Still struggling.

I hate to say but there's really nothing else to update on. I did indeed get a better job about six months ago, but despite what I had come to believe when I was first hired, I have yet to make enough to actually pay my rent on time every month so there's not a whole lot I can do as far as paying people back. And my options for finishing the suits I owe are REALLY slow-going because of previously mentioned mental and physical health issues.

I have not forgotten any of you, nor my obligations. But the sad fact is, there is literally nothing I can do about the fact that I'm limited in my job options thanks to my health and my dying state's economy and I'm still struggling to make enough to -feed myself- and keep a roof over my head.

I really do understand and appreciate that it is frustrating for some of you, who have been waiting YEARS for this to resolve. Trust me, I'm really frustrated too. The knowledge that I owe people quite a bit of money is a constant source of anxiety and I'm just accepting it, because I did dig myself this hole.

I wish there was a way to make it better in one move, but there's not.

So I really need you guys to hang in there for a while longer. There's nothing much else I can do about it.

Thanks guys! I'm only sorry that I don't post as much art and fursuit stuff as I used to. I've been focusing more on real-life stuff.

I'm not entirely sure if I'll ever go back to producing as much art as I used to, it's just way too stressful for me since I feel like I'm constantly being judged. Which I KNOW it's all part of being a commission artist, but I have enough anxiety in my life without wondering if I'm good enough.

I would NOT be selling the character, just the suit. So you wouldn't be able to use the name Ziirin. I'm probably going to be redesigning Zii YET AGAIN anyway.

But yeah I really really need the money right now, and I don't have anything else to sell. I wouldn't be putting as huge of a discount on this one as I did for the dragon head obviously, because it's quite a bit more complicated (markings, huge ears, dreads) and it's also a complete suit, with arms/paws/tail.

Really though, I'd like this dragon to stop gathering dust and maybe help me pay rent this month, so if you know anyone who wants a dragon head in time for Halloween, point them this way!

Wow it's been a while since I've updated here.

HI GUYS. I'M NOT DEAD. Just really busy and reclusive I guess? I dunno.

Anyway, I just ordered some more fursuit making materials and I'm getting back on a good schedule with the few I still owe. I'm excited to be done with these, lemme tell you what. Then I can breathe and reassess my artistic career.

I'll be dusting off a fursuit I made and never did anything with soon and putting it up for sale so I can get the last bits and bobs I need for this round of fursuits. It's brand-spanking new, never been worn, using my most up-to-date techniques. I just never did anything with it, that's all. I'll probably be listing it for a pretty low starting price too. :D DO YOU GUYS LIKE DRAGONS? I HOPE SO CAUSE THIS IS A SPIFFY DRAGON.

Also, does anyone still play Furcadia? I redownloaded it recently to have open in the background while I do other stuff. I'M SO ALONE HERE GUYS. My name's Niiku there too, so feel free to bother me. I'm just loafing around TGT.

I'm signing a lease on Monday for my new apartment, and I'll be moving on Monday and Tuesday. I'm not entirely sure yet how quickly we'll be able to get internet back, so please forgive me if I drop off the radar for a while.

My new job is going well, but as it stands I'll only be making barely enough to help with rent. So, as far as my current queue goes, I'm going to just buckle down and work on fursuits on my days off and try and get them all done and finished over the next year or so.

I know this continued wait and lack of further refunds might be disappointing to some, but this is literally the best I can do, unless you'd like the remainder of your refund to be in artwork, or would like to exchange your fursuit slot for the equivalent amount in artwork. ($20-$50 per picture on average depending on subject matter and media, just for reference. so that's a whole lotta artwork!) I find my carpal tunnel and hand tremors flare up less when I'm drawing than when I'm sewing/gluing/crafting/etc.

So yeah that's how things stand right now. Hopefully in a few months I'll either get a raise, more hours, or manage to find a better paying job so I can reevaluate this whole situation, but for now that's all I can offer.

No, I will not be attending FCN this year. I'll be moving in April, that coupled with my new job, continued work catching up on my queue, and the recent death of my uncle is leaving me in a position where I really don't want to be around large groups of people. My anxiety is through the roof and I couldn't handle a convention right now.

Sorry if I disappoint anyone. I just need to keep forging forward and manage as best as I can.

After a long and painful battle with cancer, my uncle Jeff died this morning. I can only hope he found some peace in the end. Love you, uncle Jeff. Rest in peace.
