Mom got out of the hospital a couple days ago and is doing well, though still a bit sore

I'm going to be working on getting back into art and getting commissions done this weekend.

Update: okay things are not as bad as i thought, it just hit me really hard emotionally. My mother was taken in to get her gall bladder removed yesterday. Everything went well and they decided to keep her over night, so i had gone home for the night. I got a call early this morning that they had to move her to the icu cus her blood pressure was really low.
This hit me really hard. About 8 years ago ago, she had been in the icu and was all but on her death bed. It brought back a lot of bad memories.

Thankfully, when i got here today, she was doing a LOT better. She just had a little bit of internal bleeding from the surgery, so they got a blood transfusion in her and now she's stable and has been looking so much better just in the several hours ive been here. They plan to have her back into a normal room by tomorrow.

I'll probably still be very off and on here and comissions will still be delayed some till she's out of the hospital.


God hospitals make my anxiety go through the roof.

I havent been able to draw at all or be on the computer really for the last week, but my shoulder has finally begun to quit hurting so i managed to doodle some today -u-

I've been making myself dabble around more with traditional sketches lately, I just came to the realization that it seems i've never posted any of my traditional art here o.0

Gunna remedy that over the next couple days and post some stuff. I havent been drawing very much traditionally over this last year until recently, so most of it wont be old stuff. that and i reeeeaaaaally dont wanna dig up the sketchbook i was using previously to my current one 8D;;

I kind of want to take some traditional sketch commissions too at some point if anyone would be interested. They'd be around the same price as my digital sketches, plus a bit extra if you want the original drawing shipped. I wouldnt be doing anything with traditional color just yet (i need to get my prismacolor pencils out of storage, and then relearn using them first xD;;). But i could do digital color over them. hmmm....

i better get to posting, i feel like im just rambling now...

just letting you guys know why i've disappeared for a few days
I've mostly been really busy with the family, but the main reason i left for a bit is because i managed to pull all of the tendons/muscles? on the inside of my lower right arm. Pretty sure it was from helping my mom move things around, and i had picked up something that was almost too heavy for me to move. I was good for the rest of that day, but the next morning i couldn't flex my wrist at all without it making the whole inside of my arm hurt. I've been taking it easy with that arm now and massaging the muscles i that area periodically, and is gotten a lot better. Its still bit sore, and my grip in that had still isnt 100%, but i should be able to get back into drawing in he next day or so.
