After much consideration, Sugar High will launched on February 5th(I'm fighting the urge to just start giving ya'll everything! I'm going to be working on making a substantial backlog for it over the next week, so I'm going to be strict on only Friday Flats for commissions and I've gotta plan this around getting homework done and such. I'm hoping to keep 4-5 pages of backlog there so if I get a little busy then you won't lose a week of updates.
Speaking of updates, it will only update on Sundays for now. I'm thinking that if I don't burn out and Sugar High goes on hiatus during school, it'll go to 2 updates a week when I graduate. We'll see!

The comic is going to run on my love and tips alone, so if you are liking the comic when it launches, there's a page on the site where you can see how to support me and Sugar High. For anyone who recommends patreon or similar platforms, I am holding a goal to have the comic running for 1 year before I start anything like that. I'm also thinking of offering wallpapers and such for donations or a donation shoutout every month. These things are stuff I'll iron out by launch, which will have a post explaining what's gonna happen with people who are supporting the comic <3

So! I posted a WIP in my scraps of Devon and Raspberry Mocha and the flavor herms will now be officially the cast of Sugar High, an upcoming web only comic by me. Why? Flavor Herms just doesn't cut it as a name anymore really and Sugar High fits their theme. I'm working on the layout of the pages, which is what the WIP in scraps really is.
I'll be done with school this year and I really need to think about where I'm gonna go from there. While doing only commission work is fine, I want a project that is true passion and if you haven't noticed, I love my characters. I've played around a lot with comics but the traditional comic format and I don't get along. We'll see, its a new adventure.

I want to let all of you know that I appreciate you and that without you, I wouldn't be able to create fun work for you all to enjoy! It means a lot to me and I hope we have much more to come!

UPDATE:
School started but never fear! I've still got 2-3 days each week when I can work! Today I'll be getting one of the full colors I've got done(of which there are 4) and I'm going to offer Friday Flats every week! Other full colors will be sketched today and sent out(Yay!) and I'll start coloring them on Saturday depending on approval. Will my turn around slow down- yes, and I actually had no intention of having full colors to do while in school, so I'm going to clear out what I have and Friday Flats will be the ONLY thing available for the current future. I am not sick anymore, and classes, while long and tiring still leave me with a few days each week to work. And my car hasn't broken down this quarter yet so already doing better then Fall Quarter. I'll open slots for Friday Flats on Wednesdays and you have until Friday morning when I wake up to claim a spot. I will be in class all of Thursday but Thursday evenings I'll check FA to see if anyone has contacted me. I also have removed backgrounds from being an option. This is for time constraint reasons.

YAY! 2017 is here! I'm so happy! So in good new, woke up today feeling a lot better but it's a holiday so I'm gonna give it one more day of rest to kick the rest of the crud out. Tomorrow, I'm back on the horse! :D
My new years resolutions?
A. Post art at least once a week for the entire year. For the last couple years, there's a always a point where I'm so into school that I don't draw and it sucks. So this year, even if it's just a flat, I'll post every week.
B. Lose that 30lbs I've been needing to. I gained a lot of weight while I was in the Navy and I need to drop it off for a few reasons. The apartment complex I live in has renovated the new building and said they were upgrading the gym in it, so I'm gonna start using it 3-5 times a week when it reopens.

I'm still sick, still coughing, sneezing, running and on and off fever(small one, and it's rare). But I've gotten 1 of 4 of the commissions sketches. Gonna try for 1 or 2 more today, no promises though. I'm hoping this just becomes a week of "i wake up sick but feel better after food and getting moving".
I'm taking it easy for now though, the last thing I need is to push myself and make this worse.

My roommate brought death and despair in the form of illness into the apartment. Which my husband then decided would be a greathing to have with meant he wanted to share the gift to his only wife. I'm still in the start of it. I won't be offering flats and work will slow down from 2 completed commissions a day to... I'll get something done every day but I'm really sure how much. I'm about to take some wonderful over the counter drugs, eat, drink liquids, etc. I'll get at least 1 sketch sent out today and if any one else gets their YCH, the others and get to coloring stuff tomorrow.

So Pulsar and Nebula are my husband and I's sonas. Finally got it done and I'm so incredibly happy with them but there are something I should note some things here.
