Hey friends! In addition to my regular, full-priced commissions, I've also started taking what I sort of like to call "Bored @" commissions. So like- i have around 5 hours in between classes on Tuesday and Thursday where I'm.... really not doing much. And one of my jobs has a lot of dead time where there is literally nothing to do.

I make it a point to have drawing utensils on me most of the time and I happen to own a small sketchbook that I enjoy making sort of loose, inked pictures in. They don't usually take a long time to make so- if anyone is interested in a $5 drawing, please drop me a line!

I will try to actively update wether or not the boredom commissions are open on any given day but- through the end of this semester it's probably safe to assume that they are open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays!

i also to my best to guarantee that a commission started on any one day will be completed before I go to bed on that same day and I'll probably post all of the pictures from that day together the following day and/or just as soon as I know that everyone has seen theirs.

Hey friends! Yesterday was my birthday, and I wanna make something for you!

So here is the dealio: I am gonna have some livestreams throughout the week! The times are as follows: Saturday, September 12, from 10am to 12:45pm, Sunday, September 13th, from 7-10pm, pdst, Monday, September 14th from 9am-12:45pm, and Wednesday, September 14th from 9am-12:45pm. There WILL be a final stream on Friday, September 18 but I am undecided on the time. It will either be from 9am to 12:45 pm, or from 9pm to 11pm, pdst. I am undecided- and it’s possible that I may decide to do both!

What I wanna do is this: The first 2-4 streams during the week will be fanart request streams! Doesnt have to be canon- fun AUs or simple fancharacters are alright, too. Remember that these are free! So they’ll be first come/first served, and any particular level of completion will depend a lot on how interesting or enjoyable a particular character or scenario is- I’ll do my best to produce readable sketches, though.

i will also be holding a raffle! There will be 3 winners who get a free commission- so guaranteed art (of anything, though Original Characters/settings are encouraged) either rendered in Ink or traditionally inked and digitally colored (like in the examples above!) And the winners will get to choose based on personal preference.

Winners will be chosen (via random.org) between 1 and 4pm pdst on Thursday, September 17.

How it will work is more or less as follows: Every time you show up at one of the first 4 streams is an entry. You’ll have to tell me who you are and the the best website to use to get a hold of you (tumblr or twitter or weasyl or w/e) and I’d prefer you hung around to watch the stream, but it’s alright if you need to jet right after you enter.
You get an additional entry for every stream you show up to (for a max of 4 entries.)

On Thursday, I will contact all 3 winners. They’ll have until the stream starts on Friday to get back to me about what they would like me to draw for them!
If you win, you don’t need to be present at the stream but please be aware that I will not be sending W.I.P.s- so your only chance to make changes will be if you are present! Additionally, if I don’t hear back from a winner by the time the stream starts, then I will pick a new winner to take their place from the pool of people who are both entered in the raffle and present at the stream on Friday.

I have really…… really been putting this off because I hate being that guy who begs for commissions, but it’s been like 3 months and I am still grossly underemployed and I got BILLS dangit.

I got 3 things right now that are important- this isnt everything, it’s just the stuff that needs to be paid in the next week or so.

2: Cat food (I can get away with as little as $25 but i’d like $100 so I can get them better food and more than 3 weeks worth)
3: Testosterone! I am just about to finish off my last vial this week and I need something like $150-180 or so to get the rest of this scrip filled (and then i’ll be good for 3ish months and then hopefully i can start getting it cheaper when i get my next prescription :3)

Icons are STILL JUST FIVE BUCKS!
There are ~18 left at that price, and then they go back up to $10 each. The discounted ones will be used to help pad out my examples!

Convention Badges are $20, and that price includes lamination, a badge clip, and shipping!
They are done in traditional media (mostly markers,) and you will be receiving the original. I will take a scan of it before I laminate it so that there is a backup copy. If you would rather i laminate the copy instead of the original- it does cost extra, but i can do that for you.

Inks start at $40. They’re usually done in ballpoint or pilot petit pen on 7x10in paper.
By default, they are not fully rendered in ink, but I am willing to and can do that. (I actually really enjoy rendering things in ink, and most of my examples are of that.)
Most inked pictures will be $40 but some factors will make the price go up! (factors include things like More than 4 characters, super detailed background, complicated action, more than 2 revisions during the pencilling stage.)
Please drop me a note we can discuss. (if you don't like the FA note system that's alright too- send me a note anyway and I will get my email to you.)
The original can be mailed to you at additional cost. (probably $3 or less, depending on your location.)

Digital Colors (which are applied underneath traditional inks) start at $60. Any traditionally inked picture can be upgraded to this kind of color picture at any time for an additional $20. The final image will be delivered to you via high-res png, and i will include a jpg sized for the internet!

So here's what's up: I am in the very early stages of purchasing a house. I am waiting on copies of my last two years tax returns and then I can send in my mortgage pre-qualification application, and I hope to really be looking seriously for a place by December.
If things suddenly go horribly, horribly wrong and buying a house becomes completely unfeasible, then I will be buying a car after Christmas when all the huge sales are going on. So, that is exciting!

I am almost done with the commission for  suicidalimpulse (I am having an issue doing the grayscale fade he wants and need to remember to talk to him while I am looking at the picture; otherwise it is done!)
Other than that, the only thing that I think is outstanding is the Choir Picture, which I will set aside to do when I catch up on Missing Notes, and before I get the rest of the supplies I need to finish The River. (If you bought something from me and I totally forgot about it let me know, things have been exciting and I forget stuff even when things aren't exciting.)

I am not taking any more commissions except at conventions for the foreseeable future- which reminds me,  cthulhuscarf and I will be sharing a table in the Dealer's Den at Further Confusion again this next year, I believe!

When I have finished all the Art for The River I will begin scanning it, get a new quote from the Printer I've been talking to, and launch my Kickstarter Campaign (if you have any ideas for rewards, I would love to hear them!) (I am not sure when this is going to launch, either, I will keep you updated!)

As soon as I am completely done drawing Sir Fattingston, another comic that I am calling DaFuq (until I know what DaFuq it is,) and am done writing (and maybe thumbnailing?) Porta Custodis I am going to start posting pages for Sir Fattingston, and when that's done, DaFuq, and while those are running I am going to be working on the art for Porta Custodis. When that is finished (unless some sort of miracle happens and Drew and I finish writing Final Absolution in time) I will PROBABLY start posting/working on Mossburn Drive/Action Transvestites. (Either that or My Boy Builds Coffins, but it is most likely to be the other two.)
