New Account Online.
Posted 5 years agoHi everyone,
After weeks of re-uploading all art and stories, coupled with other work and laziness, my new account is ready to roll. I'll still keep this one up for corresponding with artists i've commissioned works from. Trust me, i have a big queue to go through.
Without further ado, here it is:
ChironTheAscendant
There'll be new art uploaded very soon.
Thanks.

New Account
Posted 5 years agoHi all,
I originally made this account to lurk and look through the art. I didn't intend to develop my page the way it has now. Because of this, the name Noirman33 really doesn't sound that great anymore. As of now, i'm uploading all art from this account onto my new one so don't be concerned if you see my commissioned art appearing on the front page. When i have done this i'll give the link to the new account.
Thanks.

An update.
Posted 5 years agoHi everyone.
Been a while since i wrote a journal that wasn't for a raffle. Anyway, just thought i'd let you know of some things i'm working on that i hope to upload here soon.
For starters, i'm currently working on the first entry of The Odyssey of Chiron. I'll be telling the story of my scrawny stallion lad on his journey to becoming the Champion of Pegasos--a legendary warrior. The first story will tell of Chiron's first steps on his long quest.
I'm also working on another potential series about a wayward Wereshifter and a witch's apprentice. Expect some human/elf, human/wereshifter and wereshifter/wereshifter sex. They'll also be a plot about acceptance and belonging so it won't just be wall-to-wall bonking. Stay tuned for that.
That's all i have right now. Expect some more art of Chiron and my other characters soon.
Thanks and take care.

Looking for Artist
Posted 5 years agoHi everyone.
I'm looking for artists who are good at drawing male musculature, skin smoothness and wetness like sweat and water. At a reasonable price.
I ask because i have a character that, funnily enough, is a skinny beanpole of a lad. I want to get some nudes of him with some decent details.
Don't worry if you suggest an artist already on my watch list. I've accumulated so many that i can't remember who most of them are.
Thanks.

My novel and potential new account
Posted 5 years agoHi all.
I'd like to tell you about something i've been working on over the past year or so.
It is a novel called Fireheart and it is a fantasy romance/coming of age story featuring dragons as the characters. It is my first foray into the world i've called Solania that encompasses many different fantasy races, along with some of the furry and scaly variety. This story focuses on a remote dragon village and i hope this story to be a jumping-on point.
This blurb should hopefully give you a better idea as to what it is about.
Anyway, this brings me to my second point; a new account. Seeing the account of
Clostridium has given me inspiration to make another account. Like the aforementioned account, i want to post snippets of my stories with pieces of commissioned art. I won't be abandoning this account, i just want to separate my personal characters from the ones in my stories. There might be some NSFW works with my Fireheart characters, but i don't think i'd post them myself. This is all hypothetical at this point so don't hold me to it.
I'm also outlining stories about my characters Arathor and Celestie, so they might move accounts at some point.
Sorry to ramble, i just wanted to run it by you and hear what you think. Also, if any of you want to look through a chapter or two for beta-reading drop me a message.
Thanks.

A young dragon named Therion, scarred and mortally wounded, wakes in a peaceful village of dragons and dragonesses. Bitter and angry at being denied death, he rejects the help of the village healer, threatening to end his own life. But the healer’s persistent and beautiful apprentice, Celephi persuades him to reconsider. Given a second chance at life, the strange dragon accepts her help, but discovers, maybe, his attendant is the one who needs healing. Confronting long-held fears, he makes new friends and learns to reconnect with his fellow Wyrms. The healer’s apprentice faces challenges of her own, but her secret attraction to the new arrival only complicates things. Her patient is reluctant to accept his own feelings out of fear of pain, yet he can’t resist getting closer to her. Trouble approaches on the horizon, but will his past return to tear them apart?

Opinions on EP6 of The Witcher TV show. (Spoilers and rant)
Posted 5 years agoFinished watching the episode Rare Breeds and good god am i disappointed by it. The short story its based on is one of my favourite Witcher stories and this adaptation is just lacklustre and i hate it. There are many things i dislike about it, but i'll keep it to three items so i don't go on too long. :)
1: The design of Three Jackdaws
This is a massive peeve of mine. Like Game of Thrones and The Hobbit, the creators of this show have gone with a wyvern design for the dragon. I've nothing against wyverns themselves, i just hate it when they call them a dragon. I know that they are a sub-species of dragon, but when i think of a dragon, i think of the classic four legs and wings kind of dragon. In the short story i'm pretty sure Three Jackdaws was described the way i've just mentioned. In the show, he is not.
When i saw him come down into the cave, i felt the same way i did when i saw Smaug for the first time, annoyed and more than disappointed. Annoyed that they had chosen to go with a "realistic" design and disappointed because i had expected different. In my opinion, a wyvern is only dangerous in the air as it can only bite and breathe fire. In a cave it can't attack with front claws because it doesn't have them. A classic dragon is dangerous on land and in the air. Think of a tiger with wings that can breathe fire then you get the idea. This seems the more superior choice to the wyvern in my opinion.
When did it become unfashionable to have a Dragonheart style dragon in a movie or TV show? At least The Dragon Prince creators know what a proper dragon looks like. Anyway, moving on.
2: Sir Eyck of Demesle
What i love about this character in the story is how self-righteous and headstrong he is. It is so satisfying when he gets wrecked by Three Jackdaws after challenging him to a joust. I dislike dragon slayers and i love how the author plays around with the tropes to comic effect.
Unfortunately, the show decides to kill him off camera instead. Very disappointing. But i think this choice was because of budgetary constraints. Such a shame.
3: Minor story complaint
In the story, Three Jackdaws distracts the raiding party so that the female he made a transaction with so he could have a child could escape. In the show, she is dead when Geralt and co arrive at the cave. The egg is safe so there's that. But it does mean we don't get a really cute moment with Yennifer and the baby dragon at the end.
Also, Three Jackdaw's disguise is an old man in the show. In the book, i swear he had black hair and was a bit younger looking. That's just a tiny problem and has no real effect on anything so, yeah...
Phew! Rant over. Anyway, i hope whoever has read my rambling has a merry christmas. To be clear, i really like the show so far. These last two episodes have been a little weak but overall, it's really enjoyable.
Anyway, good day.
