many things have happened all at once and I...needed to get my life together lol
Unfortunately, my health has plummeted to the point that I can no longer keep an open commission policy. I'm sorry to all of those I have turned down, thus far;;
Please let me know if I owe you anything, I am trying to make sure all the loose ends are tied up bc I dont want to be an artist that disappeared with your money.
My activity will be sporadic, my health dictates that I more or less retire from even part time commission work. I may or may not open limited slots here and there, but otherwise ya them is putting down their stylus for the most part. I'll still post personal art occasionally, bc I cannot be completely stopped, but yeah, just want to temper expectations for the future for anyone who is keeping up with my snails pace of updates lol

a long, and likely unnecessary journal
Posted 2 years agoThank you for the comments and notes checking up on me, I really appreciate them and I'm slightly overwhelmed. It's hard to respond to, but I will try.
I figured it is only fair for me to finally make another journal, though I must say it's just more of the same. I have been rather vague, and I have abstained from sharing a lot of details with my illness with you all because it sounds like a sob story. As most people with chronic health are aware there are peaks (normalcy) and valleys (bad) with your health at any given time, and unfortunately I've been in a valley for awhile now. For awhile it was thought that I had caught covid and it perhaps worsened my illness, and the docs still dont know if that's true or not. The plain facts are as follows:
I have rheumatoid, which not only causes pain in the joints in my hands, but all the joints in my body. This sometimes includes my sternum (costochondritis) and even my skull. Once I ran a fever of 104 for several days not because I had caught a cold, but because I was having a rheumatoid flare up. It effects everything really, but I wont go into more detail than what's needed here. You can imagine what it might be like from this, I hope.
This is really only for transparency as to what's going on; why my commissions are considered limited, and why I have long periods of time where I disappear. All of that pain just makes me so tired. I am exhausted most of the time, but some days are good and I can get through a lot, but most are bad these days, and it's all I can do to get out of bed. I am not seeking pity, nor encouragement. This is so that the understanding is out there, because I do not know if I have outlined it clearly anywhere. I barely talk to anyone about it, but just professionally, I think it has to be known. I try not to give turn around times and I now warn people of my speed varying because I am sick. I have minimized my condition online and irl for a long, long time because I do not want to acknowledge how sick I am, but it's simply at the point where I can no longer do that.
However, I will say that within the next few months I will finally be able to seek real treatment for my RA. So do not fret for me, but I will continue to be in and mostly out.
Up until now I did not let anyone see how bad my condition was until it was no longer up to me. Something I do not recommend doing, even if you are trying to put up a strong front, trying not to be a burden. Neglecting a disease leads nowhere good, trust me I know. A friendly tip from your pal,

Posted 3 years agoI keep writing and deleting journals about what is wrong with me, why I have been absent, why I am so slow. I’m so tired. I can’t stay awake for very long, it’s hard to hold a stylus.

sorry I haven't been very active lately...anywhere. I caught something nasty at the worst possible time :") (after I have swapped my insurance and my insurance is fighting me about whether they exist or not despite the fact they still take money out of my bank even after I have paid them). I've lost about $600 to this nonsense. I hate it here (America).
Anyways, it's not very affordable to me currently to go to a doc even tho I only am progressively getting worse lol; but I can't afford my insurance being so flippant after they've taken so much from me already. So I've just kind of been existing in my bed. I managed to get up today so I will try to do some work..but just know everything is delayed TwT... I'm too weak to hold a stylus some days, my dudes,, but we're on week 2 so it can't possibly last much longer. Although if this keeps up by the end of this week I'll....brave the urgent care and turn out my pockets lol

I have been recovering well, thankfully. I have good hand days and not so good, but I am making me way through! Slowly but surely TwT9 my meds finally agree with me enough for me to be lucid, lol....Thank you again, continually to the people who have sent kind messages of support and everything else it is very overwhelming ;w;;...so it is hard to respond lo l,, but please know I appreciate you ♥
Ahh, but anyways, I wanted to let everyone know my Trello has been updated and has previous lists archived to be just a little neater (https://trello.com/b/Ks8NpeWP/ohmis.....mmission-queue). As I said before I still have two commissions I am trying to finish from my backlog before taking anymore slots, their progress can be seen by the labels I have put on them!
I have also added a PWYW sketch queue! These will not have labels put on them, they are there simply so the people who order those can keep track of where they are in that queue since I do not guarantee a turnaround time for those sketches!
Now, to business:
I have been asked by a handful of people now for slots once I do open my regular commission queue back up. I have already promised a couple ;w;;... This is a long overdue update; and I feel like a broken record at this point lol...
My health has been pretty bad the past couple of months, and as it's gone down my mental health hit rock bottom in tandem. Currently, I'm more or less in a med induced daze as I off board and on board meds bc my doc wants to find a different combo that actually works for me and my rheumatologist tries to find the right dosage of arthritis drug. It's all very tiring. I had a covid scare, my arthritis has progressed so my hands sort of just shake when idle, I lost a fair amount of weight as I hang on to 90 lbs by my teeth; things have been very difficult, not gonna lie.
So I've been pretty absent either because I'm passed out or I'm just too exhausted, but I'm still trying to do things, slowly but surely. I promise I haven't forgotten anyone still stuck in my queue, I will finish your commissions! I just have to fight through a lot of stuff to work nowadays.
I think... because of my situation I will release those feral dragon adopts from forever ago as "Choose your own palette" adopts, since the lines are all done; but I'm not really sure. I'm trying to slowly climb back on the horse now that I'm through the worst parts (I think, I hope). Anyways, I hope everyone has been alright, thank you for all the kind messages of support and to everyone who checked in on me 💜
I will be going through my google forms for anything I missed and I will try to be a bit more present, though its very hard right now. Thanks
Also I promise I have not forgotten about the watcher raffle!!! I am working on that as well...TwT/

As some of you may know, I am chronically sleep deprived as I have massive insomnia issues.
Unfortunately that caught up with me yesterday. I had an anxiety attack; it was terrible, I hallucinated bugs and snakes everywhere in my house and on my hands. Before my husband could get to me I 100% was scared of things that weren’t there and trying to wipe or bat away bugs that my mind had made up I couldn’t sleep even though I needed to. I had to ask my husband what was real or not, it was.. Very Bad.
I managed to sleep for 2 hours last night, and even now I can see bugs crowding the sides of my vision. I know they’re not real but I am just. Actually losing my mind.
Anyways. I am going to take a break from work as I seek medical help;; I hope it will not take too long. I apologize to those waiting in my commission queue and beg for your patience and understanding;;; I truly cannot work like this.
TLDR: I had a mental breakdown and can no longer properly function due to my lack of sleep. Therefore, I will be taking a break from working while I go to multiple doctors. I apologize for the elongated wait.

My PC has Betrayed me
Posted 3 years agoWELL my computer crashed and I lost a significant amount of progress on a couple of things. Last night it just suddenly black screened on me, and I am back to square one on a handful of the files I had open—as I tend to work on multiple things simultaneously. Luckily I didn’t straight up lose any files, just any progress I had made since I just wasn’t saving as I went along for several hours like an idiot.
I’mmmmmmm very upset lmao,,,,,
I will of course dive back into work but my god. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is redoing so much. Big sigh, I will push through and get them done. However I am gonna walk away from commissions for a day probably because I feel like I’m dying when I look at them and know how much further I was lmaO

I was forced to take Thursday off since my hand decided it didn’t want to work anymore umu;; but I hope it’ll be better once I wake up!
I have a lot of high effort commission and projects I’m hopping between right now (because I have adhd) so I’m not helping myself really lol;; however I will continue to trundle on =w=9 also apologies I missed May’s adopts but…as some of ya well know a lot of things happened to me the last two weeks of May;; so they were dropped for my sanity umu;;; hopefully I will do a batch this lovely pride month, if my hand will cooperate, anyways.
Also, I wanted to test the waters a little and see how people felt about live2d animated commissions? They would ofc come as both static and gif. I just think the dating sim spoof is so funny…I would like to do more stuff like that, but live2d is fairly time consuming and also a niche product so I don’t know about offering it for real :thinking:

I will be taking this weekend and a few days of next week off,, I apologize for the delay! I have a lot of doc appointments and I just can’t do it all uwu;;; I’m also meant to take Sunday/Monday off anyways, but generally speaking I usually work through the fatigue from my meds most weeks.

May Adoptable Batch

As a quick head's up, my May Adoptable batch is running a little behind schedule because of what happened with my hand! However, they will be going up either this week or next. As a note, they will be within the same vein as my "chibi" adoptables where they will be pre-designed with optional tiers. This batch will be based around a mix of crystals and tarot for a combined theme of "Divination". For this batch I will have 1 custom slot open, though it is more of a "mystery" slot than a custom, as you will be able to pick general things such as gender, body type, ect, but the majority of the design will be left in my hands. :)
NOTE: I will accept holds/payment plans on a person to person basis. So if you are in need to set up such a thing, please dm me and we can discuss it! Unfortunately due to some previous incidents I will no longer offer them freely. I'm very sorry!

Unfortunate incident
Posted 3 years agoMy thumb joint was crushed real bad today :”) and I don’t know what I’m going to do about that. Nothing is broken ai think but there is swelling and it hurts to use. Of course it was my drawing hand ha ha…..I am going to the doc in the morning, will report back then ugh.

Posted 3 years agoHello everyone! I’ve held off on making a journal but here we are =w=;; My hands have been slowly declining in okay-ness so I will be taking a break from drawing today and tomorrow so I apologize for the delays!
Long story short I’ve been trying to draw with my little arthritis compression gloves and wrist braces on all week and I’m gonna tell ya it’s very hard lmaO just can’t do it, so I’ve gotta try to be okay enough to not have to wear those things, which requires me to lean away from work for a little.

Posted 3 years agoI wanted to say a thank you to everyone who tipped and helped me come up with the just in case monies for my dog’s vet appointment! 💜
She is okay and as spoiled as ever! And it was a little less than I thought it’d be ;w;;/
Also wow I didn’t expect it but 2/3 of my Hisuian Pokémon designs already sold before I could make a journal about them alksdfj
Spirit Dancer is still available! A Hisuian Typhlosion/ Alolan Marrowak fusion! I’m very proud of all of these designs and so flattered that people wanted them TwT9;;;;

Posted 3 years agoits THURSDAY thank you to everyone who has bought a ref sheet! I had to close up my deluxe sheet queue =w=;; I feared taking on any more ref sheets would be bad for both me and anyone who wanted them in a reasonable time frame lmaO
That said, I'm a little short on my goal to get enough "just in case" cash for my dog's vet appointment on Saturday, so tonight, around 6-7 PM PST I will be taking in-stream commissions at a special discounted price.
These will be flat colored thigh-up's with some shading and minimal highlighting for a total of $60--two characters for $100.
NOTE: I will not take customs for instream commissions, you must give me a visual reference! Additionally complexity fees will still apply! So keep this in mind!
I will have a total of 5 slots tonight (for either singles or couples), so if you do find yourself so inclined please feel free to send me a note or a dm so I can prepare for your instream beforehand >w@ Any commissions I do not finish tonight will be finished the day after (3/25) on stream.
You do not have to be present in stream for me to do your commission if you send me the info beforehand o/ I do not mind people coming and going during a stream.
Also I would like to say I do apologize to my commissioners currently waiting in queue, I will be working on your commissions in stream if I do not get any bites TwT/ I just am worried about how much this appointment will cost me =w=;; last year it was in the ballpark of $500,,, ah the pains of having an older dog...but I love her so I will work hard to take care of her needs TwT9 !

We are moving right along through commission queue and I expect to be done with another chunk of it by the end of this coming week! Wow, so much progress >w@7

Tomorrow (Sunday 3/20) I will likely stream either working on those remaining commissions or a couple of requests from this entry.
(depending on spoons, of course) I will do my best to do more streams, but as some of my frequent visitors know I'm not very good at it uwu;; I get far too absorbed in whatever I'm doing to talk much, but practice makes perfect.
I'm sorry I chose to keep Dullahan TwT9 I couldn't let him go...!
However, I still have Local Witch Jackalope and 2/3 Poke'Fusion Mystery Eggs OPEN!
I wont be making anymore big adopts until about April, probably! However, I will be returning to my "chibi" approach from my Fairytale/Paranormal OTA's >w@/
And I may or may not continue my streak of drawing "leftovers" with Fallen Fae from my Fall Themed Moodboards in the meantime...ah so many projects, so little time.
This one is kind of a long shot, so don't count on it!
Here are the possible themes for my next monthly batch! Let me know which one you prefer?
✨Crystals/Precious Gems
✨Metallurgy (Like different types of metal things; rose gold, patina, rusted, ect.)
✨Tarot (Major Arcana with lots of stars and symbolism on them)

I have a handful of ideas for my next chibi adopt batch, but I will probably be doing something shiny, as I am wont to do.
I am also considering doing some new pokemon designs =w=...what can I say I love feudal japan perfect excuse

Remember my Paranormal OTA Adopt Batch? There was one leftover was never bought, but because she was my favorite I made her ref sheet anyways!
