Hey, new watchers!
Posted 11 years agoI'm truly flattered and appreciative of all the new watchers and followers! Gotta say, I wish I had worked up the gumption to try out this character and be more active in the fandom sooner, cause y'all sure know how to make a pooch feel welcome! You guys are the greatest and look forward to BWOOMPHing more for ya in the future.
Got maself a twitter account
Posted 11 years agoBIGBRUTHABAX is where you can find me. Lemme know about yours. I dun wanna be throwing follows around willy-nilly or I'll be up all night. :p
I'm hoping this will help me be a bit more social. I haven't felt much like talking to anyone lately, and I want to break out of that.

A Heads-Up
Posted 11 years agoThough technically I'm already brushin' the ceiling in most situations, so I won't be takin' that literally.
Uh so anyway
If you're wondering where I've been or why the lull in activity, I've been in the middle of a rather stressful move this past month or so. The trip itself wasn't tough; managed to find a good 2bed and bath apt for cheap in the same town. It was all rather sudden, however, and though I won't go into details, meeting with family again to get packed and set up has forced this big pooch to face some conflicting feelings I'm still sorta working through.
Naturally, haven't been in much mood for too much RP or whathaveya, though I've tried to comment on work I find lovely at a steady clip, and obv commisions are out for a little while yet(tho I have soooo many ideas and at least one outstanding debt to see to.) Apologies if I've seemed distant or never around.
Ahm all settled in now, mostly thanks to my better half and some of the most giving, wonderful people I've ever known, and our internet's back, so let the good times roll. Like dese abs, sucka.

To all artists who think your work sucks or isn't good enuff
Posted 11 years agoThanks anyway for always being great sports and choosing to share your work regardless. I never had a lot of patience for people who lean a little heavily on the self-deprecating side, jokingly or not, but I understand that for creative types, it's like a constant instant war between "Ehhhh, no still not really there yet", "AAAAAGH HOW DO I DO THIS", and "Welp, I still think this sorta sucks, but it may as well go up, anyway" before going onto the next thing. It's rough, and feels shitty, I know it does, and is all too necessary cause you're always on that path to do better and strive for greater.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, even if you feel your work isn't good enough, please always, always remember that there's someone out there, usually many people, who appreciate the work you do and the work that goes into it, and you have this poodle's gratitude for having the gumption and good faith to share your "mistakes" alongside your masterpieces. You're braver than you know.

Got skype?
Posted 11 years agoWith classes starting up and some renovations to do around the house, I haven't had much time to comment or be otherwise amicable around here, so I figured I'd make it a lil easier to keep in touch. My skype's Parodius312 if ya wanna chat.
Just gotta say
Posted 11 years agoA hearty thanks to everyone for all the faves, watches and comments and for generally making a big mutt feel so welcome. Means more than you'll ever know. More poodle oglins, some new characters, and just all around fun to come, so stick around.
Popping the journal cherry.
Posted 12 years agoHi all, I go by Parodius. I'm mostly really new to this fandom thing, so please be gentle. ^ ^; Well, technically, I've had this page since last year, but school, work and life have taken up so much of my time, I've basically been relegated to lurker status.
I want to be a more active poster, but I'm not really sure what I wanna DO yet. Can't draw for diddly, but there are some artists here and there I'd love to commission, and I've got ideas. In any case, bear with me till then. Hoping to have a lot of fun and guess that's all there is to say for now.
