There seems to be more depressing stuff going on in the world than usual, so...

On Tuesday, I noticed that a pair of my pants, which normally fit perfectly, were pretty loose. I'm pretty sure I've lost close to half an inch off my waist. My skinny jeans are getting baggy. It's time to hit the gym again. I'm looking up recipes, meal routines, and workouts. I'm packing my own lunch from now on. I'm lifting things! Buffmink will be buff! D:<

Power's out all over the place. No interwebs at my house, so I'll be off and on until I find a place to stay. Can't stay here; 100 degrees and no A/C makes Orbital a puddle of curdled mink. :C

Still not much on the employment horizon. I've been doing more temp stuff, but I'm really hoping it leads to something permanent. Nothing else really happening, as you can see from the lack of submissions. :C

It feels good to put pencil to paper and write out a story, even if it's just some silly smut. It feels real and solid, like you're building something one line of graphite and imagination at a time. Writers, back me up here?

Anywho, I finished writing this story I started while on vacation last week. October, growing closer by the minute, is something I always look forward to, since that means new Halloween stuff from  gspanovich, but that got me thinkin': why not do Halloween early?

To that effect, I created Camp Honey Cave and its sordid past. Yes, the name is silly, but the settlers didn't know any better back in the 18th century. But anyways, it's a camp next to a lake which has an island with a cave entrance on it. Something bad happened in that cave almost twenty years ago, and now it's come back to plague the camp and its latest crop of sexy counselors, not to mention anyone that happens to get too close.

The story that I just finished is a vignette in the larger "script" of the goings-on, and considering how much fun I had writing it, you'll be seeing more after this first one.

Just have to type it up and do a bit of editing. If anyone wants to proofread or the like, give me a shout and I'll scoot it over to you either tomorrow or Wednesday. I hope it'll make you a bunch of happy campers. >:3

Just two days 'til. :3 It's nice to have a birthday that falls during beach vacations.

God DAMN, the new ThunderCats is awesome. The setting is a great clash of medieval and futuristic, the characters are fun and interesting, and everything just feels deeper and wonderfully detailed. Everyone's multi-faceted; ok, Mumm-Ra is still all "ANCIENT SPIRITS OF EVIL!", but would you really like him any other way? Totally looking forward to more of this series.

I'm doing some revising and re-structuring on that Malleus rough draft; there'll still be witches and demonic mink, but I'm switching around the characters and plot. Anything particular anyone would like included, or any other suggestions? :3
