In my ever evolving efforts to get off my super slow older laptop and switch to my desktop completely, I have found myself needing to do everything on the super slow laptop! I'll still be getting work done, but expect it to slow for a week or so, as I and my husband continue to work together on my desktop. We're replacing the motherboard and ram on Friday, which are basically the last parts except the CPU we've replaced in the last 2 months. The reason for the switch? My computer is now having a hard time dealing with the art programs, freezing fairly regularly and slowing down work immensely. So in the long run, this switch is great but it means work needs to be done to make the fairly great desktop stop shutting down at random.(We're %99 sure at this point that the motherboard has probably fried or is dying slowing)

So I was busy yesterday and forgot to post the next page of A Day Off. It'll be up next week! It is done, but I want to stay on posting day schedule, not allow myself to post on Thursday/Saturday/Sunday. Fridays only! XD

So I'm relaxing today. Going to get my hair in the first year and a half, going for some cool and really bright colors with a new style to my poor flat long hair. Work when it's all done, and I might post a picture of my hair here on FA when it's done.

I will no longer take or do 'surprise' auction gifts or commissions under any circumstance even "I'm their friend on FA". Why? Because I'm done with feeling uncomfortable. Those who have commissions going on right now will get a note saying I need the other participates TOS agreement.

Now when you want to use someone else character, they must agree to the TOS and give a note or email stating specifically that the commission can use their character. This is because I reserve copyrights on the artwork and I can't do anything with artwork without those agreements, because I refuse to deal with people coming and going "this was a gift to me, I didn't agree with your TOS"
EDIT: You don't need to expressly tell the person exactly what the picture is, but if you're getting a fetish piece, let them know you are. My TOS doesn't have "commission sensitive" information, so they just fill it out. Yeah they know art is coming for them, they by who, but they don't know what ;)

If you want to use someone else's character, you need proof that you can(you are in a relationship with them, you have had recent permission) or to have them contact me. Why? Because it makes me wildly uncomfortable to draw someone's character without their permission or reasonable proof to show that you are allowed to get work of them. I would be upset if people commissioned art work of my Flavor Herms without asking me, especially since I have set canons for them. Hope you understand and feel free to ask questions

Why? Because I've been looking at it and I'm just not happy with it then when I sketched it. It could be a lot better and honestly, I don't want anyone to win it. Be cause it could be better! So I'm going to pull it down well before it ends and maybe do a fun group picture to replace it, one that really pushes my skills with environment.

The scoop- I'll post the comic, once a week as long as my backlog can take it. If the backlog runs out, I'll do it whenever I can until the Patreon goal is met, then it goes back to once a week. Patreon gets all the side goodies(sketches, inks, future pages, PSD files) whiles the packs will only be the Hi res comic.
The pack will also include 1-3 pieces of art that will be public(low res), but the pack will get hi res versions, and PSD files of those images.
That way, which ever one you decided to go to, you get something a little different and catered to that medium of support. Patreon- comic extras and hi res comic

Things have changed!
I want so bad to make comics. It's foolish how much I want to do this. So here's where I need everyone's help! I can't honestly work on comics until I hit that goal! It would mean the world to me if we all banded together and helped me bring ya'll fun and sexy erotic Flavor Herm comics! You'll also notice, this isn't on a schedule. Guys guys. I launched two packs last night and it's been AWESOME! A few people have jumped on one or both! So here's my big spiel about it all.

Every tiny purchase helps! My goal for January and February is to step back from commissions and release a small art pack like this every month or two to help pay for bills and food, ect(guys I'm poor as shit, regardless of whether I walk about it a lot), because that could finally free my time to do big projects, like maybe a full time Flavor Herm comic or a series of Flavor Herm comics!

I've added something to my TOS that I feel important enough to post here. It is osmething you can opt out of, but I wanted to address it here:
"I will occasionally ask to use a completed piece as a print. You have every right to deny this request, but if you allow it, you DO NOT gain any monetary return from the sales of prints."

This means I'm feeling like I did some awesome ass work for you, I might want to sell prints of it. You have every right to say "No thank you, I would like for you not to do that." But if you allow it, you don't get anything for it. I'm not going to pay out royalties or anything of the sort for it to you in any way.
Just letting ya'll know. Again, I'm giving everyone the right to say "you can't make this a print" But I will keep records on people who allow me to make prints, including a small contract I'll expect to be respected if you try to come back at a later date asking for money. I will however, pull it down if you feel like you no longer want it sold.
This is just a PSA. I won't be having a discussion in the comments, though I'll read what people have to say about this change.

Edit 2: I did add a secondary fact to the TOS concerning character credits and how I will place them all printed versions of commissions. I also added more clarifying I do continue to have usage rights to the artwork. This by no means I'll sell prints without your permission, but you'll notice, digital packs are a different story(this is because I will including commissions with my Flavor Herms in packs of artwork revolving around them, credits still there).

So school starts today... I've hit the point, been in college for a year now, that it's not exciting to start a new quarter. -shrugs- It's just a thing. I've got two major graphic design classes and communications course this quarter. Both the GD have the same teacher, so that'll simplify things if I'm falling behind and they are in class while the comms course is online and just relies on me signing in and getting the shit done lol.

In art business, I intend on collecting over 70 images from 2015(file count is 80 but some of the patreon content is sketch and full color versions), including a bunch of sketches and inks that never got posted and finding a place to sell a "Flavor Herms: Year 1" type deal. (I've already worked out a few places, I don't need ya'll giving me any I promise!). The pack will most likely cost between $5 and $10, and if it goes well, I'll start making cute Flavor Herm theme packs(baking, dancing, summer fun, ect) in my free time, that won't be nearly as big as this first pack, like 8-10 hires images and sketches. I won't be including any source files in these, sorry everyone if you wanted to see my process. Here's the thing- These won't be giant exclusive packs. I'll post many of them for free(lo res) and then 1-2 images and all the extra sketches will pack only.
Some people might not like this but if there's one thing I learned last year, it was that I need to supplement a bit of income when I'm too busy with school. If I can spend some free time making these packs and they sell well, then I can back off having long commission ques. Then, this time next year, I'll collect the entire set of 2016 packs and images and do an ever bigger pack for year 2! It would really honestly help me if ya'll supported this endeavor!

I've been considering making a wishlist with what type of commission I would offer per item and seeing how that goes. It would be sketched after purchase is confirmed and item is being shipped, completed upon arrival to me. What do ya'll think? Wanna help me get stuff I want?

I'm really enjoying them actually. I can do them within a day or 2 while waiting for things, it's fun to think of poses like that. We'll see them getting more complicated as time goes on and I'm excited about it ^.^
