Posted 4 years agoYa boy is still alive. Life has been crazy over the past nearly 2 years.
I started dating a wonderful man in July of 2019.
On and off, I've been on TikTok.
I started testosterone December of 2019.
Then Covid hit in early 2020 which has had me working quite a lot as I work in a pharmacy.
Relay was essentially canceled - it turned into an online event.
Due to the emotional and mental strain of working excessive hours, planning on my wedding, name change, and eventual move I had to step away from Relay. I am hoping to get back into Relay in the future once life settles down.
I got an english bulldog puppy in July of 2020.
I got married October of 2020.
I got CPR and immunizer certified March of 2021.
I started dabbling in photography in March of 2021.
I started the process of changing my name legally March of 2021. I am just waiting to get my social security card back with my new and preferred name to get my license updated with the correct name and gender identifier.
We are planning on moving to SC. We are hoping for July, but it is not concrete yet as it all depends on getting my and my husband's name change processes completed.
But ya. Life it moving along. I'm quiet, but I'm still here.
I miss writing and drawing terribly, but I don't have a decent word processor program or a decent tablet at the moment.

I have to move...
Posted 6 years agoOk. So I'm looking for some help. For those who might not have seen my post, I have been given the choice of either rehoming my gliders or find a new place to live. I cannot part with my kids. Cargo came to me when my dad passed away and Moira is the daughter of Cargo and Maya (who passed away). I have been wanting a place without stairs due to my knees hurting me so bad... I've had to resort to sleeping on my couch for the past two years. I have decided to move and my family has a house for rent for $700 a month and I can keep my gliders and cats. Things are going to be extremely tight for me at first, but I can do it. With this being a very last minute move I do not have the funds saved up for moving like I did the last time. If anyone is able to and would like to, I would greatly appreciate any help that can be offered. I will be including the link to my PayPal if you would like to help me with moving expenses and deposits for the trash and internet and gas for trips back and forth and a uhaul. With it being the holiday season and so much closer to Christmas, I'd like to suggest making a donation in honor of someone you know that has fought cancer and to allow us to continue the fight to make for more birthdays and longer lasting smiles.
Also, with it nearing tax time, your donations to the American Cancer Society are also tax deductible.

Posted 7 years agoOur online donations reached $5,415 and then at Relay we reached $404 in onsite donations that will be added to the Team's total shortly!

I had said that if we hit $3k I’d color all of my hair I might do it anyway if we hit that $2k mark. Word on the street is that my esteemed co-captain might have made a similar wager!!

Posted 9 years agoSo far one of our team members is holding strong in 5th as an individual participant with donations and Furries For A Cure is holding strong in 7th out of all the teams currently registered. Found out tonight at the Team Captain meeting FFAC was the first team to register this year! Woot!

I still can't believe it'll be 5 years and just how much we've grown. Our first year started with our humble $30 or so dollars in donations to last year with $7,764.31! Isn't that crazy?!
