"Mr patches"
the dinosaur was used in a re-imagine by the amazing artist's over at "project dream studios"
and they really surprised me with this one.
I had no clue and I had seen since i already followed them
((banjo kazooie is my all-time favorite childhood game))
I watched the video and screamed so loud in my home with excitement because someone included a model of mine into not just something beautiful in such a amazing scale and awesome detail.
But i was included in a banjo kazooie-inspired build.
my dream jobs are to work for rare or make a game similar to banjo kazooie.
i was crying when i saw this, im a very lonesome artist, i fear my work is not good enough to be in big projects or even small.
i love what people say and comment on my work, but mentally i have been stunted by my dummy brain for ages.
this really rejuvenated my spirits to continue doing 3d and characters, especially in a very dark time for people like myself a trans person in the usa.
its scary going outside right now, and this really brought some level of hope regardless on views.
It just feels good to feel included instead of excluded.

I and my wife are in an open poly marriage.
we have a new girlfriend whos been with us for a little bit, but the other day when we were talking she talked about how one of my characters looked familiar when I was sculpting.
she knows what I do for a living but something about the way I was making the face.
Her eyes brightened up as a lightbulb had gone off and she went to her phone and went to this site and pulled up this account going.
"WAIT I WAS ALREADY FOLLOWING YOU BEFORE I KNEW WHO YOU WERE?!"
Some know me as omocha_laroo and others know me as lizzy Koopa.
How much I plea that furafin gives us name-changing options soon.

we have now updated to include the "FBX"
i am sorry it was not included and honestly, i had no idea that the fbx could retain the materials as i am used to normally using only fbx to transfer over to substance painter for removing visible seams.
so i hope this update cheers you all up on those who had trouble.

PLEASE!
as a safety percaution, if you contact me needing your model re-worked or re-download.
Please provide to me the invoice from paypal, that is your reciept and only me and you who is the owner of the commisioned model have this.
had a scare today because two of my models have the same name and i thought it might of been someone trying to take another persons model under the guise of another commission model i did.
So yeah, please be sure to provide that.
if you are unable to provide that, please send me a reference photo of the character in question, last known user name, or a email you think you payed the invoice on so i can go to me records to retrieve the information in regards to proving you are who you say you are.

Posted 4 years agoOkay i had a client recently who got a character done by me.
Now there where some bugs and clipping issues with the model when finally entering into vrchat that they documented and showed me the pictures of it but also included in their message to me that they where having someone look into possibly having the trouble area's fixed by the person for a certain amount of money.
PLEASE! just document what problems you have by pictures and just send me these so that way i can work on them.
when you purchase from me you dont just get left with "well i sent you download file your own your own"
No, i will fix problems with my models if problems arise.
it does not cost extra, it does not cost a arm and a leg, it comes included in your package as you already bought something for a huge amount of money already.
now if it is something out of my range of knowledge i will let you know about it and then you can seek someone to do some changes if someone is offering some fixes.
my awesome customer here should not have to spend "150$" for someone to fix my fuck ups on a model they got done by me.
but also, gonna be for real here, any job thats 150$ for weight mapping issues is a scam imo.
((unless its something severe and super technical))
but using the sculpt brush to pull certain clothing to not let it clip when adjusting bones in pose mode does not justify a cost of that much.
i will fix your issues with a model you bought from me because truth be told, i enjoy my work, i enjoy improving my craft but also i respect and appreciate my customers for even hiring me to begin with and you should get exactly what you expected with my stuff.
Now i will say, please dont expect your model to be perfect out the gate.
like any dev and a game, there are bugs and bugs need to be given time to be fixed, consider yourself a customer a "tester" as well, you are checking the alpha and reporting back to me the dev on things needing to be adjusted and to be fixed.
i love yall so much and i am honestly shocked we have reached 800 watches on here and i appreciate it so so much.

multiple folder's for piece's and part's of your character with baked maps such as "normal maps, roughness maps, ao maps, etc."

but also she choose to give us from November to december.

anything to do with family is out the door.
granted covid is doing work and we are trying not to do things with loved one's, i was expecting to do something in december to at least see my little sister even with things like extra masks staying far away no hugs etc.
But yeah, this is a reason for lack of content.
i have been working on some commission work and sale's for december's sale's will be coming and while i wont be doing commissions the month of december ((Much))
i will be keeping the sale going from 240$
to 200$ for base model's when that sale happens, so i'll keep people posted who might be interested in something like that down the road.
but yeah, thought i let yall know, i am still alive, i am still doing work, just struggling with RL and artist block and the pace of what i am producing.

Also over the time i have been gone i have been learning how to create better and more optimized avatars that have vismiese facial stuff and i have to say.....
IT IS NOW FULLY AVALIBLE WITH A FULL COMMISSION!
while i had to change my price a bit more to compensate, please not, there is a lot more that comes with this now than it did prior.
So what did i include in my new sale price to compensate for such a bit of a climb for my model work?
Models now come fully baked and textured like before.
models now come rigged up and ready when made game ready and optimized for vrchat.
Models will now include "vismiese facial expressions" without having to pay for each expression for talking and come with anger, joy, smile, blinks as a default along with proper mouth movements.
Models are now "VFREEFACE" ready!

Rl has been taking over a lot of my attention and away from my computer, visiting family and trying to deal with seeing loved ones with certain restrictions and road trips that can be safe from the covid situation going on.
it's like i have been in a hazmat suit for the past few weeks now.
All and all new things are coming hopefully and re-establishing getting commissions up and running with be coming shortly.
as well going to be adding a few new other features to my workflow aka making it a lot simpler to get things into vrchat than they have been.
But making some lewd models has been a lot of fun, making some other objects that i kinda wanna put back on my second life marketplace and such seems like a fun idea as i have been looking for active games with a market place for easier selling as vrchat is mostly a "salesmen" type game and it can be kinda tiresome.
So enough of me rambling, thanks for all your support in my work and following me and giving fav's and shoutouts, it means a whole lot.

But i really wanted to work on my own stuff and now that i have been it has been a breath of fresh air and has me really diving into further teaching myself not only better methods of making my characters, but animation rigging and so much more for my future plans with my models and making them all pretty much fuck one another in comics and animations.
So yeah, i hope you all enjoy what is to come, commissions will open up pretty soon, but i wont be taking many at a time due to enjoying making my own stuff and finally feeling free from being restrained like i was a little while back.

Thicc blues clues to get a rework!
Posted 5 years agoThicc blues clues a model i made a while back will be getting a rework to have more detail than her older model and her boyfriend magenta will also be getting a rework.
it's been a year since i made that model and honestly like most things i am not happy with it, but also i think having her, having magenta and having big bunny momma will make for some nice scenes as i want to do more adult content work like adult comics, than working on commissions only in my future.

taking a small break from commissions - 2-4 weeks
Posted 5 years agoAs the title says i am going to be taking a small break from commissions.
i want to make some of my own stuff and start pumping them into my shops on "sketchfab" so people can still get cute avatars but more importantly i can start having stuff of my own and maybe start getting some idea's out of my brain than using someone elses great idea's onto my programs while mine stay in my head kicking the shit out of my brain to be let out.
I will be back and when i am back for commissions i will be posting about it and getting people back on the train of getting stuff they want done.
i just need some me time and like a lot of my awesome supporters who have been reading my nutty rants on these journals, they had some sound advice i am going to be taking into massive consideration.
make some time for myself and get some rest.
while be it i wont be restinf from doing 3d stuff, i will be resting in regards to the worry and work load that is other peoples creation's.
i will see you all very soon who are looking to hire me and i cant wait to see what you have for me, until then though, keep them ready and when the line is up i will for sure take what i can do ^w^

Que line's are a thing for me, while i struggle to make them more public with updates and such, i have people written down on my computer sticky notes for who asked for a commission.
Once you enter my que list you are labeled a number and once i can get to you i will speak and give you the run down, yada yada.
Now this is the important part.
Once i finish a commission for you, you can not expect to be able to suddenly expect another job from me right off the bat.
I am not your personal 3d artist.
while i will work with you again, please realize that once i finished one of your commissions you go to the back of the line so another customer who has been patient and waiting can now have their turn.
you can ask to be put back on the que list, that is fine and if i wish to work with you again then by all means that's cool!
But please note that just because i did a commission for you, does not mean you can now have a Disney land fast pass to jump the line's for commission work.
This will never change for me.
I have had some offer to pay me more to skip the line and have refused to do so because i deem it unfair for other people in line waiting.
i am not a "pay to win" game, and wont be a pay to win artist ether.
I enjoy being friends with my customers and doing some small talk and such, i enjoy new friends, but also don't see this as a way to get around this policy.
everyone will be treated equal when it comes to how i conduct my business and means of trying to be as professional as i can.
i have heard way to many horror stories from people who hire other artists for commissions who wait a year for their projects to be done with no word, being skipped over because someone paid to skip etc.
from many artist discord servers in voice chats and i never want to be one of those artists.
so i appreciate all of you, thank you to those who read all of this.

IF you have a reference please know what you want, please state it to me and please let me be able to put this in a invoice in the "Reciept"
The reason i make this invoice is not just for safety but its to know what you are expecting out of me.
I stick by my invoice's and i wont be giving you anything extra once i have started on your project and the invoice has been agreed upon by both parties.
SO PLEASE!
if you get a commission from me, know what you want out the gate.
I am happy to adjust changes to the model if you find trouble spots when i show you previews, that is not a concern.
But when you see previews and i inform you that the model is nearing completion and you keep saying "the model looks good as is"
know that after that agreed acceptance, you are now pushing me to go further in the process of getting it game ready.
Having to go back all of a sudden because you suddenly just thought of something to add or change once i have already put the model in motion for the final steps aka rigging and baking the texture maps after your acceptance the first time.
will only make me now struggle harder to go back and change up the model and re-do the topology all over again to be game ready.
this process takes HOURS sometimes.
so please, help a sister out and take pity on my poor brain.
Also, please know the textures you want for clothing or i will come up with something on my own and it's going to be "you get what you get"
i have had this happen to me a few times now and have had customers wonder why i have taken a bit longer to make something and it has been mostly due to "well i am waiting on you to supply me with what you want"
if you wanna give me charge of texturing something for you out of random from my brain i can do it with no problem.
But yeah, please to those wanting a model know the few things i ask.
1. have references (( does not need to be just your character, you like a fat ass a certain artists draws applied to your character? send me it and circle area's with red in gimp,clipstudio,photoshop, microsoft paint))
2. Know what kinda texture work you want done from the start, if you dont i might just reject the commission in general because it'll eat up more time for other customers who are prepped and waiting on a model.
3. speak up about edits at the start, dont wait till the end when i am at the finish line and suddenly move the goal on me after i have sent you a message of "now doing re-topology for game ready models"
not speaking up will only effect your models quality and i want your models to come out beautiful to your vision as well as i can.
so thank you all in your interest in my modeling skills, i do appreciate and love you all for giving me the best job ever witch is making art.
just i gotta kinda lay out some ground rule's as my wife has stated i kinda doormat to people who are pushing the goal line further away at the end and its only making me more tired, cranky.

IF you have a reference please know what you want, please state it to me and please let me be able to put this in a invoice in the "Reciept"
The reason i make this invoice is not just for safety but its to know what you are expecting out of me.

Viva pinata style 3d characters
Posted 5 years agoI used to play a game as a kid called "viva pinata" i was anamored by the art style of the characters and creatures in that game and have been kinda sad that we never got another game after the sequel.
the game in its self was cute and just amazing to look at and a very relaxing experience and i was curious, do people enjoy that kinda art style?
i kinda wanna dip my toes into doing stuff like that as i love the idea of animal characters that are not organic but instead made of other materials like foods or paper.

Current status for models!
Posted 5 years agoModels are still being worked on, i have multiple commissions right now that are being done and while i wish i could upload something to someone each day, i am working on so many at the moment due to the stressful nature that is our eviction that it's got me mentally drained.
the commissions are coming and nearing completion for all 9 of my customers.
so thank you all for patients and understanding of lack of preview pictures.
this is why i had extended my "model finished by 2 to 4 weeks" instead of it normally being 2 to 3 weeks.
so thank you all again for your business and they will be finished soon.

Posted 5 years agoI appreciate the hell out of everyone who has been wanting commission work and i dont normally accept 7 at a time, but with how i have sceadule my time and such with packing plus working 6 each for two models a night.
i can do this, just i might request those i am working for not request daily previews as i honestly cant stretch myself that much to do so.
your commissions are coming and will be within 2 to 4 weeks.
i am just very, very tired, been working the last 72 hours on 4 hours of sleep with nothing but fear and anxiety as i comfort my wife, and try to avoid out bullshit landlord who is pushing us out in 30 days unlawfully in many ways and i am catching her slip ups as she supplies non-court eviction notice's and threats of fear tactics toward us as we try to seek a new place and i myself paying the down payments for the first month and deposit.

Our roommate who is a fucking shewitch dictator of a person is kicking us out by august 15 and while my wife is crying and scared i am trying to hold my emotions together and trying to also scrap together what ever i can in order to make ends meat.

i...i just dont know what else i can honestly do and i am trying to cope with all of this while packing and trying to make models for people to have and use for their own creations and i am just at a lose...
