How many of these furries who post drawings of rape related art and romanticize and glorify it and down-play it into something we have come to know as "raep" are really rapists in real life? How many would really enjoy getting "raeped" like they post on these pictures all of the time? It ain't rape then, now is it? Hell, even hypnotism could be construed as a form of rape but it's a gray area no one really wants to think too hard about. And yet cub related art makes you a pedo. Granted, it's against the AUP now and that's fine. The reason it's against the AUP is because people take drawings too goddamned seriously. I dunno. I just think people need to calm the fuck down. Report somethin' if it's against the AUP and move on. No need to crusade and get on your white knight schtick just because you wanna make yourself feel better about the creepy, freaky shit you're into. People spent hours ranting back and forth on a picture I saw posted today. On a moot point, no less.

I'm always all for a new art website, especially one that's furry based. This seems like it could be pretty cool, especially with the different things they are talkin' about implementing on it. Though it -would- be nicer to have an art community that's receptive to both anthro AND human art, while also not bein' decidedly homophobic, with no problem but that's probably too much to ask from the internet hahah!

Art communities are just that: communities. The require communication and..well a general populous. Hopefully there will be some support for it when it does hit the web.

Every time I see a pic that involves monkeys, there are inevitably comments from people who "Don't normally like monkeys but..." or think that no one can ever draw a sexy monkey character and get surprised as hell when they see one drawn. I never even understood why people don't like them as much around here. The only reason I've heard was that they are "too close to human". Uh...? First off, you're human so that's just stupid. Second, there is a -very- small group that is actually related to humans at all. Those would be the Hominidae Family. Chimpanzees. Orangutans. Humans. Gorillas. Most people don't draw chimps and orangutans 'round these parts. And people find the Gorillas hot usually because they like those big fat daddy types with strong muscles, a cocky grin, and probably a cigar in their mouth. All the others couldn't possibly be sexy and yet...you're gettin' off on this picture of a monkey? Sometimes it's interestin' cause then they start likin' monkeys and try to find more. Other times they're surprised that there are primates around FA and that they are actually sexy. I dunno...just stuff I see a lot. /rant

Since about an hour ago~<3 It feels nice. Also, graduation tomorrow. I. Am. Excite.

This has been...a most stressful past couple of weeks. Finals comin' up, graduation, settin' the foundation for work after graduation...it's all so much! We have this capstone project to do that requires us to use all of the information we have collected in the field and write up a land management plan. We had about four days to do this, essentially. To say I was stressed would be a major understatement. Anyway, the teacher was trollin' us all week. Gave us an update today sayin' it's due for presentation and defense next Friday instead of tomorrow. I'm sure he knew all along, days ago. He just let us run around and fret about it for a week because he could. So there's that, on top of the finals that are comin' up next week. Those shouldn't be too bad, though.

In other news, I'll be postin' up some new work, commissions and such, in the very near future. You all may see some new stuff next week and, if not, for sure the week after. It's grind time for a lot of stuff 8D Gotta keep busy.

Also, my b-day is in about 15 days. I'll be 23 Fun times, fun times. Gotta find someone to go see Avengers with me.
