Saw Watchmen opening night. Arrived two hours early expecting droves of crazed fanboys. Only me and friends. Perfect Seats. Theater filled hour before start. Previews started. Star Trek looks amazing. Movie starts, theater goes silent; completely. Watch, chuckling at moments I remember from the novel. Left out some bits of comedy. No Black Freighter story. Costume designs great except for Ozymandias. Fight scenes great although 300-esque technique was a bit tiring. Blue penis. Sex scene. Graphic gore. A movie in its own league. New era of movies? Censorship non-existent. Ozymandias's pet lynx-thing looked great, although color was off and name was changed. Overlying plot was also changed. Easier for time restraint. Overall good movie. Will see again.

I know I haven't posted anything for a bit, but I have been drawing...every now and then. So now to upload a couple of sketches.

For anyone who actually reads this journal, go ahead, ask a couple of questions. I don't bite...hard ^.^

So I got back from my vacation to Hollister Missouri a couple days ago. I enjoyed t greatly. I got a new hat, some Chinese meditation balls, a heap of incense and hydra statue burner, got to see my brther and his wife, went to a fish hatchery and fed some fish, walked along a river, skipped stones on a different river with my dad (it was kind of a father/son moment), and had some delicious hot apple cider.

It was a good vacation to say the least. And New Years day I got together with a bunch of friends, started a bon-fire and popped some fireworks. It was good seeing everyone again.

I hope everyone had a happy holiday and will have a great new year.

My resolution is to lose my stomach, improve my art, write more, and move out of my parent's house.

I'll be on vacation from the 27th to around the 30th in Missouri, just below Branson to visit my brother. A heads up for anyone who cares.

I beat Fable 2 today and I'll give my impressions. Don't worry no spoilers.

THE BAD: It was a bit buggy (people walking through walls), and I read about more bugs than I experienced. My 360 froze on me once, but that was after almost 8 hours of continuous play. The characters you interact with during your travels could've used some more backstory and development. The dog's AI fumbled at times.

THE GOOD: It was entertaining. Their were points I laughed aloud, mostly a maniacle chuckle as I was playing an eeevvviiillll character. I found myself talking to my dog (which I named Fenris after the Norse wolf god Fenrir). The storyline was engaging and I was impressed by the size of the world. I love the combat system, although the spellcasting is a bit strange.

OVERALL: A very fun game and a definite buy if you like RPG's.

For anyone wondering I chose Skill to be my main focus. I used a katana and rifle/pistol most of the game. The only magic I used was Time slow and Raise dead.

After I complete all I can on this character I'll start a new one and play a different way. Thus is my appeal to this game; replayability.

So I'm back from my 9 day evacucation (evacuation/vacation) and wow do things pile up. 485 new messages O.O

So to wrap things up nice a quick here's an update list:
1. Went to my aunts house in Dallas, TX.
2. Got to spend time with her rottweiler Rocky (I will miss him)
3. Ate some delicious food my cousin cooked.
4. Found a great shop called Entertainmart (used DVD/CD/game emporium)
5. No damage to my house. Fence blown over and minor damage to my shed.
6. Keeping the boards up for Ike just in case he decides to jog north.
7. Ready to draw some more stuff ^.^

So there's an update for all who care. Be safe everyone ^.^

Option 2 for me and my family...I don't really wanna go but they are making me. I bought a DS for the trip to Texas (where we are evacuating to) along with FF IV so I can't complain much.

For everyone who is going to be affected by the storm, my sympathies and well wishes go out to you.

So I'm happy that FA is back, but omg 74 new submissions, 30 journals, and a fav (the fav was very random but im not complaining). I might wait and see how many submissions accumulate in the week.

In other news: I finally borrowed Bioshock from a friend. Creepy yet fun.

I'll be uploading my artwork sometime later in the month.

Just saw Kung Fu Panda :stop: was hilarious and awesome :stop: now to wait for the flood of rule 34 :stop:



In other news, I am now officially a WOWfag. Bought it tonight, yet cant play it right away because Blizzard has to put the game on a DVD not CD and my computer has no DVD drive. So now I have to download the full client...started 10 minutes ago and still at 0%. The things I do for friends :P

Well, against my prediction my Idol choice David Cook wins the whole shebang. It was a great season. I'll most likely buy David Cook's, Jason Castro's, and Michael John's CD's.

Many of you probably don't know this but I watch American Idol. I'm a David Cook fan but I think David Archuleta has the competition in the bag. I just hope he can handle winning. Lets hope he doesn't faint or blow chunks when he's announced the winner.
