If anyone would like to exchange cookies also: bring a container or plate of a dozen cookies to exchange. Same as below, your name will be put in and you get to pick out a container of cookies to take home with you.

How does the idea of a gift exchange sound for everyone? It is something different and to celebrate the season. We would have a $5.00 value on the gift. It can be new or used but in good condition. We will put everyones name in a container that brings a gift and they get to pick out one in exchange.

Also We would like to do a canned good drive at all future bowling meets for those that may need some help. We have a place we can store these items. It can be non perishables IE;
mac n cheese,beans,peanut butter,jelly,crackers, ramen noodles, macaroni, spaghetti and or sauce. tomatoe sauce just about any food item except fresh foods. even canned meat such as tuna,beef,pork chili. We will start with this meet if any one want to bring any.
If anyone needs a little help with groceries give us the name and they must be a member of the local furmeets. All donations accepted cash and or food. If it needs to be frozen, We can do that also. We have a very large chest freezer that I can put things into a seperate are for it.

Does anyone one have access to industrial fans or have box fans that Furlaxation can borrow in September. I can pick up as it gets closer to the date? or you can bring with you?
Furlaxation is Sept 6-8,2013.

What: Third Annual ArtPrize Furmeet

Where: Grand Rapids, Michigan
Meet in front of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum

When: Saturday, September 21st (meet up at 10 am) and Sunday, September 22nd (time TBD).

Why: Gotta continue the trend of making ArtPrize more awesome; it's practically our civic duty.

What's new this year?: I'm glad you asked!

- It's longer! First off, this is now officially a two-day furmeet. Can't make it on Saturday? Show up on Sunday. Need to duck out early on Sunday? Get your fill on Saturday, then hang out as long as you want on Sunday. Want to suit on Saturday and leave it at home on Sunday? That's perfectly fine too. By expanding to a two-day meet, this will hopefully allow more people to enjoy ArtPrize however they wish.

- Multiple paths to explore! Since it was a bit difficult keeping 20 people all together last year and I anticipate just as high (if not a higher) turnout this time, there will be at least 2 different groups that will be exploring ArtPrize, tentatively split between suiters and nonsuiters. Suiters will take a path that runs through the more open places (Rosa Parks Circle, the BOB, etc.) while the nonsuiters can travel to the smaller, off-the-beaten-path venues that may not be suit-friendly (small galleries, restaurants, Frederik Meijer Gardens, etc.). Each group can take mid-afternoon food at their leisure, and a large group dinner for everyone after the meet will happen as well.

-Our faces on TV! Wood TV 8, one of the local stations here in GR, always broadcasts from the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM) during ArtPrize. I'm currently planning on having us there among the crowd for their noon broadcast on Saturday (or Sunday if the weather's bad) so we can give an interesting shot for the news and be able to get into the GRAM before the line gets too long and the building gets too hot for suiters.

Anything else?: As always, be sure to check out ArtPrize_Furs on FA. Invite lots of people; I've reserved a few rooms at the Holiday Inn on Pearl St. (across from both the Public and Ford Museums) for anyone needing crash space.

Hi I have 2 friends (male) who are looking for room space for both Furlaxation and Mff. Mff they had room but the others backed out. They have money for the space.

Also they are in need of ride to furlaxation from Pinconning area as of right now or hope to be moving soon. THey may end up not needing a ride as they are trying to get a vehicle.

Another month, another meet ^^

When: Satuday, March 30th starting at 9PM

Where: Spectrum Lanes, 5656 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming MI [About 10 minutes south of downtown Grand Rapids]

How: $20 covers food, drinks, bowling shoes and 2 hours of bowling. Once you pay, grab a badge. If you already have a badge from the Grand Rapids FurBowl last month, bring it with you! We will be identifying recycled badges with a sticker. Fursuiting is allowed and encouraged! Will be doing a group photo near the end of the night, keep an eye out.

After bowling, we head to Steak n Shake just down the road. Fursuiting is also allowed there but keep in mind people are eating food around you!

**NOTE ABOUT POTENTIAL ALLEY CHANGE**
A few of us ventured out to Westgate bowling lanes, apparently they can't host us until May. The lanes are quite a bit larger as well, so it may be an option down the road to grow into. Until then, we're going to still be at Spectrum. Sorry if any confusion was caused!

7days and we will be at FWA. Meeting up with friends and making new ones. Next con is FCN in April. Come up and say hi. My partial will not be done for FWA but is now supposed to be done for FCN. Then my fullsuit is supposed to be done in June in time for Anthrocon. So yessssss.

Mff hotel reservations are open. Suites will open in march. .
