I Don't feel Like an Artist
Posted 5 years agoI don't feel like an artist despite the fact I am.
I mean I have pictures, journals, comments, page views, watchers and other stuff but I don't feel like an artist.
I mean I'm grateful for all of the support I've received over the years in the form of views, comments, even advice from a few other artists but I still feel like I'm missing some things.
One I feel like I'm missing some good standing in terms of reputation. I mean I've pissed off some people over the years and I'm sorry about that. Some of them blocked me for it and while I feel that was excessive it shows that I indeed did some things wrong. I wish we could've worked things out but if we can't that's that.
However, I've been blocked for completely petty reasons by some people like two people blocked me for being an anarchist! Yeah just for my beliefs I've gotten blocked. Also I've been blocked by some people I have had little to no interaction with.
But anyways another thing I feel I'm missing is the skill that the big artists have. I mean they have the skill which earns them at least 100,000 page views and I'm at only the 12,000 mark. My pictures are amateurish and I've been going at art for over 10 years so I feel like I'm a bit behind.
Also I want the advice from the big artists on what to do to get to their level. But I'm worried about like asking because I'm not sure if that's the kind of thing they share. I mean I have a question for people who can answer it: Are big artists willing to share advice or is that something they keep under tight wraps? I mean I've gotten advice from smaller artists but what about the big ones? Do they like to share that kind of thing?
I mean nobody is entitled to advice or lessons from another artist but it's really nice if they're willing to share the skill in a sense. I've seen tutorials on art, that were art in and of themselves, but I haven't had a one on one with another artist. I'd really like that.
I feel very intimidated by the bigger artists like they're crossing their arms and smiling a hostile smile at me as if to say "We're the big boys, you'll never be one of us, what right do you have to even be in our presence?" and I know they're doing that, but if feels like they are.
I just, I don't know I mean they're so much better than me. So much more powerful like a lot of other people for a lot of other things in real life. I want to be them rather than just look at them or be around them.
I mean a lower guy and stand with the big boys but that doesn't make him one. Like you can have a skinny guy stand with some strongmen competitors but of course he isn't one of them.
You actually need to be one of them for it to be meaningful to be with them.
Also I wish I was tough.
I mean I'm gonna be honest, I'm a pussy in real life and on the internet. I'm not a doormat (at least not a severe or moderate one, at most not one at all) but I'm not a tough guy either. I currently can't kick ass against those that wrong me. I mean I can resist and perhaps repel them but I can't totally destroy them for messing or even insisting on messing with me.
This of course ties into how I was bullied physically, verbally you name it in school. I wasn't bullied severely but I was bullied upper moderately and any amount of bullying sucks. But I digress so let's switch back to how this subject relates to this site.
I noticed a lot of artists on this site and others are really good at slamming bad people and telling them to fuck off. I can't do that, I mean I be like "You shouldn't be doing that! You're wrong! That's stupid! You're the bad guy! etc." But I can't have the ferocity and mercilessness (towards wrongdoers) that MANY other people on this site possess on this site let alone real life.
I just don't know why other than I tend to be a sensitive guy. I mean I am sensitive, for one it doesn't take a lot to rattle me up. It just doesn't. If someone snaps at me for saying something cringy/accidentally rude/out of place that really shuts me down. I wish I weren't this way (it obviously is a disadvantage) but it seems hardwired in to my body/mind/soul even.
Weird huh?
Also to top it all off I can't imagine these artists or people being defeated by ANYONE EVER! I just can't fathom these people ever losing to someone because they're just that damn tough! Especially, if I was unfortunately snapped at by them! I mean can you imagine someone who totally kicks ass who may have kicked or at least roughed up your ass losing to ANYONE? I sure can't! I feel like these people don't even get snapped at, they're the ones that do the snapping. Also they don't seem to piss anyone off to the point of getting blocked or something. I mean I heard of art thieves and really butthurt people blocking the big boys but never the big boys really being at fault for being blocked or being blocked for nothing.
I have a real life friend that tries to get me to see otherwise, that people aren't as invincible or never been defeated as they may seem but I just can't visualize that notion. They just seem too damn tough!
It seems like I'm the only one screwing up because I never see other people fail/fall. I just don't.
Not saying people should fail/fall but if I saw them I would be reassured that I'm not the only mere mortal.
Also I'm 26 and still live with my parents. It's sad I know, but I don't know how to have the means to move out. I failed college for 2 degrees and managed to graduate with one different degree but it hasn't really helped. Moving out requires a home, job, reliable transportation, and a competent mind none of which I really have right now or the means to get some.
I just want to know how to fix all this shit. You know, how to be one of the big boys, how to have a good rep, how to be tough and how to move out!
Any advice?

Bitcoin would be the best for commissions
Posted 5 years agoI really hope I'm not offending anyone I may be referring to in this journal. I'm just stating a concept I have in mind for how to pay for art that I think should happen more often.
Keep in mind I'm not an expert so I'm going off of what I know and trying to infer/fill in the blanks for what I don't.
I notice a lot of artists on FA for example don't use bitcoin for commissions and use Paypal exclusively.
It'd be a lot better if more artists either used bitcoin exclusively or together with Paypal or whatever else.
See, the thing about bitcoin is, it's pretty flexible to use compared to normal money online. I mean normal money through like Paypal is just represented through data. That's not the actual money that's just the data for the money. Bitcoin is both the data AND the money. I mean it's cryptocurrency run by a blockchain that's all electronic and shit. Regular money is just bills and coins that can be represented with paychecks and numbers and all that but is they're not one and the same.
Bitcoin is one and the same when it comes to its presentation through data as well as being the data itself.
Now why is this important well regular money is really tedious to work with since it's separate from its physical nature and data representation. Like with Paypal to work with normal money you to hook it up to a credit card which is hooked up to a bank which holds at least some of the physical money on hand. It gets complicated with all the connections you have from the bank to whatever to you as well as transferring/transporting the money.
With bitcoin you don't have all that convoluted crap. You just have wallets, the bitcoin, the people with the wallets paying each other, and the blockchain servers. You don't have to have a bank, credit card, checks whatever because the data is the money and the data is easily transferred around electronically.
Okay now maybe this is a bit long winded but I'm trying to explain it as best I can.
How is it easier to pay artists in bitcoin than regular cash? Well for one bitcoin can be earned in it's complete data/actual form online. Like there's this cool site called cointiply where you can earn bitcoin: https://cointiply.com/home?intent=faucet
You do surveys, faucets, click ads and other ways to earn actual bitcoin. The surveys are the best way to get bitcoin efficiently. This is how I earned most of my bitcoin was from this site.
I wouldn't be able to do all this with normal money with all the banking, credit card, bureaucratic whatever connections you need to work with normal money.
I mean can you just earn actual physical dollars that you can put in an electric/computer wallet you readily spend online? You know the actual money not just flim flam data representing it. Well the answer is no, you can't but with bitcoin you can. The data IS the money after all which makes it so easy to move.
Now did I buy commmissions with bitcoin? Yes I have! I even helped the artists I bought them from set up bitcoin to get paid in. I linked them to bitcoin wallets, I paid them, they did the commissions and it was done. Without bitcoin I couldn't do all that at all.
So I see a lot of artists that still use Paypal only and I feel sad because if I wanted a commission from them I wouldn't be able to pay them. I mean Paypal has all these hurtles for me to use that I can't overcome. Bitcoin doesn't.
I feel these artists could have more customers if they accepted bitcoin too. I mean lots of people are getting on board with bitcoin and not with Paypal. Yeah there are still a lot of Paypal users but with all the bitcoin user involved it would be worthwhile to accept their money too.
If you can't pay with Paypal but you can with bitcoin then that would be awesome to accept!
Paypal is just a mess with all the connections and permission you need to operate it. So if people just can't use it then they're pushed out of the art market from those that only accept that.
So basically as many people as possible should be using bitcoin to a degree. It would really help pay for art as well as other things and even create more freedom from the state due to its decentralized non-elitist nature.

Important Journal
Posted 5 years agoI DON'T like being touched
Posted 5 years agoI don't like being touched without permission.
Why? Because I want consent. I don't want people to put their hands on me without permission. Like sometimes when people say excuse me to me when they're walking by they'll grab me by with their barehand by my bare arm and that fucking sucks! Sometimes I'll grab them back, but sometimes I'll be too scared and I'll just let it happen. I wish they could just say excuse me without grabbing me but sometimes they grab me anyway.
Also grabbing me is what a lot of my bullies did and sometimes I'd grab back but sometimes I wouldn't.
Plus I don't know where people's hands have been or whether they washed them or not! Even if they did wash them I still don't want them touching me. And plus touching feels uncomfortable.
Sorry if this isn't an adequately structured journal I just can't get this thing out of my head.
I wish I had more confidence to grab people back when this happened or at least back away.
I may write more later but this is all I have.

Furaffinity has become a really hostile place
Posted 5 years agoI mean people have become really snappy and unapproachable on this site.
First off the blocking. You can blocked for either really stupid reasons or no reason at all. Being blocked by someone you haven't even met is called shadow banning and it happens on this site. I've been shadow banned and know someone who has been shadow banned and it's fucking stupid.
Why block someone you never even met or interacted with? Make no sense.
Also I've been blocked for really stupid reasons.
For example, I got by an artist by an artist who said I was asking too many questions despite the fact not everything I said was a question and if that's the case whey did she let me know earlier that I was asking too much. I've also said nice things about her pictures but she forgot all of that apparently.
I've been blocked just for having a conversation with an artist on their pictures. They'd willing have a conversation with me and then after a few comments block me.
It's what "What the hell?" what was the conversation then? I mean if you don't like how the conversation is going THEN TELL ME.
Also I've been blocked for "Asking for requests." See, when I first start furaffinity 10 years ago I was ignorant as fuck with etiquette in terms of that. I didn't know you were supposed to check an artist's page to see if they even do requests so I would ask them on their pictures which is a bit rude/cringy. Also if they don't mention it on their page ask if you feel they'll be friendly.
Anyways, I got blasted dong so. And it made feel like shit. For example, some guy to my request comment and and wrote it multiple times in one comment. Who the fuck does that?
Also, I got a lot of other disparaging comments which was totally unnecessary. One guy gave me the advice to ask if people did request via Private Message which really helped me out in terms of my approach. If I didn't thank him before I thank him now so "Thank you!".
So just asking for a request can get your head bitten of and you possibly being blocked.
People hardly politely say "No." anymore. It's all about responding in the most unnecessarily, unjustly hostile manner. I don't know why this is. I mean it's totally uncalled for. I mean it makes a bit more sense to respond hostility if someone demands a request.
See, there's a difference between asking for a request and DEMANDING a request. Asking is just an inquiry, demanding is a command, it assumes entitlement and control which is wrong. If someone is just asking for a request they didn't really do anything wrong unless they did it out of ignorance without checking the page. And even that isn't so bad. If you're willing to take no for an answer, then what's the big deal.
I mean these artists respond to people as if they just got held at gunpoint by the person ASKING not DEMANDING a request. I mean seriously they didn't point a gun at your head, they JUST ASKED. If you don't do a request JUST SAY "NO.". It's not that hard. There's no need to degrade a person for trying to meet their art needs even if they pondered if they could get it for free.
Also I saw one artist that threatening to block anyone that made a mistake on an auction he was holding. Yeah blocking someone for making a mistake on an auction is just ridiculous. I can understand someone just wanting things to go smoothly with the money but really blocking?
I've been blocked just by writing a journal one time!
Okay onwards, so blocking sucks running into a really hostile artist sucks.
I mean someone who think could be friendly and it turns to be the opposite BIG TIME. Some artist snap at the littlest things some of which have been covered in the paragraph above. Like snapping over questions, snapping over ignorance, snapping over talking a while, etc. It's just ridiculous. It makes the art community seem REALLY UNAPPROACHABLE and it shouldn't be that way.
The art community should be friendly and laid back, not harsh and hostile. The more frequent this explosive, impulse, overreacting mentality becomes the less people are gonna want to talk to artists.
In other news, people give other people shit for what they write on their own page! I got a lot of shit for a journal I wrote one time.
Will update later.

Tattletale is the stupidest word of all time
Posted 5 years agoSeriously fuck this word, it makes no god damn sense and is a pile of crap.
Okay what does tattletale mean?
Well according this: https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/tattletale here's what it means
A person, especially a child, who reveals secrets or informs on others; a telltale.
Well based on that the word is bullshit.
Why? Because existentially it contradicts itself.
I mean if rules are meant to be followed you can't be a tattletale and if rules aren't meant to be followed then they shouldn't even exist! If rules aren't meant to exist (which means they shouldn't even be followed) then how could you be a tattletale? I mean there's no rules which legitimately/illegitimately exist for you to tell people on!
As for revealing secrets, wouldn't that be more like gossiping?
Anyways, if you're not allowed to report others for breaking the rules, essentially they're allowed to break the rules then! You know, because reporting them would be TatTlIng!
Again if you're allowed to break the rules then why even have them? Rules conceptually (not necessarily morally since some rules are unjust) are ALL meant to be followed. Yet tattling is defined as informing on others.
So if I'm not allowed to report on others, to hold them accountable for breaking them, then the rules essentially don't matter/exist. If they don't matter/exist, then you can't tattle on people for them! Nobody is going to care that they broke the rules and that you reported them since they don't care about the rules in the first place?
So this word can't make any sense.
Now don't get me wrong, I disagree with some rules that I feel people should be allowed to break morally such as the war on drugs. NOBODY should report someone for smoking pot or even meth.
However, if they do so anyways I can't call that tattling because that's not part of the definition of the word. The definition just says informing on others when it pertains to that. It DOESN'T say reporting people for breaking stupid and unjust rules.
Also, people tend to use this word to shift blame from the perpetrator to the victim/reporter which is disgusting.
I had a math teacher in 6th grade that said if you tell on someone for pulling your hair you're a tattletale which really pissed me off but I didn't say anything since teachers don't listen to you at that school.
Teachers just want to shame people so they don't even bother them with incidents do deal with even though that's their fucking job.
Anyways, that's what's wrong with the word. It doesn't make any sense plus it's used to shame people with legitimate complaints.
Okay what does tattletale mean?

A movement to save people online from abuse in real life
Posted 5 years agoI noticed on Youtube alone there are all these cases of someone being currently abused and/or abused in the past (in real life) and I hate that. I want to save people from that shit whether I just see them online or even real life.
I mean I read in the comments all these users that have gone through being bullied, sexually, physically abused, and all kinds of shit and I want to help them but it's hard. For one thing Youtube (as big and old as it is) doesn't have a system for reporting an abused user. It has a system for reporting an inappropriate video which could include abuse but that's the same thing. I mean you see a comment of so and so saying "Hey this person is doing this to x and it really sucks." Not "oh this video violates the terms of use/acceptable upload policy.
You know comments like "I'm being bullied, I'm being raped/molested, I'm being abused, neglected, that sort of thing.
I've tried reaching out to these people giving advice as well as comfort to get the police involved or someone else that can help stop the abuse and bring the abuser to justice with little avail. I mean there was this one guy that said he still saw his abuser every day when he goes to school something like that. I told him to get the police to arrest this asshole but he just didn't think it would work. This other guy got raped by his teacher but he didn't feel like coming forward to try to bring her to justice either one reason being it was a long time ago before she was a teacher.
It sucks I want to actually help someone. I don't think I've really helped someone over the internet with this kind of stuff although I did help a guy come out (reveal he's gay) to his mom which turned out well.
Point is I want more people to try what I'm doing and I want more success from me and them. I mean there's so much abuse in this world that goes unstopped and unpunished to be considered adequately/acceptably dealt with. I mean I know harm elimination isn't possible but harm reduction is so I really think more people should give it a shot.
All the victims of perpetrators. is part of what stopped me from being misanthropic. I mean misanthropy is when you condemn/shun/hate/reject the human race right? And the motivation for this viewpoint is because there are so many assholes right?
Well the thing is the victims make up humanity just as the assholes do and by condemning humanity you condemn the victims too along with the perpetrators. The victims don't deserve to be condemned only perpetrators and believe me there are tons of assholes out there. For every asshole there's at least one victim and vice versa and victims can have multiple perpetrators and vice versa so there are a lot of both types of people.
Victims make up a lot of humanity to despite currently losing the battle against the assholes so condemning humanity would essentially be condemning the people you feel sorry for in the first place! The real people a misanthrope hates are the assholes yet by condemning humanity they condemn the very people they feel sorry for: The victims.
So yeah I want help the victims and just try to fix the world at least a little bit. Hopefully this movement can take off with or without my help and maybe it's already starting up!

The Swatter AND the cops need to be held accountable!
Posted 5 years agoOkay here's the lowdown: There's this thing called "swatting" which is where a person gets a swat team (or at least the regular cops) called over to someone ELSE'S house to confront them.
Like they claim the victim they're calling the cops over to is being dangerous so the cops show up and usually act pretty rough towards the victim despite them being innocent.
See for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hky.....i8N97RPa2MPLiw
Now how do the swatters even get the person's address to call the cops over? I don't know exactly. I mean maybe it's hacking, maybe it's looking through public records, maybe the information was even provided by the victim I don't know. Point is the swatter gets brutal thugs with badges over to brutalize or even kill the victim.
Why? Various reasons all of them malicious. Anyways the swatter tends to get caught and punished.
The question remains though: What about the jackbooted thugs that busted down an innocent person's door? Do they get arrested or even fired?
Nope! Just the swatter gets held accountable for the their actions!
Which is bullshit because the cops are the ones that carry out the force. I mean sure a swatter uses deception to have them come over, but in the end it's them that do the brutality. NOT the swatter. Without thug cops the swatter has NO POWER WHATSOEVER. It's not them busting down the doors of the victim, pointing guns at and wrestling them down to the ground it's the cops so the cops AND the swatter should be held accountable.
Sounds easy to understand but as you can see from the comments most people think only the swatter should be punished not the trigger happy cops despite them being the swatter's source of freaking power.
I mean comment after comment says to punish the swatter but very few (including mine) say to punish the damn cops as well. VERY FEW.
At 6:21 in the video cops absolutely rough up an innocent gamer and yet people STILL thing only the swatter should be punished!
It's like WHAT?! People are all like "Yeah some police officers totally roughed this guy up but only the deceptive caller should be punished!"
I mean talk about cognitive dissonance, lack of accountability for the police and even a lack of sympathy for the victim!
Gee whiz! Look bad people should be held accountable whether they're masterminds trying to trick everybody or the people that carry out the violence of the masterminds.
It's really not that hard I mean come on...

MEN have been sexist against MEN. WOMEN against WOMEN too
Posted 6 years agoI'm serious. I mean I hear all this stuff about men being sexist against women and vice versa feminists/femanazi being an example of the latter.
But no one seems to mention men being sexist against men or women being sexist against women even though it HAPPENS.
For example MALE (as well as some female) authorities have chosen to make only MEN eligible for the draft in the U.S., given harsher penalties for equivalent crimes to men as opposed to women, have made it so women tend to unfairly win custody battles, men aren't take seriously if violated by a woman, and tons of other shit.
I don't get why this isn't brought up I mean it's always just "Men oppress women!" or "Women oppress men!" but I don't hear very much about same sex oppression. Another example would be if a male politician is against gay marriage then he is discriminant against men by not allowing them to marry each other. Similarly if a female politician is against gay marriage then she is discriminant against women by not allowing them to marry each other.
In order to reduce sexism it has to be acknowledged when the same sex does it to the same sex rather than just the opposite sex!

It's not landing
Posted 6 years agoIn one way or another I've mentioned that there's a lot of friction in the art community.
I've mentioned things like people troll, block for the stupidest things, force roleplay, demand free art, ignore legitimate comments, overreact to certain things, etc. hoping to start some kind of positive dialogue. But the thing is I haven't gotten much, for the few people that responded in any way positively I'm eternally grateful. Though I wish I saw more of discussion going on not just with what I write about the topic but what other people happen to...
NOBODY seems to really be talking about this, I searched "Friction in the art community." on Google and got nothing relevant to my search. As for looking for journals on the topic I haven't really found any. I mean I've found journals of people venting about people demanding free art, forcing roleplay, being picky commissioners, etc.. But nothing about the friction and hostility on art websites as a whole.
I'm trying to think why nobody seems wants to cover this topic and I can only come up with some estimates/inferences and reasons behind them.
1. They don't care: They don't think the topic is relevant or really matters.
2. They're not aware: They haven't run into any problems nor seen anyone who has so "Out of sight, out of mind." is basically occurring.
3. They're afraid to agitate the gravel: They fear if they talk about the hostility (even on their own pages) they'll receive it. Understandable considering I got shit for writing about stuff on my own pages.
4. They feel it's unnecessary: They feel what happens and how to deal with it goes without saying.
5. They don't know what to say: Maybe they want to say something but don't know what it is.
I feel like regardless it has to be talked about. I mean people are genuinely being hurt by other people on the site for whatever reason and by not talking about the issue it's basically being swept under the rug. I want things to better and for that do happen people need to at the very least be proactive and talk about it.
At least I'm talking about it.

Top 10 Worst memes ever
Posted 6 years agoSeriously some things just aren't funny and YEAH I know humor is subjective please don't tell me it's just my opinion.
There are some things which are really unfunny and yet they get popular. Here's a list of things I feel meet that quality.
Oh and the first/final sentence thing refers to the sentiment towards the meme.
10. Raid Area 51
First Sentence: Seriously this is a thing?
What it's about: It's a meme about the proposing a raid against the military base in Nevada known as Area 51.
Why it's not funny: Okay even not counting the fact that attempting to raid a military base can get you arrested, injured or even killed, it's just irrelevant. I mean you raid the military base, now what? How is that even worth doing and how do you even plan that out even in a joking way?
Final Sentence: It's just dumb.
9. r/wooosh
First Sentence: You're rudely pretentious.
What's it about: When someone doesn't get a joke you reply to them by saying r/wooosh because the joke went over their head. It "woooshed" right over their head.
Why it's not funny: I already explained it here:
r/wooosh Chastising by idiotsr/wooosh to explain to those that don't know is a meme that originated on reddit but is frequently shown on Youtube as well as other sites is when you type "r/wooosh to someone who has missed a joke You know like offering a logical explanation for what has happened rather than going with the joke answer.
For example:
Guy making joke: I'm Asian! (Stretches eye holes to look Asian.)
Guy logically explaining things: You're not Asian, you're just stretching your eye holes.
Woosher: r/wooosh
Anyways basically when you r/wooosh someone, you're chastising hem for not getting a joke which is why I find it cringy. You're bullying them in sense. Not school bullying or bullying bullying, getting in their face on the internet bullying.
I mean seriously? Chastising someone for not getting a joke? I mean ok they didn't get the joke so fucking what? Just explain it to them then! Also a lot of the times I've been r/woooshed by someone, the jokes weren't even funny. Like there's a joke where you
But just for relevancy I'll explain it again: You're chastising someone just for not a fucking a joke. It's like "Wow! Someone didn't understand your humor! That makes you a fucking genius for understanding it and gives you the right to degrade anyone that didn't understand the joke! I mean it's not like people can't understand ever faucet of humor their is!"
Yeah not everyone gets a joke, no need to be a dick about it. I mean you wouldn't like it if someone degraded you for not getting the answer to a scientific/mathematical problem. So why do it for a joke?
Final Sentence: I didn't get the joke, could you explain it instead being a dick about my ignorance?
8. There's something wrong with your x.
First Sentence: That's not what it is at all.
What it's about: It's when there's an animal video and people call the animal everything but what it is. Here's a pretty infamous example:
Why it's not funny: Calling something something it's not isn't clever it's just annoying and stupid. Nothing humorous or special about that.
Final Sentence: Please call things what they are...
7. Hotel Trivago
First Sentence: Mediocre repetitive humor.
What it's about: It's when you say "Such and such..." and then the words "Hotel Trivago." at the end... That's literally the meme. It's modeled after the Hotel Trivago commercial having that phrase at the end.
Why it's not funny: Putting a phrase of a lodging/travel commercial doesn't really fit with the content being said at all.
Final Sentence: A hotel that gets memed poorly.
6. Why are there x views when there are only y amount of people in the world?
First Sentence: You don't know your stats.
What it's about: It's when you take the view count for a video then ask how that can be so if there's only this unrealistically small number of people in the world.
Why it's not funny: For starters, when the facts are burned in about the actual population of the planet being over 7.5 billion people how can saying that number in relation to the view count possibly be clever? Plus there's the obvious fact that people can watch a video again.
Final Sentence: Learn how your numbers and statistics work.
5. Dindu Nuffin
First Sentence: Seriously?!
What it's about: It's a meme used to degrade black people who either do crimes or don't do theme at all. Some black criminals and their sympathizers have acted like they didn't do anything wrong.
Why it's not funny: Not all black people do crimes and not even all black who do crime use this as a excuse or any excuse at all. This racist pseudo-intellectual garbage is passed off as humor. Racist humor is only funny when you don't really mean it and the people who use this meme do.
Final Sentence: Being racist makes you stupid not smart.
4. Get back in the Kitchen!
First sentence: Sexism so funny!
What it's about: The stereotypical role of a woman working in the kitchen and the notion that she shouldn't do anything else.
Why it's stupid: Considering seeing women do tomboy type stuff like mechanical work or guns is hot this brand of repetitive sexist humor is just BORING.
Final sentence: Overdone. Just overdone.
3. Cool Story Bro!
First sentence: Then why say anything?
What it's about: It's a sarcastic way of saying you don't care for someone's anecdotes hence that it's a "cool" story.
Why it sucks: You're going out of your way to degrade someone based on your apathy. How dare anyone mention anything that other people may care about but not including you. How dare!
Final sentence: Keep it to yourself next time!
2. Rickrolling
First Sentence: Clickbait huh?
What it's about: When you say a video is about this but you really just show this song.
Why it sucks: It's a good song but using it as a way to deceive people into thinking they're going to see something cool is lame.
Final sentence: Boring
1. Calling things autistic
First sentence: Using non-insults as insults huh?
What it's about: Using the word autistic as an insult.
Why it sucks: It's just getting a social disorder and using it as an insult. Nothing clever, not an argument just stupid.
Final sentence: You really need to learn how to talk.
So that's what I got so far. I will probably make of the top 10 best memes ever.

Top 10 Reasons for Doing Commissions rather than Requests
Posted 6 years agoThere are various reasons why an artist would rather charge money for art than do it for free and here all the ones I find to be the most common.
10. The requesters don't seem to ask for what the artist wants to draw:
People can request a lot of different things at lot of which the artist may not enjoy drawing. So if they are to draw things people don't like, they want make it worth it so they charge money.
9. It's a job:
Some artists actually do commissions as their main job rather than something on the sidelines. It can even before an important source of income so in order to get that income they have to charge.
8. People have taken advantage of requests:
Requesters for example can be rude and take advantage of artists doing requests. They can ask for more requests than the artists is willing to do/do at the moment, be too pick about the request, and even be demanding.
A lot of artist figure if they're going to take the risks of doing art for people they might as well get paid for it.
7. They need the money:
Similar to reason #9 when times are tough a primary job may not be enough so a lot of people turn to commissions to get necessary money. It can really come in handy.
6. It makes extra money:
Similar to reasons #9 and #7 people may not need the money but want the money. It's nice to make extra money on the sidelines.
5. It gets recognition:
Now while it may seem like the opposite would happen, artists that do paid art get more recognition than people who do free art. I'm not quite sure why though that seems to be the way it is.
If you do art for money and people like what you have to pay for it, you'll definitely get recognition.
4. It's more motivational:
When you're obligated to provide at product at a charge for a customer it really motivates you to get it done well and get it done on time. With a request not so much since it isn't really an obligation. It motivates you to do well with your skill and speed.
3. It helps pump out art:
Related to reason #4 if an artist wants to fill a site with as much content as possible it helps to get paid for doing it. It gives you a drive to keep going rather than just doing what people want for free.
2. It forces the person asking for the art to think carefully about what they want:
Artists often have guidelines for what they'll draw and how they'll draw it. For example more detailed commissions such as full color costs more than flat color so it forces the person asking for the art to be careful which how much detail they want in their picture as well as what content is to be in it. With requests the person asking for the art may be all over the place for what content they want. Commissions force them to really think and be stable for what they ask for!
1. It just doesn't feel right to do it for free:
Even if the person who asks for a request is really polite and the picture turns out really well, it may just not feel right to do something for free. Maybe you need/want the money just want something in return for going through the trouble of drawing for someone. Whatever the reason you're not feeling good about doing it for free so you charge.
Now why did I write this journal? I wrote it because sometimes people act like people are greedy for charging for art I want to show some good reasons for doing so. For asking for monetary compensation for drawing for a person. I think both the artist and the person asking for the art should understand each other. People shouldn't demand art and act like someone is greedy for charging for it for the above reasons for example. Also artists shouldn't blast someone just for asking for a request.
If the person is polite and willing to take "No" for an answer I think they deserve to not be flipped off. I understand that some artists are REALLY concerned with money and are thrown off when someone just asks for something for free. But I also understand if people are willing to be reasonable, respectful, consensual and all that, that they deserve respect.
Some people honestly don't have the means to pay for art at the moment so they would rely on someone doing a request to even get anything. I mean not all requesters are self entitled people just think they should just have something from someone because they want it. They'd be more than willing to pay if they could.
So I'd say as with all interactions it's about respect and what's appropriate and reasonable to make things well.

What is up with these fuckheads?!
Posted 6 years agoI'm sick and tired of soulless assholes hacking Furaffinity with DDOS attacks for example today.
Seriously what is up with these fuckers and ruining sites? I mean what god damn asshole destructive people.
Look assuming the attack is one of bigotry I get not every likes furries. Not everyone is into the fandom. Not everyone is even interested in learning more. I get that.
But for assholes to hate something so much that they have to go and destroy it is intolerable. I mean it's the "If I don't like it, it can't exist." mentality going on here. It's just so petty and the same assholes that do this would hate it if someone did that to their stuff, I guarantee it. It's "Respect for me, but not for thee." going on here too.
If these assholes can't be brought to justice there has to at least be a way to keep them at bay from ruining the site. All I can think of is making a better security system.
So yeah, you're free to dislike but your not free to destroy someone's hobby.

Some people are so pointless
Posted 6 years agoSeriously, sometimes when I compliment other people's avatars on Second Life they go and insult mine.
I was just on Second Life, I compliment this one guy's avatar and he goes and and says I need a good one. I tell them "Okay? This is a good one and it costs over a 1000 dollars by the way." After some unpleasant back and forth he says that "Whatever that isn't his thing and that even so I come off as a troll and that he derendered me."
WOW some people. I mean giving someone a compliment is a show of goodwill so why respond with hostility? Why degrade someone when they're saying you look nice?
I'm not expecting anything in return I'm just thinking people wouldn't see a compliment as an opportunity to be so rude. I mean someone says something nice, why say something mean back?
It just sucks when bad people exist whether they be assholes, bullies, rapists, murders, etc.
When you run into someone or that someone runs into you and they happen to be a bad person it just hurts.
Well anyway I think since we all exist on the same planet, it'd especially be good for us to get along.
Basic decency shouldn't have to be earned, just don't be a dick I guess.

Alright! 10000 page views!
Posted 6 years agoThank you everybody for getting me to 10000 page views! It took a while but due to my art and your viewership I finally got there!
Thank you!
Thank you!
The furaffinity community needs work (Needs Updating)
Posted 6 years agoI mean people don't get along as well as they should as often as they should. I've seen or heard about a lot of crap including some that happened to me. This is what I've observed:
1. Unwanted Roleplaying - Roleplaying is when you type out an action to someone as if you're really doing it to them. For example, "Snuggles up next to you." or to be much more explicit "Inserts dick into you."
Anyways not everyone consents to that yet a lot of people do it. I've even heard an artist say he was sick of it happening to him. While isn't never happened to me, just because you can't relate to someone's victimization doesn't mean it's not important because IT IS. Victimization is victimization and must be stopped or even additionally punished.
Anyways before roleplaying ask first/check to see if they even do that stuff and what the rules are.
2. DEMANDING Requests - Now I'm NOT talking about artists being snappy if you ask for a request or even if they do/why they don't do requests. That is something different. What I'm talking about is I hear about people complaing about people DEMANDING requests. Not asking, DEMANDING as in saying that they must do a request for them. This is wrong for a number of reasons:
One, you're not entitled to art whether it be free or not. People's labor should be done consensually, on their own terms, and within their comfort zone.
If they don't feel right about doing art for someone they shouldn't have to do it.
Two, some people do art to make money so it makes sense if they will do art for you to charge you for it. I mean it's a job and jobs pay money. These people are called commissioners and someone of them rely on being a paid artist to financially survive so it especially makes sense for them to charge for art.
Three, some people don't like the things they get requested to draw. I mean, if person after person just keeps suggesting things to draw which the artist doesn't like then making a request isn't going to feel right.
Four, people are rude about it. People can be too demanding on requesters in particular so that isn't pleasant to deal with. They can ask for change after change and not be satisfied with the end product whatever the case. This is sad.
It's sad to do art for someone whether paid or not for them to be rudely unsatisfied.
So those are the reason I can think up for now. Keep them and others in mind when asking for requests.
3. Spamming - Yes this site has a spamming problem. I mean people have sent me PMs for dating and sex and all that even though it's against the rules plus I didn't show any sign that I'd ev

Again?!
Posted 6 years agoThis is the 2nd time a person has insulted me for being an anarchist.
This is what they wrote: ancaps are morons with no life experience, I dont want to "debate" you. Youre a nerd lol
I just wrote a comment on one of their pictures that wasn't even about anarchy, they go to my page, find out I'm an anarchist and then berate me for it... Just wonderful.
Look don't insult other people for their beliefs especially if you just want to have ignorance and an insultive talking point.

Blocked by a statist
Posted 6 years agoI got blocked by a statist yesterday who I can tell she's a statist by what she said (which wasn't much) about me supporting anarcho-capitalism.
She wrote this in the shouts.
"Hey, I don't normally do this, but I'm stopping in to tell you that your political ideology is literally fucking nonsense that contradicts itself. What the fuck, dude."
You know how I found out I was blocked by her? I tried sending her a PM about what she said of me but then Furaffinity says "This user has blocked you." so so much for her getting that personal message.
So what I have to say about all this is that she's and people like this are stupid. I mean you don't go and bash someone for their way of thinking, block them and then not even give an argument on why they're so wrong. That's not mature at all.
Yeah, not everyone get on board with anarchy I understand that. The idea of just no state, is scary I mean we're born, raised by, raised in, acted on by and live in it. So for it to go away just feels empty and wreckless. I mean were raised by an entity that steals our money to pay for police, firefighters, paramedics, infrastructure, military, education as well as the war on drugs, truancy laws, nsa spying, eminent domain and other stuff and then some schmuck such as me comes by and says "We don't need to do it that way. There's a better way called anarcho-capitalism." and everyone just stares at the guy in fear, disbelief and and even sneer.
I mean that's scary for you to live in a system you're not necessarily all accepting of but nonetheless feel it should be there and then someone just wants to throw that system away and replace it. That's scary, government is comforting, anarcho-capitalism is scary.
Anarcho-capitalism sounds good if you're an anarchist or even minarchist who is someone that isn't going all the way to that point at least not yet, but for anyone else it's TERRIFYING. I mean you're talking about getting rid of the entity that currently protects, saves, and keeps us running and replacing it with just the market? I mean we have a freeish market that coexists with the government but talking about getting rid of the government and just leaving that as the remainder is unheard of!
People just aren't used to that shit and fear the absolute WORST about doing so. That we'll have chaos, tyranny, violence just all the bad stuff thanks to getting rid of the state.
Naturally when someone suggests getting rid of something people are just so used to and even accepting of just stirs them up and can entice them to insult such people like this person did to me.
But that's not right, if someone disagrees with you you shouldn't shun them, that's rude. If possible you should talk to them about why they feel the way they do, that's what I try to do with someone disagrees with me is have a dialogue. Not everyone wants to if they don't I'll respect that and not get into it but if they're okay with it I'm will trying to have one.
I won't be all "You agree with evil! Stop agreeing with evil! You should just DIE!" and then just run off and not ever want anything to do with that person. I will admit I have gotten a bit preachy, pushy, whiny and self righteous at people for disagreeing with me especially when it comes to support of truancy laws, which are the bane of my existence as well as support of them. But I would NEVER shun them or hurt them. I would eventually just quit the self righteousness, back off and just let them have their beliefs their way. That's the right thing to do and in fact is the only thing I could do.
I'll disapprove of your beliefs if I disagree with them based on morality, practicality, knowledgeably, etc. but I'm at least willing to listen to them and more importantly respect you as a person.
I want people to respect me despite being an anarchist and people want me to respect them despite not being anarchists so since it goes both ways we have to meet in the middle. Respect is mutual after all.
So for this person to shout at and block me made me feel dismayed. That not only did they not respect me but they didn't even want to have a dialogue despite saying how wrong I was.
I just wish people weren't so reactive.

r/wooosh Chastising by idiots
Posted 6 years agor/wooosh to explain to those that don't know is a meme that originated on reddit but is frequently shown on Youtube as well as other sites is when you type "r/wooosh to someone who has missed a joke You know like offering a logical explanation for what has happened rather than going with the joke answer.
For example:
Guy making joke: I'm Asian! (Stretches eye holes to look Asian.)
Guy logically explaining things: You're not Asian, you're just stretching your eye holes.
Woosher: r/wooosh
Anyways basically when you r/wooosh someone, you're chastising them for not getting a joke which is why I find it cringy.
Like there's a joke where you go to any animal video for example on Youtube and then you say the animal is any animal but what the animal really is. Like you go to a cat video and you say "That's a weird bird you got there." Someone like me will say "That's not a bird, that's a cat." then someone will inevitably say "r/wooosh".
It's not even funny. I mean calling something, something it's not? That's humor? Man if that's the best some people can come up with then I'd hate to see what the worst they can come up with humor is because that's damn bad.
If the joke isn't even funny, then is it really a big deal I didn't even get it? I mean you find what the joke means and big surprise! It turns out to be bullshit like show above!
Also the frequency that this happens is really obnoxious I mean every joke you don't get someone has to go "r/wooosh". It's like "LOL! I didn't get a substandard joke, I'm an idiot! Thanks for showing me up kind, so much smarter than me stranger!"
Point is, you don't need to and shouldn't chastise someone for not getting a fucking joke. I mean if jokes are supposed to be laid back, then why are you being so aggressive to someone for not getting them? It's hypocritical to say the least. It's like "Someone didn't get a JOKE! Better put my bullhorns on and shove my influence down their throat!"
It's humor turned into bullying and I don't like that.
So yeah I've had some things I said back to r/woooshers. Sometimes I'd say "Eh, fuck r/wooosh." or "r/wooosh r/swooosh" or "This is Youtube not reddit." or most recently "r/wooosh is boring."
Seriously this is one dumb meme that needs to go the way of the dinosaurs. Not everyone has the same sense or even understanding of humor so why chastise them for it?
I just... I don't know I felt the need to write this journal because right now someone is r/woooshing me and it's just so stupid that I'm writing about this whole thing.
So yeah turning humor into aggression is bullshit. Don't do it.

Sticks and Stones Parody
Posted 7 years agoI decided to make a list of parodies of the phrase "Sicks and stones, may break my bones but words will never hurt me. I never found this to be a good saying since words can hurt and people should be mindful of what they say.
But anyway putting that aside here are some parodies of that stupid phrase!
Ones I thought up.
1. Sticks and stones may break my bones but thank goodness I got a good healthcare plan if that happens!
2. Sticks and stones may break my bones but considering we're fighting in a modern war here I think bullets are what we have to worry about.
3. Sticks and stones may break my bones but this hangover is what's currently the problem.
4. Sticks and stones may break my bones but as a person with osteoporosis pretty much anything would.
5. Sticks and stones may break my bones but I got guns.
Ones I didn't.
1. Sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me. -Rihanna, S&M
2. Sticks and stones they are my bones. -Mister Fleshcage, Tiime Splitters
3. Sticks and stones may break my bones but pucks and ice excite me -lookhuman.com, t-shirt
https://www.lookhuman.com/design/15.....-ice-excite-me
4. Sticks and stones may break my bones but haters they just jelly. -lookhuman.com, t-shirt

Are things are more heated on art sites than video sites?
Posted 7 years agoI get the impression that things are more heated on art websites, then video websites.
What do I mean by this? Well take the instances when someone insults someone's submission on an art site compared to a video one. It seems a lot more personal and hurtful.
Why is this? I have a theory which is the art is held in a higher sentimental value than a video post? Why? Well, the thing is the submission on art websites tend to be original creations. On video websites (in addition to the original content of vlogs and animations, etc.) you have all these posts of video game footage, short clips of tv shows and movies, as well as other stuff that technically isn't an original creation by the uploader. On art websites, you tend to have totally original pieces of art. Not a clip of someone's stuff even fair use wise, but a picture someone drew or collaborated on. When people insult something such as that as a opposed to a video post of tv show clip that tends to hurt more.
I mean this is something you worked on, NOT a clip of Spongebob for example and some dick is insulting it. When you work on something you tend to rightfully expect that people at the very least won't insult it, but they do anyway. You have an inherent link with your work then just fair use of someone's stuff which as a result probably wouldn't hurt as much.
Another thing I noticed is it seems to get more intense with just other people insulting each other as opposed to to the uploader. I mean things can get nasty with the depth and schematics of flaming/trolling on Youtube maybe Vimeo but art websites such as Deviant Art and Furaffinity? Yikes!
In addition to this observation I think it's important to make the case for "Treat others with respect/Treat others the way you want to be treated/Treat others the way, they want to be treated/Don't be a Dick" principle. Yeah I know it's a basic principle but since people being assholes is still a problem I think it still needs to be talked about.
What I'm getting tired of hearing is the whole "It's the internet, get used to it!" justification for being an ass. Breaking moral code to the point of commonality, STILL DOESN'T JUSTIFY IT. Being bad still harms people, and if it becomes common then that's even worst then it being uncommon.
When you use this argument you're basically saying if enough people do something bad then it doesn't really matter. That we should just "Get used to it and grow some thick skin." I will say that since it happens a lot it is important to be able to endure it but I will NOT justify it to any degree whatsoever.
I bet the same group of people that use this notion would be considerably shaken up if someone were to treat them like shit and at most couldn't do anything about it and at the least still got hurt by it even if they could. It's so easy to disregard someone being wronged by another until it happens to you.
So yeah, things seem to get more heated on art sites than video ones and whatever the case people should be nice. I mean the NAP is meant to be follow plus kindness doesn't have to be submissiveness/weakness. It can be truly benevolent.
It would be nice to just see more peace in general I must say.
