, and while my brother has told me he has high speed net next door, it's only "open" (like the bandwidth) from 1am-6am central time, so... If I stream, it'll be during those times. I WILL try to do that though. (I'll post a journal once I get there and figure out how it's going to work out) Commissions WILL be open and welcome and even NEEDED as I need to save up $600 or so to get everything sorted. If I'm not able to stream, I will still get online and post WIPs in my scraps, wait for your input, and do it the "long way".

As I have to leave on Wednesday, I will not be streaming again till I get settled in at my parents', as I have a LOT to pack.

[not paid, is waiting to see what shading is wanted once it is mostly done. (don't normally allow payment after art, but my friend Oda knows this person)]

TO ALL COMMISSIONERS:
I ask for details, don't be afraid to get long winded. They are your character's, I would think you would know a lot about them. That isn't to say I want a long backstory to read through, just... details that are important to the piece I'm working on. Colors, clothing, even a bit of their personality quirks so I know what pose and expression they would likely use. If you have pictures of the way they stand, sit, etc. I mean, go wild, give me information. I'll pick and choose, as an artist does, but the better you express it, the better I can take your character and draw them the way YOU imagine them.

While I don't like sharing the issues that I have, I am going to so anyone that commissions me knows the "why" of my situation. I know that if I help someone, I like knowing why they need the help. My situation is my own fault, for the most part, but I'm trying to get back on my feet. I've been the Assistant Manager at two stores and wasn't fired, I usually do good, but I messed up and I need help. I don't plan on having to always be asking for help... I like being the one to give help... I hate that I have to ask all the time, so worry not that your generosity won't help me get back to solid ground and that I'll just continue to be a beggar...

So, my mama emailed me to call her, and after that conversation, here's what I have to report.

My parents' have sold $975 worth of stock and are going to give that to me in exchange for my old truck (which has been at their place for years and years and I had "given" it to them for winter use... <shrug>) Anyways, the total for my legal fines comes to $1485, so I'm $510 short of that, and will still need a little bit to cover getting my vehicle running again... BUT that is a huge step in the right direction. We are HOPING that paying the first warrant will reinstate my licence (that depends on that courthouse not seeing the warrant at another place) and I'd be able to use a little bit of whats left to fix the car and get a job and be able to pay the other warrant off while working, but that depends on the first courthouse reinstating my license. Unfortunately, we will probably be at least $200 short for this months rent... meaning we will be kicked out, Os will be crashing at a friends' place so he can go to work, and I'll be having to go 3 1/2 hours north to stay with my parents (with basically no internet, so slow that I'd likely only get online once a week to check email) for an unknown amount of time.. could be months, or even close to a year. T_T So..

1. Need to come up with $200+ to keep apartment for one more month.
2. Need to come up with $510 to finish paying off the second warrant.
3. A little extra to get my car up and running (it has been stationary for a year, it'll need a little TLC is all)

First one, $200.... I need more commissions! GO!

Ok, let's get the information on what is going wrong this time out of the way. Our roommate is moving out, taking his $200 a month with him. I have a legal matter to take care of that is keeping me from being able to work. I have to take care of that before I can even hope to be able to get a job to help out. For those dying of curiosity, it was my dumb ass forgetting to show up for a ticket for lack of proof of insurance, though I thought I had it at the time, friend I had it with cut mine off without telling me... and so I have a warrant for failure to appear. I've called and found out that to take care of it and be able to get my Driver's Licence back, it'll be a grand total of $1485... Anyways, we are short funds to pay for the bills we have, meaning we are going to lose the apartment if we don't get help. And on a side note, my cat has a cyst under her arm, it may be from a mammary tumor so they have to do an xray, bloodwork, surgery, and have her spayed so it's less likely to come up again... that all (if that's what it will be) will be $485.68. While I don't want to put my cat's health off for later, we have to have a roof over our heads, so that takes second priority.

Now, here is what I'm wanting to do... I want to be an art slave. You guys know the quality of my work, you guys know you're going to be helping someone that really has no choice on how much you pay, this is your charity really... whatever you put in, I will try to give you art that equals the amount given. Os is so stressed out right now that his art funk is worse than ever, so I have to try to break through mine to keep us afloat. I am going to PROMISE that I'm going to funnel coffee down my throat and stream every day/night, whichever, for at least 8 hours, so long as someone is online wanting to pay me for arting. I know I've been out of the loop for a long while now... I've honestly not really felt like doing anything art related since my Granny passed away in October though I managed to get a couple little things out at the beginning of this month. My Granny passed away Tuesday morning. The world lost one of it's most amazing women. She made it to her 75th birthday on Monday.

I love you, Granny. You were always the brightest star in my sky and it's no wonder to me that you gained the nickname Sunshine. I will always love you and I will miss you until I come to join you. May you rest in peace.
