As the title says, a small hiatus is on its way.
I'll be on Vacation for the next 2 weeks. I'll be flying to turkey to see my grandma. Haven't seen her in a few years and she is 96 years.
Since I live in germany I can't see her anytime I want. SO that's why me and my mom are gonna go visit her. I will most likely have internet and have my Brothers Laptop with me so I CAN scribble on commissions and some work done. But BIG PROJECTS sadly will be on hold.

Sadly I won't be able to progress further than the sketch phase. (The laptop is a slow potato and can't handle PS and I cant take my 24" Cintiq with me lol)

I HAVE FINISHED MY JANUARY QUEUE YAAAAS.
I did lots of painting and I am proud and more confident in the new style. And may offer it in the future. Just not as a pwyw thing, but a fixed price because my dumbass just loved the process of drawing so much I ended up sinking in 6 hours instead of the paid 2 lmao

the year is coming to a close and corona just wants to stick around. Such a bother. I thought with the vaccine this stuff can be conquered very soon. But human stupidity had to prove otherwise.

As I told in the last journal I plan to raise Prices soon. My Quick Drawing style keeps suckering me into rendering shadows in more detail were they start slowly to evolve into a more detailed variant than initialy thought of.
Lmao, in the past I called quick drawings quick sketches hahaha.
Byeah. I will do a price increase to 80€ Per Character, since that better justifies a more rendered and detailed style.
I will also try to work out a cheaper alternative tho. So, no worries there.
ALSO, the price increase will happen in either February or March.
I hope that's cool with you guys.

For now I am offering 10 Slots.
I will start work on them during January.
I also wanna offer a new painterly style. But it's a pure wing it type of commission (Solo character only). It's pay what you want with a range of some sorts. The rate is 40€ Per Hour. Let's say you want to pay 100€ I would work on your character and theme you give me for exactly 2 and a half hours.
It can range from Portrait to an entire Scene depending on your idea.

Hi guys, the queue from my last opening since march has gotten so long, i needed to close it.
But the reason I am writing this journal... I am so god darn slow, I have to apologize!
My tablet is worsening but I almost reached my goal, so that's good.
The main reason I am so slow is, I am busy with other stuff I wanted to do for a while and the heat and allergies reaaaaally slowed me down bad.

Many have dm'd me asking for a commission slot. I havent accepted any since my journal from april, mostly for my own sanity because long never ending lists stress me out a lot.

I wanted to give people a chance when i finish my last few remaining commissions, with the next opening but...
Due to higher power I will not open for commissions. Not sure when I'll open, probs when I feel better. But as of now I am not certain when this time will come.

Reason being, a coworker of my mom had suspicion of infection. showing symptoms and all, she took a test, but kept coming to work and didnt tell ANYONE. My mom got sick later and then the jolly message of a positive corona test reached us.
We have been put in quarantine since past sunday. The whole household with my mom, my brother, ny sister who doesnt even live here anymore and me.
My mom is surely infected. Showing symptoms but feeling generally fine luckily. Dry cough, aching bones and a headache. I mean she feels fine enough to do the household and she doesnt feel too weak.
She is wearing a mask, I do too, but she has been moving around despite telling her to stick in her room, she wouldnt.

I think I might be infected too. light symptoms such as soreness, a mild lightheadedness and a light headache.
I have a hard time concentrating on stuff due to my aching body and wont open commissions because of that.

So yeah sorry to disappoint. But i gotta take care of myself. hope ya understand. peace.

My sister is still complaining about clogged up sinuses and a headache... but i'd blame the headache on a bad matress on the hard floor.

me and my bro are fine. though for myself I don't know if I am paranoid or actually short of breath. maybe i'll get used to this. our health center declared me healthy enough to not spread the virus, so I can go back to work.

No, I seriously hope the next decade ahead of us will be a time of rebuilding the bridges we have broken in the last 10 years. It was chaotic, lots of ups and downs. Friendships were made, friendships were lost. The environment is fucked, the Amazonas was set on fire, the entire country of australia is on fire, oh man, it's a scary time for sure.

I for sure didn't make my last new years resolution come true... but instead I learned a lots about computers! And instead of buying a laptop I build computer! And bought a car! A good year I guess?

For my new new years resolution... I wanna keep commissions consistently open. Slots, art streams and all that fancy jazz.
Mainly because I wanna do my wallet a solid because insurance and stuff requires sacrifices. But maybe... it will also help me guide myself into full time freelance.
I really don't wanna work on commission in a furniture store, it's ass! You literally have to kiss ass to get the customer to buy your shit and then your boss pisses at you for not selling enough. Customer frequencies never have been this low reee.
