Who would mind a request lottery? Costs like $5 to buy a 'ticket' into the lottery, you get 15 words to describe a hot image(OCs may or may not be welcome, I haven't decided), and I choose like 1-5 winners a month depending how many people buy in?
And then a vote on which one of those winners get a full color?
Throwing it out there, since coming June, I'll be taking the summer off school and I want to try some new things.

This pinup thing I have going... I'm thinking maybe I should make it permanent? Or a monthly deal, like 10 a month. I would offer it $10 off the full color price(so $30) for a nude with no progress images. The reason I would have these at a lower price if because I'm not using a lot fo time getting approval sketches and such. It's why I've been able to do them so quickly. I would allow for addons, but those prices will be standard to what I offer on full colors. No backgrounds.

Flats will be open Monday-Friday, weekends are about the full colors.

If you want a flat slot, there is no waitlist, it's first come first when I open slots. It will always start with 5 slots, and I'll do a max of 10 a week.

So only flats will be open from now on. I will be taking 5-10 a week until further notice to help with living expenses while I finish off my current full color que. They are quick to do, so they will 1. help me get back into arting every day and 2. Give me some cash to live on while i get the full colors done over time(I've got progress on half of them, so I'm getting there!).

So with school starting back up, I kinda got thrown off my groove. It happens every so often. So my current plan is to finish 2-3 commission a week at minimum. I want to at least get every thing I got sketched this coming week and 1-2 finished.
It might be a week before I get back into a good schedule with school back in swing but no fears! It will only slow me a little!

I will continue commission work on Monday! I've been really busting ass through work and such fairly non stop and I tried to have a relaxing day Thursday but it wasn't enough, I basically burned through my week off from college on commissions.

I only have one commission to work on today. For a short time last night I actually cleared my entire que. I'm so proud of myself!

I just bought plane tickets for my husband and I to visit my family.
Why is this a big deal to me? Here's a timeline
I left Georgia in Apr 2012 to go to Japan for the Navy. This has been the last time I've seen my family.

So now at the 4 year mark, I've gotten married, lived all over the place, my dad is getting remarried during my trip, my older brother got married, my lil brother is graduating. They have only ever talked to my husband over the phone a few times and I've talked a little with their ladies over Facebook but I've been so far removed from their lives for so long. I left and my younger brother was just starting high school(I've got 7 yrs on him) and he was so short and now he's apparently way taller then me! I wouldn't know, I haven't seen him.

I'm posting this because I just need to talk about it. I shouldn't have gotten the tickets, I had to use a 1/3 of my tax savings money owed on the 18th of April. But ya'll have no idea how good I feel right now.
Since I'll be taking a lot of time to work in the next couple of weeks, ya'lls support continues to brighten me and gave me this wonderful moment of knowing I can see my family again and it means the world. I owe it to ya'll. Everyone's continued and wonderful support has been wonderful and I hope we have many more years to come where I hopefully brighten ya'll lives with my work and ya'll brighten mine by giving me the chance to do things like this when it means so absolutely much to me.

I'm going to be sketching probably everything on my list today. 80% of it's single characters. I'm excited ^.^

Because this a huge recurring 'problem'

When I designated a slot to only one -sex-, it means I'm looking for a character that fits the stereotypical slot.
Example- Female only in a group setting means the character needs to have all female sex organs. I don't care about body type, they can chubby, super skinny with small breasts, but they need to have all of them.
Example- Male(not as much of a problem) only needs to be a male, with all sex organs. Again, no cares about body type.

Same goes for every single -sex-.
I completely get that there are other types of characters. But I draw those organs in for a reason. That's how I want the image to go. I hold plenty of group auctions with 'any gender' that can be jumped on by literally everyone(as long as it follows the rules such as no wings when that happens, ect).

I know this sucks, but I'm honestly perfectly okay with saying no to a specific character because of these things. I put that into the auction rules. So...

There's already been an expressed interest in me letting people commission animations. I'm making this quick journal to address that.
Do I want to do more animating of my own work? YES
I won't be animating anyone else's artwork. Ever.

Do I want to let people commission animating work by me? YES
But I need to work some things out. Right now, I'm posted finished animations as gifs, and we all know gifs are awful. I'm working towards making my animations to flash(hopefully this will help retain quality and bring the file size down). No, I won't be doing 'interactive' animations. It's not something I'm interested in at all. No, I don't want to do more then a single character animation.

Price?
I don't know yet. The Cheesecake Cat animation took 3 hours. 3 hours for a flat color, simple animation. So if you are really interested, if I ever open them up, it will be pricey. That's a fact. Maybe I'll charge hourly, maybe a flat price, I'm not sure. What I do know is that it will at least cost enough to cover a $15/hour rate.

So animation commissions are well off, as I practice and learn things about flash and such. That's a fact, so we'll see. We shall see.

I'm really happy ya'll like the animated Pumpkin Spice. It was a fun challenge to do.
