Alternate Jonesy
Posted 15 years agoOkay, Lopside has been the only one to point out the obvious on my Jonesy video games pic: You can't play GTA3 on a PS1. That's good, because it means everyone else has been lovin' on a blue bunny too much to notice the anachronism taking place in the background. However, out of respect for purists who prefer their adult furry artwork to be technically accurate, I did create an alternate version of this pic. I don't want to blow up FA's bandwidth with a nearly identical picture, so feel free to check it out over on my VCL account: http://us.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/On.....sy2011GTA1.jpg Ah, sweet GTA 1... :D
Oni lives!
Posted 15 years agoOkay, and I'm back from vacation! Lobster is tasty, the Atlantic is cold, and Maine is a beautiful state in summer!
Now that I'm back, its time to wrap up the Slumber Party, which is about fifty percent done at the moment, and after that we're switching gears slightly... or genders...
Anyone else have a good vacation this summer?

Last Call For Alchohol (Or porn)
Posted 15 years agoHey everyone,
I'm headed out on the road for a sixteen hour drive tomorrow! For anyone who normally reaches me by private message, you can still mail me while I'm away at the hotmail address below.
This is the trip I'm doing commissions to fund, so unless you're waiting on a sketch before you commit, if you know what you want and want to make sure its the first thing I do when I return (after finishing the Slumber Party, which is about 80% right now:) pop me the payment over at maj_and_john[at]hotmail.com through paypal. First come first serve.
Thanks again to everyone who contributed to the trip fund, its always a compliment to be asked for art and a lot of fun to produce it!

Commissions update
Posted 15 years agoHey everyone! Been sick this last week, which has been slowing my drawing down. But, I'm feeling good now and back at it!
If you're waiting on a commission from me, I'm working on it this weekend, and if you're still wanting one but we haven't set anything up concrete yet, drop me an instant message with what you want so I don't forget :)
My current project is to finish the Felix slumber party!

Commissions - I could take some
Posted 15 years agoHi everyone!
Time I take down that no-commissions sign for a little while. I need to get my tail up to New England in August for a family re-union, and need to generate some funds to do so.
I see some private messages asking for commissions; I hadn't checked messages in awhile so some of them are quite old, so I apologize for my late (and public) reply. If any of you are still in the market for more Felix, more Uberfuchsin, more bunnys, or just more of your own character, I've got a new set of inking pens and am ready to give it my best :)
In general, I ask $15 for B&W, $25 to make it color, $35 for shading and backgrounds and all. More for complex stuff, less for simple things.
If you're interested, drop me a private message, and I promise I'll be checking them regularly. Thanks guys!

On the subject of commissions...
Posted 16 years agoHi guys!
Since I started posting again, I've gotten a couple requests for commissions. Naturally, I only just now noticed the commissions part of the site is down.
First, thank you thank you for the requests. There's few things more flattering than offers of money to do art. :)
Right now though, I'm afraid I can't. In the future I hope to again, but the truth is I don't trust myself to take them on right now. I have long, long overdue commissions still owed to very patient, very kind folks. Until I finish everything for everyone, I can't in good faith accept anything new.
Thanks again for the offers, and I hope you enjoy the new stuff!

Two thousand nine and feeling fine
Posted 16 years agoHi everyone!
As my last journal entry was a year ago, I figured something new needed to go up on this front page.
What's new in the anthroworld? For my part, it looks like everyone is taking Anthrocon off this year, or heading over to Germany for Eurofurence. I'm totally jealous of the folks heading out to Europe, but for those skipping cons altogether this year I can completely understand. As we're reminded every few hours, its a rough economy to plan a vacation in.
How about you? Putting off cons for the year, or planning something even bigger?
For me, I'll just have to do what I do at the con from the comfort of my own home. And since about all I do is sit in a chair and draw, I should be in good shape.

Nerding it up with Auntie Oni
Posted 18 years agoHowdy everyone!
so, I haven't posted anything in a month; where the heck was I?
Well, the work part is boring, so I thought I'd share the somewhat art related stuff:
I spent it painting miniatures for a weekend tongue-in-cheek fantasy roleplaying campaign I've been running for some friends. Nothing too fancy, its just the old 80s boardgame "Heroquest", dolled up with a few house rules.
This weekend was the big showdown, our first out-of-the-dungeon-and-into-the-field battle.
The challenge: painting up two complete armies, a gaming board, trees, you name it, in a week and a half. At the end, lets take a look at what came of it:
Here's team evil: http://www.themasterplan.net/Heroqu.....eroquest02.jpg
And here's the good guys:
http://www.themasterplan.net/Heroqu.....uestblurry.jpg
Who, um, must be utilizing a special protection spell that blurs camera images... remind me to retake that one sometime...
And here's the two principal characters, Bob the Barbarian, and the Dark Lord of All Icky Things, Lord Zargon:
http://www.themasterplan.net/Heroqu.....eroquest01.jpg
Its a true menagre, with orcs and knights and elves and... ED-209s... how did he get in there?... and dwarves and nasty hobbitses and such and what not.
And, who is this vile creature who has an insatiable love for chewing fingers?
http://www.themasterplan.net/Heroqu.....roquestcat.jpg
So, who won? The health care industry: one of my players was laid low by a back injury, and we never got to play. So, the final showdown between good and evil that will conclude this campaign shall just have to wait until my players are hale and hearty.
Until then, I'm out of stuff to paint, so I guess I'm going to return to drawing to kill my free time. Do any of you out there play miniatures war or roleplaying games? Do share, I love this stuff!

In this one, I complain about a really old movie!
Posted 18 years agoHowdy!
Not much new to talka bout, aside from a good sixty five hour week of work and a little weary laying about back home.
But, amid all this, I somehow wound up watching "Star Trek Generations", and man alive, I've got to talk about this.
Up until now, I've always mocked the Trek films for getting bad around "insurrection." Sure, Generations wasn't so hot, but nothing like the later films...
But... no, no Generations is as bad. But that's not the point, the point is, and bear with me here:
The clockwork orange guy (named Dr. Sauron, who must have given up on brewing up another batch of rings for the dwarf lords in their halls of stone in order to buddy-up with Klingons) wants to get in the ribbon or nexus or matrix or what have you.
To do this, he blows up a planet. Picard wizzes the rescue, while Riker drives the enterprise into a tree. But, Picard has the good fortune of getting struck by the nexus, and winding up inside it, where his ultimate fantasy comes true. Turns out Picard's ultimate fantasy is to hang out in the happy ending to a Dicken's novel. (Good thing no actual people are in this Nexus, or lord would this part of the movie get pornographic)
So, after being told about fifteen times that 'time has no meaning in the nexus', Picard works out that he could just think his way back to the time and place he needs to be to stop Clock-work Orange guy and save the day. BUT, to do this, he has to go get Kirk. That's critical.
Sooo... (I'm getting to the point...) He gets Kirk, and presto, they think themselves to the exact right time and place. After all, time has no meaning in the Nexus, and all that. So, the Fellowship of the balding captains proceed to somewhat capably stop Sauron. (I think he sits on a bomb) A bridge falls on Kirk, and Kirk croaks. Fare thee well Captain, may a flight of priceline adds sing thee to thy rest...
Okay, so here's my point(s):
- Lord Sauron is still alive when the Nexus hits Picard. So... he's in the Nexus too, and accomplished his goal. Now... I know time travel doesn't make sense, but... wouldn't part of Sauron's ultimate fantasy be not having some jerk retroactively trick him into sitting on a proton torpedo sometime in the past? True, Picard blows him up before he ever got in there... but he did get in there... and like, Time has No Meaning in the Nexus, I hear. So... uh... did evil win? Or...?
- If Picard thought himself back in time, and wizzes it again, so what? He could just catch the Nexus, and try again. And if he did, would a bunch of him's start collecting in there, or...?
- Couldn't Kirk just travel back to his own time, and just beat up Sauron back when they beamed him out of the ship? Then he could like, live out his life and not die under a bridge and stuff.
- What if you can't just think your way out of the Nexus, and those dorks just imagined themselves into a dream-version of the past, and dream-killed Sauron, and the next three movies are just Picard's loony deluded visions of his long-dead friends. Grim, but it explains a *lot*.
And what about...
well, anyway, I should stop there. Watching Star Trek I mean. It just invites one to go to very nerdy places, and that's certainly not what I'm about.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go over to the DC comics forums and post a scathing review of the characterization of Batgirl in the latest Supergirl crossover, then get back to painting my Warhammer miniatures.
Cheers!

Home again, Home again
Posted 18 years agoMorning everyone, finally back home from a work-related convention, and hopefully I'll have something new for you in the next few days.
In response to last time's comments:
- Vixens? Awww, who'd ever wanna see a bunch of ole' vixens flouncing around? ... okay, so pretty much every fur I know, myself included. Actually, I need to work on drawing canines in general. Artists I know like Niko do a great job of making their vulpine muzzles really expressive, and I'd like to work on that.
- Gettings folks to read your stories That's something I can identity with. Truth is, writing and drawing is like Steak and Hostess Cupcakes. One has the potential to be rich and satisfying, the other fast and sweet and chocolately and cream filled and... well, you get the idea. A cupcake can't compare to a well cut and prepared steak, but those cupcakes are fast convenient and everywhere. Porn is like junk food for your eyes! (Luckily, the part of you it fattens loses the weight in no time at all)
Now, I know I personally am terrible at keeping up with friends stories; Chessia, who just joined FA,, Tazel, Martin, and some of my RL friends, all like to write, and I've always been just too slow to keep up. (I'll read em' all eventually guys, I promise!) But, in response to Lt Havoc's question, how do those of you who write get feedback? I imagine one way is to trade stories amongst other writers.
And... that's all I got today. Hey, if you like big breasted cow women, and you're not already reading Las Lindas, stop on by:
http://www.katbox.net/laslindas/
Its done by Chalo, and though the story moves very slowly (I think we've been at the agricultural ball for like six months now) I love the coloring style, real candy for the eyes.
Cheers, keep in touch!

Posted 18 years agoHiya everyone, just realized I've got me a mini-blog here, so I can talk back to ya'all!
First, thanks for all the kind words, glad so many folks have found me so quick!
So, what's up for the future? More mink pics, more bunnies. I was thinking about re-doing old pics from the VCL days, just to see how they'd look now.
How are the rest of you? Martin, did you get my page mail? Keep in touch everyone, be back in a day or so.
