Considering opening up writing comms, checking interest

Recently I’ve been having a bit of a problem with money and savings which is why I haven’t gotten any new art recently. To make a small summary of my situation, I run a very small freelance business with a part-time job on the side. Due to everything going on in the country neither jobs are paying too well at the moment, and on top of that, I need to start paying my student loans again.
I’ve been writing a bunch of stories I haven’t published yet in my free time (including continuing Thalia’s story). I’ve been considering monetizing it as a means to gain some more income, however small.
With that being said, I wanted to check if that’s something anyone would be interested in or should I not put in the effort.
My plan right now would be some small short stories maybe 5k-10k words. Pricing about 50$-80$ depending on length.
I wouldn’t do any subject matter I’m uncomfortable with, including but not limited to
Vore, excessive gore, fart, fat, bathroom kinks, political stuff, slob, underage in any way including AP/AR, beastiality

Update on some projects (stories + midna tf com)
Posted 11 months agoHey haaw just a quick update from me on where some things are going
Firstly, I want to sincerely apologize on how long its taken for me to finish Thalia's story. I am planning on releasing an extended preview to show I have been working on it but its constantly on my mind because this is now the biggest writing project I've ever worked on and I want to make sure it's good. Current word count is over 10k and I've been working on it every night before I go to bed. I do enjoy writing it but I find it's my biggest source of stress at the moment. I'm constantly going back over what I've already written and making sure it's good. Hopefully it will be done before the end of the year.
Some good news now though.
The midna com I commissioned almost 7 months ago is finally getting finished!
The original artist for the first two pages finally told me they won't be able to work on it anymore, so it's being completed by my friend Kult.
To be 100% clear: I do not blame the original artist for anything. They've had a lot going on in their life and decided it was best for them to stop taking commissions. I hope they can work everything out and take comms again one day because I really loved their style for the comic. Should be done by mid next month

I took my dog to a cardiologist and was able to confirm he does not have Congestive Heart Failure. What he likely had when I took him to the emergency room was Pneumonia.
Thankfully we’re going to have him around a lot longer than I feared

Another setback
Posted a year agoHello again, just another little update from me for those that don’t follow my twitter
Unfortunately last Friday I had to rush my dog to the emergency room because he was having a lot of trouble breathing. The doctors discovered he had Congenital Heart Failure and estimated he only had a year to live. Thankfully he’s been taking to the medication very well, so I’m hoping he lasts a little longer than the doctors expect. He’s around 12 but he still has a lot of energy left in him, so I’m hopeful but still preparing for the worst.
My mother has offered to now fully cover both the vet stay and my cat’s surgery so I don’t have to overwork myself paying for them. I’ve told her not to get me a Birthday or Christmas present this year in exchange because I don’t want to rely on handouts from her. I’m still going to be working some extra shifts to pay her back, but for now the financial burden on me has settled a lot so I won’t have to work as much. I keep a few thousand dollars in savings for situations like these but this was simply too much all at once, so I’m thankful for her help.
Still no coms for a little bit, but I’m still writing for my story every night, so I’ll hoped get that done soon

Pausing comm art for a little bit, cat needs surgery

Went to the vet for my cat's yearly appointment. Good news is she's mostly fine, her weight is good and she doesn't appear to be in any outstanding pain or discomfort. Unfortunately, she's been struggling for a little while with food allergies which have unfortunately not let up, despite me trying multiple different foods. I'm going to have to put her on a purely hypoallergenic diet which is going to cost a bit more.
On top of this, the vet says my cat needs some dental surgery to clean a lot of tartar that's built up around her teeth, and they potentially need to remove some teeth that are starting to go bad. Considering the cost of all of this, I'm going to have to hold off on getting more commissions for a few months until I can work out a payment plan around the surgery and the new food.
I've also opened up shinies if anyone would like to help donate to the costs
TO BE COMPLETELY CLEAR: My cat's life is not in any danger and I am not struggling for cash. My mother has agreed to pay a portion of the surgery with the rest going onto me, but I'd prefer not to put too much of a financial burden on her as she's helped me with a lot of big, sudden and unexpected payments recently.

Lil update (+update on the next part of my story)

Just wanted to give a little update because some people were asking me about the next part of my story.
Unfortunately a few weeks ago, I was on a short vacation with some friends and I caught covid for the third time so I was out of commission for a week. After the initial symptoms passed I thought I was getting better but then I started feeling extremely lightheaded and dizzy, and getting constant headaches. I couldn’t stand on my feet for more than a few minutes. I’m mostly fine now, but I’m still feeling some of the effects. Mainly just feeling a little lethargic and it’s a bit harder to breathe when I’m at the gym. But because I was out of work so long my finances have started to go into the red so I’ve been taking extra shifts. (I don’t need any extra help, my mother has already been giving me hand finance wise)
Progress on the story is coming along though it’s turning out to be a lot longer than I had initially thought it would be. I believe I’m about halfway done but it’s already 80% of the word count as the first part. I may release it in two parts so I’m not leaving people hanging but it’s not a given.

Just a quick question, one I've been thinking about for a while:
When I upload a sequence, do you prefer all the images being together in one like here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49534072/
or do you prefer a separate post for each individual image in the sequence here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56032128/
I've noticed that the sequences usually get more favs if they're combined in one image like with the hellhound one.
But I'm not certain that means I should give up posting the individual parts of a sequence altogether or just maybe
keep them in scraps, because I'm not sure I want to fill up everyone's notifications or my gallery for both formats

tf game recommendations?

I was curious if anyone knows of any good transformation games that encourage you either mechanically or story wise to transform.
I don’t like the tf games where the tfs only happen when you get an ending. I want one where you’re actively dealing with the consequences of transforming/post-tf. Bonus if you get additional abilities from being transformed like being able to fly with wings or wrap something in your tail as a snake.
I know of runes of pandemonium, which is probably the gold standard for this, and Lilith’s throne which I also like. I’ve also tried Corruption of Champions 1 & 2, and repurposing center, but I’m more so looking for animal tfs, even if it’s anthro.
Curious to see if anyone has something like what I’m looking for.
