I've come to the realization that I like immediate gratification. With that being said, I am going to remake pretty much every fursuit part I have because they suck. I ordered high quality fur and hopefully having made things one already will help my new gear look better. The foam head can stay >.> but everything else will be my scrap gear. If my roomie looked weird at me shaving foam from a mascotish head, I can only imagine his look when I'm cutting fur and hand sewing xD

First off I never realized how wanna can be want to or want a. Well the title is a double meaning xD and it works. So if anyone even cares, which I doubt anyone really does, but this is being written cause I've just had a furry high for the last while. Hmm...that wasn't a sentence...how am I in college and fail so much at English...guess thats Iowa for ya. Where was I going with this? I am just writing constantly and not looking back or ahead. Oh speaking of which I am working on a head xD another double meaning! I'll have to remember that. Well this head is taking a lot of work and will probably look like garbage, but for this nearly broke college student it is the best route. I should be done with the foam part of the head in about 4 hours of working, though with homework and presentations that could be a week or so. Anyway,  quixoticmutt pointed out that I'll have a partial suit when I'm done with the head! I still want to remake the feet but knowing this has made me so happy! Update done...Forgive my poor English skills. If you want to know how bad I am at English...I cheated off of a foreign exchange student who could barely speak English on vocab quizes in high school. :/ Well he and I worked together while the teacher read a book, though he did most of the work... Can I get put in jail for that? ._. k i'm stopping... sorry for anyone's waste of life for reading this.

So tomorrow is dorm move in date. With the water and all back on and most things back to normal around here, the move in date is still as scheduled. I have already one fur on my list to meet at Iowa State,  LoboSabio, and I hope there will be at least another fur around here to meet. I'll be wearing my wolf getup a good deal around campus for that sole purpose.

I bought my first commission from  quixoticmutt. It all started when he and I were chatting about me going to califur and meeting him and dreadfox and some others that I have been chattin with on MSN. So hopefully you all will see my true self soon ;p.

Also Califur. I have never seen another fur IRL, Iowa being so full of "normal" people and no furs, let alone have I gone to a con, so I think its about time. I started "thinking" about going to Califur but am now way more serious. I have been looking at round trip plane tickets and found about $317 roundtrip, which is just insane!

So here is my first update and well I guess it isn't an update if I have never posted something like this before, but meh... I hope everything works out! xDDDDDD

So I went to the Iowa State Fair with a few of my friends today and had a blast! I decided to debut my tail and wear my paws and wolf hat. Wearing around paws and my wolf hat around town were good enough but once the tail is added, xDDDDDD!!!!! So here I am at the fair and within the first 5 minutes i had atleast 5 comments from people. then I went to watch a concert band and jazz band. After that I continued on my way through the fair. In Iowa anything beyond wearing a polo and jeans is considered weird so obviously I got a lot of comments. By the end of the day I had 10 people ask to take a picture with me, many of those one of my friends would walk up to some people and say you wanna picture with the wolf man? The others were just people asking me. 4 of the people told me this is going on facebook right away and 1 person said she was entering this in a photo contest, the theme being wanna be and the caption wanna be wolf, though she does not know I am a wolf not a wanna be >:c. I also noted atleast 7 people taking pictures of me from where they were. The comments were priceless, ranging from I LOVE YOUR TAIL to hey honey look at the wolf. All in all I had a great time and I think I know what I will be wearing more around town ;p

So as of a month ago til now I have just been in an incredibly furry mood. Any chance I get I'm going out in my wolf hat and paws. Then I decided I need a tail so I'm in the process of making it. I've also never been to a con, but I'm looking into going to some or many. Let's see, my tail is hopefully going to be debuted at the Iowa State Fair on Saturday. Hmm...what else...I'm just ramblin but my good mood lately is saying to keep ramblin. I have never seen a fur in real life Dx. Iowa seems to be void of furries. Well there are some but compared to everyone else on here I feel lonely. You know going to the mall with paws and a hat on just doesn't seem right without another person who gets why it is fun to run around in costume. Maybe college will bring some furries in. I move in in 6 days o.e. Also after the tail is done i am going to make my paws more durable and work on an actual fursuit head instead of just wearing a hat shaped like a wolf head. Erm...I don't think anyone ever reads my journals so all this is for nothing but to get my feelings out. Anyway...Orio out...

Just bought a tablet! xD Trying to do some digital stuff, but I'm just going to experiment.
Also, I think I'm going to get back into recording some jazzy stuff, maybe a gig or two.

So much ice! Took me 20 minutes just to get up my driveway. Guess that's Iowa for you. ^_^
