Hey peeps!! hope you had a great Xmas and a fresh new year start!
I'd love to ask you for suggestions for the next upcoming adopts, I mean, what'd you like to see, specifically speaking? I have been thinking between:
A) More chimeras (monster from several mixed species)
B) reptiles of any kind
C) more animal related (non-monster things and stuff)
D) other... (comment!)
In other news I'll return to my state in two and half weeks aprox. (between January 20th to be exact)
once I return home again I'll update about all I have planned with the commish opening♥ that'll include some personal stuff also

Thoughts/opinions on a possible multiple YCH icon?

Some days ago I was in a toothy mood so I made a thing but didn't had a clear idea so I was thinking about offering it as a YCH, but also thought of it about being multiple...
It won't be a base tho, I never liked doing something using pre-made things since I like the organic feel of the lines...if you know what I mean. Like, the lines/anatomy will be adapted to the character and not the other way around.
Of course, with some logic... per example, will be kinda dumb to try adapting the drawing from a canine anatomy mouth to a reptile snout, I mean, if it requires to be heavily modified then no.
The icon in question will be this one

Posted 8 years agoOn wednesday I went to a local slaughterhouse as a practical departure from one of my actual favorite subject of this semester: Pathological Anatomy.
And man...I'll only say that it was pretty brutal... I was able to witness the complete killing process. It really makes you think about the little we know about how the meat "is prepared" and how it arrives at the supermarkets.
I hadn't felt the inspiration to make a gore themed drawing in years until now, like, a real bovine slaughterhouse drawing.

So for the next batch of adopts, there will be a big crab boy ;) and also there will be more bad boys to offer since we're in spookytober and I have to honor the month.♥

Since I've finished everything I had pending in my current to-do list... I'll be informing that I'll be going out of town by this friday.
I'm going to be visiting my pupper♥ And I'll be back again in september.
At that time, commissions will depend mostly on what my school may say about classes, since it was announced that we were going to attend classes again on september 14th.

ENGLISH:
If you're interested in commission me and want to know how I work, here I'll detail you all you need to know.
MY PACE OF WORK:
Handling Queue(s) / to-do list.
In first place, I work by periods during most months of the year, I take commission ONLY AND ONLY through announcements, either via Twitter or via FA journals. (sometimes I make announcements via Facebook but isn't very common)
The quantity of slots I take will depend on the type of commission I offer; if I offer commissions with a very quick turnaround is more likely that I'll open more than 10 slots, however, if I offer a more dedicated/detailed commission I'll open less than 5 slots.
Once I have a ready and established to-do list, I'll work only and exclusively in this until all commissions are finished and delivered of said list, this, depending again if those commissions are quick or more dedicated will change the amount of time that could take me to finish it all; a list full of dedicated/detailed works can take me up to 2 months, as it could well take me the same amount of time to deliver a whole batch of 20-30 quick commissions.
Once a list is finished there will be a cooldown of at least a week (even more) where I won't open slots of any kind... it's normal that I even spend a couple of months designing and offering adoptables until I switch again the dynamics towards normal commissions again.
WAITING LIST:
I'm not a fan of waiting lists, since it goes against my inmediate way of working, I can make special exceptions from time to time, these lists will only be taken in a period of time preset by me.
AUGUST, DECEMBER AND JANUARY: PRESET HIATUS
You must also take in mind that there are special periods a year for me where I DON'T take commissions and enter in a short hiatus period: August, December and January.
These months are special to me and have become synonymous with vacations and rest, generally in this period of time I don't take commissions or update my networks.
I avoid at all costs leaving pending commissions durings these periods, so it's normal that when I take commissions, I finish them long before these special months start.
WORKING ON THE DRAWING
First I like to talk about the idea in mind, I ask for as many visual references or photos as possible. I also like to discuss what ideas the costumer has and/or wants, all with the intention of knowing how I could start the work (either being a reference, bust or a full drawing), thereafter when I already have a pre-established idea I will proceed to make the corresponding payment request of the work
I always send a first previous of the work (WIP), either the initial/rough sketch or a clean sketch to the costumer, this with the intention that request of corrections or edits can be made (in case they're needed) or so that the costumer can give their approval to continue with the next stages. If you're on a list and haven't yet received your first WIP, you may still consider yourself in wait.
During the initial WIP it's recommended and ideal to ask for corrections or edits, so if you feel something needs improvement you're free to tell me, I will do my best to give you a job you like it.
I kindly ask to not abuse in this stage; I can correct and accept changes, but if you're not clear with your own ideas and decide to continue implementing unnecesary or inconsistent changes, you will end up significantly delaying the deadline of YOUR OWN commission, not only me, but even the other costumers in the waiting list, since it forces me to dedicate myself even more to a single commission.
The more important changes you ask, the more the additional charge may be.
Summarizing my stages of work; discussion and brainstorming are stages in wich I tend to take more of less compared to the rest of the stages; once the initial WIP have been approved the rest of the stages (clean sketch, lineart, coloring and shading) is usually faster.
PAYMENT AND CONDITIONS:
Payments can be done/and or accepted in two conditions;
🔸One/unique full payment
And
🔸Via Payment plan
(Both via Paypal only and in USD )
Payment plans can be short (less than a month) or long (up to 3 months).

PAYMENT PLANS:
You can chose to pay with a payment plan if the amount is higher that $180. Please note, this is a formal agreement and deadlines for payments must be established.
🔸Payment plans can be of 2 months up to a maximum of 4 months (according to the price). Quotas can be done monthly or weekly, this must be agreed on a payment plan.
🔸Delay in payments will result in additional charging. (35% of interest)
🔸Unwatemarked and non-resized files will be send once the final payment is confirmed.
🔸Is there's additional art that was offered to be made with the commission, the work is going to be started once the final payment is made.
Delayed payments
Communication is fundamental for both the commissioner and myself, so if you think you can't make the payment during an established date you can always send me a message explaining your situation, in that case the punishment fee won't be applied and the payment can be made within the next payment cycle without problem.
(Although have in mind the artwork / design or adoptable will not have any more progress until the final payment have been made and checked.
🔸Lack of communication will result in extra fees applied to the final payment and commissioner won't be permitted to have any Payment Plans with me in the future (This apply to commissions, adopts or designs)
🔸Have in mind this is a FORMAL agreement, you must be compromised and serious when it comes to agreed payment dates.
🔸If you feel you won't be able to continue with the payment plan, you can request a cancelation and the paid amount (if there's any) will be refunded. There will be a fee compensation applied, read below:
🔸Cancellations and or refunds of the payment plan will come with a fee compensation of the paid amount; 20% of fee will be applied if the delay is up to three weeks over the agreed date. 30% of fee if the delay is way longer than three weeks.
🔸(Commissions) If there's any work that wasn't finished before the cancellation, this will be discarded or re-used in other work.
🔸In case of being and adopt or design, the character will return to me and will be put up for sale again. (can be flat-sale or auctioned)
LIMITATIONS TO CONSIDER.
I consider myself very versatile in terms of drawing any type of creature or animal; from canines, bovids, felids, hyenas, rodents, birds, reptiles, dragons to humans, humanoids or monsters. (In my gallery you can find all the examples you need)
So far I have not had any complications when drawing some kind of animal.
I would consider the mechanical characters, armor, and mechas to be challenging for me because I have drawn them rarely, therefore I could not promise a perfect quality if I ever draw one but I'll try my best to give you a work artwork.
Currently I can draw ferals/quads without complications.
DELIVERY.
I will upload the finished drawing to my different galleries (Twitter, Facebook and Furaffinity) unless you specify you don't want it to be public, in that case I will send it to you privately via puush or sta.sh.
You can ask me for the original size version of your commission, since the versions that I upload to the network tend to be small compared to the original. (between 2000 to 8000px)
REFUND:
A refund is possible in the event of a fault on my part, either because more than 2 or 3 months have passed without any progress with the drawing or for any other reason that is personal problems or emergencies that prevent me from guaranteeing you security with your commission, etc.
A full refund is only acceptable if I don't have any type of advance. But, due to my immediate way of working this is unlikely to happen
TERMS OF SERVICE: ADOPTABLES & CUSTOMS
CUSTOMS:
🔸I can work with color palettes, moodboards, photos or even text descriptions for ideas.
🔸 I will always send WIPs for corrections and approval.
RULES - AUCTIONS & BIDDINGS:
🔸Anonymous bids are ok. You can send me a note here or via Twitter so I can place a bid for you.
🔸If the winner of the auction doesn't end up completing the process or decides to cancel at last moment, the second major bidding will be choosen.
🔸Payment after closing auction should be made in the first 72 hours or the second highest bid will be selected. // If the winner chooses to pay with a payment plan the initial payment should be made in the first 72 hours or the second highest bid will be selected.
🔸If the payment is made with currency different from US dollars (CAD, EUR, GBP, etc) foreign payment must have the same value to USD dollars.
🚫Newly created accounts are not allowed to bid.
🚫Guilt tripping on me or others bidders won't be tolerated.
🚫I'm in the right to cancel or deny an user the right to bid -This could happen as penalty-
🚫Fakebids and ghosts will not be tolerated.
If you break any of these rules you'll be listed in my blacklist and won't be allowed to participate in future auctions or buying adopts.

THINGS TO CONSIDER:
I consider my own designs to be more or less complicated to draw, so if you want to lower it a little you're welcome to do so, this can apply to any adopt or custom you have got from me.

Si estás interesado en comisionarme y quieres saber como trabajo, aquí te detallaré todo lo que necesitas saber.
MI RITMO DE TRABAJO:
Manejo con las listas.
En primer lugar, trabajo por periodos durante la mayoría de los meses del año, tomo comisiones SOLO y UNICAMENTE a través de anuncios, ya sea en mi cuenta de twitter o via journals de FA. (A veces anuncio slots via Facebook pero no es muy común)
La cantidad de slots que tome depende del tipo de comisión que ofrezca; si son trabajos con entrega muy rápida es probable que abra más de 10 slots, en cambio, si son trabajos sumamente dedicados abriría 5 puestos o incluso menos.
Una vez tenga una lista de comisiones pendientes trabajaré única y exclusivamente en ella hasta dar por finalizada y entregada todas las comisiones de dicha lista, esto, dependiendo de nuevo de si son trabajos rápidos o dedicados, va a cambiar mucho la cantidad de tiempo que me tome terminarla; una lista llena de trabajos dedicados puede tomarme hasta dos meses, como bien podría tomarme la misma cantidad de tiempo entregar un lote entero de 20-30 comisiones rápidas.
Una vez dé por finalizada una lista habrá un cooldown de al menos una semana (incluso más), donde no abriré slots de ningún tipo... Es normal que incluso pase un par de meses diseñando y ofreciendo adoptables para luego cambiar de nuevo la dinámica hacia comisiones normales.
LISTA DE ESPERA:
No soy fan de las listas de espera, ya que va en contra de mi forma de trabajar inmediata, más puedo hacer excepciones especiales de vez en cuando. Estas listas solo serán tomadas en un período de tiempo prestablecido por mí.
AGOSTO, DICIEMBRE Y ENERO: HIATUS PRESTABLECIDOS
Debes tomar en cuenta además, que hay períodos especiales al año donde NO tomo comisiones y entro en un corto periodo de hiatus: Agosto, Diciembre y Enero.
Estas fechas son especiales para mí y se han convertido en sinónimo de vacaciones y descanso fijo, generalmente en este periodo de tiempo no tomo comisiones ni actualizo mis redes.
Evito a toda costa dejar comisiones pendientes durante este período, asique es normal que cuando tome comisiones, las termine mucho antes de empezar estos meses especiales.
TRABAJANDO EN EL DIBUJO:
Primero me gusta conversar sobre la idea que se tiene en mente, pido la mayor cantidad de referencias visuales o fotos que sea posible. Tambien me gusta discutir que ideas tiene y/o que desea el cliente, todo con la intención de saber que es lo que quiere para llevar a cabo el trabajo (ya sea una referencia, un busto o un dibujo completo) de ahí en adelante cuando ya se tenga una idea prestablecida procederé a realizar la solicitud de pago correspondiente al trabajo.
Siempre enviaré un primer avance del dibujo (WIP), bien sea el bosquejo inicial o un bosquejo limpio al cliente, esto con la intención de que se pidan correcciones, en caso de necesitarlas o para que el cliente sepa que ya su comisión entró en la etapa de trabajo. Si estás en una lista y todavía no has recibido el primer WIP, puedes considerarte aún en espera.
Durante el WIP inicial es recomendable e ideal pedir correcciones, asique si sientes que algo necesita mejorar eres libre de comentarme, haré lo posible para entregarte un trabajo con el que te sientas a gusto.
Amablemente pido que no abusen de esta etapa; puedo corregir y aceptar cambios, pero si no eres claro con tus propias ideas y decides seguir implementando cambios innecesarios o incoherentes, terminarás atrasando de forma importante el deadline de TU propia comisión, no solo a mí, sino incluso a los demás clientes en la lista de espera, ya que me obliga a dedicarme de más a una sola comisión. Entre más cambios importantes pidas habrá un cargo adicional.
Resumiendo mis etapas de trabajo; la discusión y la lluvia de ideas son etapas en las que tiendo a tardarme mas o menos en comparación con el resto de las etapas; una vez pase el WIP inicial el resto de las etapas (Bosquejo limpio, delineado, coloreado y sombreado) suele ser más rápida.
LIMITACIONES A CONSIDERAR:
Me considero muy vérsatil en cuánto a dibujar cualquier tipo de criatura o animal; desde cánidos, bóvidos, félidos, hienas, roedores, aves, reptiles y dragones. (En mi galería puedes encontrar todos los ejemplos que necesites)
Hasta los momentos no he tenido alguna complicación al dibujar algún tipo de animal.
Consideraría que los personajes mecánicos, armaduras y mechas podrían ser un reto para mí porque los he dibujado muy poco, por lo tanto no podría prometer una calidad óptima si llegase a dibujar uno.
Actualmente puedo dibujar ferales/quads sin complicaciones.
ENTREGA:
Subiré el dibujo finalizado a mis distintas galerías (Twitter, Facebook y Furaffinity) o bien puedes especificar que no quieres que sea público y te lo enviaré de forma privada via puush o sta.sh.
Puedes pedirme la versión tamaño original de tu comisión, ya que las versiones que subo a la red tienden a tener un tamaño reducido en comparación al original. (entre 2000 a 8000px)
REEMBOLSO:
Un reembolso es posible en caso de haber una falta de mi parte, ya sea porque han pasado más de 2 o 3 meses sin haber ningún tipo de avance con el dibujo o bien por alguna otra razon que sea problemas u emergencias personales que me impidan garantizarte seguridad con tu comisión, etc.
Un reembolso total solo es aceptable si no tengo ningún tipo de avance. Pero, debido a mi forma de trabajar inmediata es poco probable que esto suceda.

Posted 8 years agoabout a own species I created years ago like, in 2014 I think... their original name is "Gloom cat" and basically are some kind of felines that lives in caves and has a particularity about creating their own tails. I still have their old bases and description sheets but now I started to think about re-doing them. Mostly for the art, their lore itself it's still pretty solid and interesting (even for me, who I created it)

I'll try to be more productive this weekend since I haven't any important exams this coming week... I have now a personal project in mind wich means that I need to start saving up for something really important.
