Honestly I've seen a good flood of drama posts of late. I really don't understand why some of the artist are leaving. This place is a well established forum and platform to advertise and sell your artwork. However having yourself set up on another site is probably a GREAT idea. It is just another place for people to find you and should help you bring in more money and chance for people to find you. Specially considering how unreliable FA has been lately( Which I think artists should be more upset with than ANYTHING that is happening on the forums)

Now I'm not defending anything that did or did not happen on the forums. This is the internet and just like with anything else in the world you can't trust everything you read...or see on TV. In fact the internet is RIFE with miss information and lies. And the Furry community as a whole is soooo much more prone to drama. A good chunk of our community uses it for attention. I tend to avoid it at all costs. The people here who are my friends and acquaintances know just that. I'm generally easy going, don't put up with much garbage but am happy to chat and talk about stuff or help em out. But I'm not the type to be a rumor monger or get my feelings all butt hurt because someone hugged someone or I heard someone likes the color orange. *eyeroll*

Listen, I've been around the internet a long time I've hosted forums I've been a forum mod...and I can tell you now no matter what part of the internet you end up in you will find people getting their feelings hurt and making giant drama posts. I told people flat out on my forums when they signed up that you had better have thick skin...this is the internet if you feel insulted, upset, or angry at someone's post. Please remember that this is the internet any and all things said may not be a total lie and half the time people are just trying to get you riled up anyway. Freedom of speech reigns here, with the exception of overly racist speech *which is honestly one of my few pet peeves* And I'm talking REAL racist posts not kind good friends use to insult or play with each other. Remember that 99% (prolly more than that) of the people on the internet you will NEVER meet in real life and you should understand nothing they say or do really have any bearing on your life, and you should not let it hurt you. If you can't handle that...I suggest you just not sign up for the forums.

Now than if you have made it this far...I commend you on listening to my ramblings on. Life is short don't let what other people you don't know do or say effect you too much! The real way to defeat any of the racist or trolls is to simply ignore them or feel bad for their lonely existence.

I'm just gunna start putting some of my art over there too just to have a backup gallery. Not due to any drama...but more because of the damn FA outages of late. Just in case one or the other goes down I can use the other *shrugs*

So, driving to work at 5 AM this morning I found a tree that fell across the highway. Luckly I was able to avoid hitting it head on, caught it under my front tire. Lost the tire ended up gpoing sideways a few hundred feet before heading off the road hitting a pole and doing a few 360s. The car is totaled, but I'm pretty much ok. More banged up then actually hurt. I got a few muscle relaxants and some painkillers. Sooooo feeling a little comfortable an high right now...*grunts* Loooong day already. But looks like I'm going to be needing to buy a new car...*grunts* Merry Christmas you fuckers :P

Honestly? I feel like FA must have hired the same company that built the original Obamacare website.....down for a week? I understand that the service being provided to us is free. But really? Such outages are seriously impacting the confidence in your website and I know plenty of artists who are pretty frustrated.

So just yesterday alone I got over 50+ new watchers. Normally I go through and offer some random bit of thanks. But just a little overwhelming at this point. Plus things need doing on the RL side of things at the moment and with all the extra people watching it would take me over an hour to go through and be nice...besides I'm a grumpy Khyn so being overly happy nice is a damn stretch! having to do it over 50+ times would exhaust my yearly supply of nice in an hour and make me have to hurt things! *grins*

Anyway so I wanted to post up a journal and say THANK YOU to all the people who have commented on my char and have thrown watches at me. I appreciate all the kind words! I find it kind of amazing I have 600+ watchers for someone who doesn't produce their own artwork! That said I started writing a little story with Nusair not to long ago but I hit some writers block...(other wise known as lack of motivation and laziness) So I really haven't worked on it much. But I think this is a bit of inspiration to get back into it. So stay tuned for original content! Also, more art to come obviously! I still have 4 pieces in the works from three different artists there may be some pron in there too

OK another thing, perhaps I will have another raffle around Christmas time just to make up for all the Grumpy Khyn attitude :P and get into the Holiday spirit. I will likely be doing some game/movie reviews as well this up coming year. So if you guys have any games in particular that you wanna know about shoot me a reply on here! I can get some extra info on some stuff or personal hands on time..or at least try. I have to many god damn games so :P you may hear my own damn experiences too!

So I've said something about this a few times in the past few months. Well things have finally calmed down enough IRL and given me some extra bills and time to kill. So here is your chance to win some free art with Nusair!

First off, no artist has yet to be selected! Once you win we will discuss suggestions for the artist and together we will decide what kind of art it will end up being. Any gender is welcome and art wise anything from Clean/Violence/Nudity/Adult ( However I don't do macro stuffs/vore/megafat/diapers/baby/scat ) Those restrictions aside things are open to discussion! This will be a 2 character bit of artwork, if someone wants to include a third character (either one of mine or yours) I only ask you pay for the additional character slot for what ever artist we decide on!

Running four miles is not so bad after a night of drinking....but running four miles in the hills of San Francisco after drinking is like murder....though the squirrels seemed to not be bothered by the uncomfortable wreching two feet away from them.

So as of tomorrow morning I will be boarding a plane to Chicago and then getting on my next plane on my way to San Francisco! I'm gunna be down there doing the vacation thing for a few days. So I won't be around so much till then. Hopefully I won't get lost doing any hiking!

So me and the other half went to go see RIPD in 3D this afternoon. I admit, when I saw the previews for it I was pretty excited. I do enjoy Jeff Bridges he generally always does a great job on his movies. That said the movie isn't overly long and it felt about just right in terms of length. It didn't drag on, and I wasn't left sitting there wondering if they were just desperate for fill time. The movie was pretty damn funny, I found myself rather entertained throughout the whole movie. The car chase scene was a bit dull to be quiet honest, but luckily it was a rather short part of the movie. By and large my favorite parts of the movie was getting to see the 'alternate actors' who Ryan, and Jeff's characters appeared like to normal people. Where generally very hilarious and wasn't over used. This movie did a good job balancing the humor and action scenes with out over doing either side of the equation.

Ultimately I would rank it as well worth the price of admission, but I wouldn't spend extra money on drinks or popcorn (that's an extra 20 dollars now days) If you are bit of a geek/nerd by all means you will love this movie, it is one of those great fun time B-movies that is just fun. Jeff Bridges makes the movie a good time every scene he is in!

So, where to start? Honestly I've been looking forward to this game for some time. I played the first one which was really ended up as one of those little cult classics in my own opinion. It got pretty good reviews but so few people actually played the game. I dunno why, but it just never caught on. The same could be said about a few games with a somewhat similar setting such as the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. Just successful enough for follow up before the company shut down. which is quite sad the games were actually the first unique and new game in a long time and I found them incredibly entertaining. Plus...sex! Yea you heard me. Metro Last Light isn't afraid to show a little good stuff. Sure sure there is no animated BJs or actual animated ass tapping. But you do get several opportunities to see some women wiggling their ass and shaking those tits. Hell I even paid for a lap dance...sure I didn't even know what I did at first until there was a pair of boobs being wiggled in my face. *laughs* Though fret not straight ladies and those of the more penis swinging favor. It isn't forced in your face they are really just back ground stuff but I felt that they did it tastefully enough to just fit into the atmosphere of the game.

That all said this game managed to follow up the first game with a really great experience. In fact for no reason at all well playing the game I found myself genuinely freaked out. Even guilty at times, I found myself backing down hallways afraid of sounds, or not wanting to spend to much time looking in other directions for fear of what I may actually see. The game did a WONDERFUL job of drawing you in, the atmosphere was there, claustrophobic, dark, and really let you wonder if you wanted to spend the ammo shooting things or just run. In the world of Metro ammo is money...the more ammo you have the more you can buy later...better guns or modify them. And if you do end up playing I strongly recommend playing in Ranger mode, it is harder, there is less ammo and you need to think about what you are doing before you pull that trigger. It is a much more rewarding play through.

Now down to get to my thoughts on the storyline. (Again no spoilers so read freely) If you haven't playing the first game, no need to fret. Though you step into the role of the exact same person as you play in the first game. They drop enough hints and fill you in on anything important that happened to keep you out of the dark. Though one very surprising thing to me was the fact that the game proceeds on the idea that you in fact...chose the dark ending of the first game. Which isn't something you see to often in games. In fact it had me a little upset at the beginning of the game but I came to understand it and it made for a much richer story to tell along the story of the new game. There are a few twists, turns, and the bad guy feels like a bad guy. No...he isn't some poor miss understood emo fellow, he knows what he is doing...and he doesn't quite care what gets in his way. It is painfully refreshing when they don't try to overly humanize the bad guys to force the player into some deep physiological struggle with himself. Sometimes you just want to enjoy the fact you are fighting bad guys! Now...the ending. LOVE IT...this game has an ending that not only made me scream "EAT SHIT ASSHOLE!" But I did it and pumped a fist well scaring the dog and the other people in the room. It did follow it up with a bit of a round up and explained the results of the actions of course and I felt that it all got cleaned up well enough. In fact the ending was something I feel some of the big name game producers should take a look at and learn something from. (( I'M LOOKING YOUR WAY EA....YEA MASS EFFECT 3 pick-o-matic ending with 3 choices...zzzzz))

Honestly a good solid game, it had some good feeling put into it. Plus Communists, Nazis, Monsters, Mutants, and just plain creepy stuff. WHAT ISN'T TO LOVE? At any rate it is a buy, and I also suggest getting the first game as well. Just to get the full experience. I'm pretty sure we will be seeing another game in this series though so I also look forward to it.

So I got a coupon on steam for 75% off Shogun 2 to give away to anyone who wants it. I would prefer to give it to friends first. But hey chances are they may not want it! So leave a message and I will consider your plea!
