Posted 16 years agoSo I just moved to the Seattle area about 2 weeks ago. It's been a bit hectic and things are finally starting to calm down. Basically for the past 3 years, I've been living with my mom, who is vehemently anti-furry. So I had to be very careful about what i did, such as drawing and internet usage, due to her being crazy.
Soooooooo..... I'm going to start drawing again, and all sorts of whatnot. What I would like, is to do stuff for free, to anyone who responds to this. Basically, I want to get back into drawing, so ask whatever you want of me, and you may get it. I will do /something/ for anyone who responds, be it just a sketch, an inking, a digital piece, or fully colored. I want to try to get past my super meticulous way of drawing, and be able to have fun and do it in a faster manner, and I figure, why not just do bunches of stuff, in order to get my paw loosened!
I will draw anything besides for cub art, and whatever else i dont want to. Now keep in mind, i'm not the best artist ever, but I will do what i can. :3

Huh, why did you bring that whipped cream? Erk! I did NOT say you could spray it up my nose... tho it does tingle pleasantly. *sneezes* See, thats what happens when you spray whipped cream up a wolves nose, he sneezes skittles, and now they're all in your fur. Serves you right.

Posted 16 years agoOMG! FCN was the best con I have attended EVER! It was the most relaxing, enjoyable, and just plain fun con that I have attended.
There were a few reasons personally that this was such a great con. This was the first con I attended, where attaining con badges wasn't the goal of the con. I don't know what happened, but at MFF-08 I just realized that I had enough badges... Not in any sort of a bad way, but just that I didn't need more for the sake of more. If I get any more badges... thats great, but it's not going to be my focus anymore. And at this con, it wasn't, which enabled me to actually just sit down, and hang out with people, without me feeling like I was wasting time. And it turned the con from a place I go to show off and be crazy, to a place I can go to hang out with friends, and make new ones. Which is so much more fulfilling than simply having a box full of badges in my closet.
Now I guess I'll give my memories of the con. These are in no way complete, just the biggest things that pop into my head. Other Disclaimer: The things i say are in no way sequential due to time, or relevance, or importance, merely the order in which they pop! ^^
OMG! I got to go into fursuit twice!!! I was in the artists alley feeling all sad for myself because I had been sitting there for like 2 or 3 hours, sketching, and hadn't gotten more than a passing glance by people. Not that I expected much more, considering I was sitting next to Rukis. *I really need to learn how to insert links to other peoples pages at some point* She is this simply amazing artist. I mean... her art is the essence of what got me into furry. It is the type of art where you look at and just cant imagine how mere human hands can produce it. And so I was sitting next to her, watching her flawlessly produce amazing piece after piece as I work on a crudely formed wolf standing on a cruder block. *expect upload in the near future* So after like 2 hours I decide I'll toss out a sign saying I'll do massages for 1$ per min, which i think is an OK price, considering the thuroughness of them. But anyway, a couple min later Noblewolf *once again, need to learn to link* walks by, and the wolf I'm drawing actually catches his eye, and he inquires as to purchasing it, and whatnot. After a few min we reach an agreement as to me doing a fully digitally colored pic when i get home of it. Yay, my first commission! And one that I know the customer will already like =D Granted with a few minor modifications, but its cool none the less. I let him know that I was the one who had given him a massage in suit. *inserts handily available picture uploaded by Noble http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2230844/ * I offer to give him another one at no charge and bring him around behind the table, and proceed to do his shoulders for a couple min. Now, I am honestly not boasting when I say this, but merely saying what I've heard from many many many people, but I can give a massage to rival, if not exceed most professional ones. Due large in part to my double jointed fingers/thumbs, and also nearly 16 years of practice. So anyway, he greatly enjoys it and asks if I'm available to do a full body massage. Since I had basically not had any business yet, I pack up my stuff and head upstairs with him. I can honestly say that what followed was by all means, the most thorough and complete massage I have ever given. I literally massaged every muscle I knew to be a holder of stress in the least amount. I think the massage must have been in excess of 45 min or an hour, or at least thats what it seemed like to me. *inserts a paragraph break, but only a single enter, not a double enter, which would signify a seperate topic, but merely that he's been *wtf what song is this*switches music** rambling long enough without break that it would be unseemly to continue in such a fashion*
After the massage we cuddled for a while. Did I mention that he was cute? Yea, very. Anyway, he offers me the chance to partake in the joys of fursuiting with one of his suits called Salt and Pepper. A very nice husky suit whose only downside being a fairly narrow field of view. After suiting up and making sure I wasnt going to fall flat on my face with the first step we head downstairs to the first floor. After walking around the zoo and halls, we head over to the lobby. I thought it would be funny, so I start to act drunk. Being wobbly on my feet, stumbling, and making exagerated motions n whatnot. I had done this one time previously at AC07, and it was fun, so I figured why not. So I stumble around a min or so and then head over to the bar where I saw 2 the Ranting Griffin. He spots me coming and reaches out to support me, right as his arms go around me, I relax my entire body, sliding down to the ground as he tries to support me. I come to rest at a very weird angle, which would hurt a non super bendy wolf, but I was fine with. 2 and Seven help me up and I hug them and begin weaving my way back out of the bar. I really wish someone had video of this... Anyway so as I'm walking away, Seven and 2 and Giza come over to me and say I've had enough, and ask if I can remember what floor I'm on and that they'll help me get there. I give a wobble of the head, sort of indecisive, all the while wobbling between their grips. Then someone says they're just bringing me to con ops to pop the suit(take the head off) so i stumble out of their grips and walk towards the outside with them following. Once outside, with 2 helping me stand, he asks if I'm just acting. I realize they are genuinely worried, so I stand strait and nod, they ask again, so i back up and do a handstand for a few seconds and jump down. They are like 'yea, no way he's drunk after that' and so I follow them back in, and procede to act drunk again. within another min I think my acting unconvinced them and 2 comes back over to make sure I'm really okay, I wobble my head and stumble into him, reaching around and giving his bum a large grope. He seriously jumped like a foot. It was amazing. Right after that Noble decided it was a good time to go back up to the room. So we head back up and when we get back up I take off the head and just start laughing hard because of how much everyone was worried, and how well I did it so they were genuinely thinking I was drunk. I mean, they were REALLY concerned. Which I appreciate, but i simply cannot ignore the ironic nature of someone who having never had an intoxicating substance producing such a convincing act.
I did go back down to the lobby afterwards, and talked with 2. He gave me props for the acting, and said he wanted to make sure I wasnt acting because he's done the same thing, and con ops can be a pain with stuff like that.
So I met Rukis originally at the New Years party for the local area furs this past January, and had been following her art here. So when I see her at FCN I think we were mutually excited to see each other. Me because she is an awesome person and a great artist, and her because I give good massages. (so maybe it was more than just my massages, I hope *winks*) We chatted for a while and of course I gave her a massage, and was also introduced to her friend/roommate Sif to whom I also gave massages. I really enjoy giving massages to people, to be able to alleviate stresses and whatnot, giving them comfort. We chatted and saw each other throughout Friday. Saturday morning (if you can call 1pm morning) I head down to artist alley and see her again and she informs me that they want to take me up on my offer to pose for them. Basically, I've spent the past several months working out regularly, and getting in the best shape of my life. So I'm trying to be productive with my new body, and wanted to offer my services to assist however I could with helping improve their art. So most of the rest of Saturday seems a blur, not that I dont remember what I did, just most of the stuff I dont remember which day I did it on, not that it entirely matters anyway. So later that evening I went with them to their hotel and let them pose me however they wanted for modeling purposes. It was actually quite fun, sitting perfectly still for exteded periods of time. The only thing that really sucked was moving afterwards. Parts of me would go numb, and after they were finished when i moved it really hurt, but i didnt mind much. It was mostly funny to me. I am really glad to have been able to hang out with them, they are both really fun and I am looking forward to seeing them at whichever con we both happen to end up gracing.
Okay... its now 1:30 am... o.o typing is fun. I guess I will go into shorthand now in order to get sleep.
Sponsors lounge = win. Food = pretty good. Drink = very nice. People = totally awesome.
Fursuiting = win. Dancing in fursuit = more win. Dancing with Damaron and getting to grope him in suit = won.
Making friends at a con, vs just acquaintences = a whole new experience.
Forgetting to charge my camera battery overnight = not so much win.
Having a genuine friend who I live near, and work with, attend the con with me is superbly great for talking to about the con and everything that happened there. Even if they are only a 'friend of furry' lol.
Having muscles = I can have a reason to ask people to poke and grab various parts of my body... no, not there... thats not a muscle.
Arf... Tired. I'll probably do a followup one to this post. When I'm not so tired. There are just so many stories from this con that deserve telling. But the whole drunk thing is really just so funny to me XD

Posted 16 years agoHey, I was just curious if anyone knows of any pics taken of me from any of the furry cons I've attended. If it helps any, I'm usually covered in about 300 conbadges on a trench coat, so I stand out fairly well :)

Sick puppy
Posted 17 years agoSo I'm writing this because I don't know what else to really do. Not in the I'm at the end of my ropes sort of way. More like everything else is just unappealing right now. I'm not sick too often, but I am right now, which isnt fun. I am feeling really warm, and even have a fan on me. This being the middle of winter and my house is usually set for like 62 degrees. Eck, being sick isnt very much fun. But enough about that, I'm going to write stuff.
I'm currently working at Wal-mart in the Photo Center, which is turning out to be a fairly fun job. I get along with people, and have a crazy smile, so it works.
I made friends with one of my coworkers, and am slowly turning them into a furry. *grins deviously* After hanging out for only like 2 months, they already went to MFF, and had a fantastic time. He even talked about wanting to get a fursuit. Yet he still claims he's not a furry, just a 'friend of furry'. Oh well, I'll let him keep his self delusions.
MFF!!!! OMG this was probably one of the better cons I have attended. Even with me being there for only Friday and Saturday. It was really fun talking with all the people there, and seeing everyone I've not seen in ages. But something rather startling happened this con, which probably everyone who knows me never thought would. For me, right now, I have enough badges. =D I dunno why, but I no longer feel the need to get as many as possible. I have over 300 total now, and if i get any more, that'll be great, and I'll still wear my trench coat around at cons, but probably not the entire time like I have been.
The next thing I want to focus on is getting a fursuit. It's going to be a fun one for sure. But here's the biggie. I don't know if I want to get a suit of 'Orion' or not. I mean, I am Orion, fully and truly. And for being in a suit, I want to be able to put on an act, so its not me i guess. lol, I dont even know what I mean. But here's where I'd love to get everyone who reads this journals opinion.
*grins* What is the sexiest species in your opinion? When I get my suit, I want it to turn heads. I want people to look at me and have their brain activity shift a little lower. XD Yea... If I weren't quite as tired or loopy right now, I'd probably never post this, but I am.
Please respond with your favorite species, or the species which would turn your head the most. Or if you think I should just be Orion, post that too! Thanks for reading ^^

9x12 Wacom Tablet
Posted 18 years agoSo... I'm sitting here in eager anticipation of getting my Wacom Tablet tomorrow. This is something that I've been wanting for many years, and now I am finally getting it! Expect to see a definate surge in the ammount of drawings I produce, and hopefully the quality of them as well. So instead of plain ol' normal crap, I'll be drawing crap++, whee.
The offer for free art still stands, I've not really had anyone take me up on it. Yay for high demand Orion art :( I guess this bodes very ill for ever asking for commissions, which I was never planning on, so I guess it works out perfectly. =o.O=

The offer for free art still stands, I've not really had anyone take me up on it. Yay for high demand Orion art :( I guess this bodes very ill for ever asking for commissions, which I was never planning on, so I guess it works out perfectly. =o.O=
