Cheap commission opportunity!
Posted 5 years agoHi guys,
I've had a family crisis come up and needed to take time off of work today. I need to find $90AUD. I've already had one client be amazing and commission a $45 commission. But I still need $50 (PayPal fees suck and I have bills coming out....)
I'm doing a half body Shaded piece for $50AUD, normally $55+
Or
2 half body sketches with flats, normally $60+!!
Help a Fellow Artist Out
Posted 6 years agoHi guys!
It's come to my attention a friend of mine is in a bit of a bad situation (bit is an understatement) and needs some help!
She's got some journals up explaining it all but she has a GoFundMe up and also has bases available for purchase!
Find the link and details here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9322015/
Any help is always appreciated, every cent helps when it comes to getting out of a bad situation.
If you help her out, let me know! I may offer some kind of thank you doodles, especially as she really does need to get out of the situation she is in and I am unable to personally help more then this journal.
Thank you guys,
PastelKoala

Important update? Commission sale?
Posted 7 years agoHi guys,
I know I've been quiet lately with art and stuff. I went away on a little holiday and have been back at work for literally one week and fallen sick.
But I'm back now and trying to get on top of stuff again.
Now the serious-ish stuff that relates to the journal title!
I am having surgery next year; My partner and I have chosen to have private health cover since earlier this year to cover bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve) as I have struggled to lose weight since I was a teenager due to medical reasons and also due to those medical reasons the weight just doesn't come off / stay off. This will be a major life changing surgery for me as it should mean that we will finally be able to have a baby and I will overall hopefully be more well off health wise!
Although private health cover should cover most of the costs there will still be some unforeseen costs as well as the issue of comfort at home during the healing / recovery process.
Our couch is very old and uncomfortable (somewhat falling apart on the inside), so we are trying to save up to afford a new couch suite before the surgery so that I am more comfortable. I also need to cover bills/rent while I am off of work. Which could be between 3 - 8 weeks! Unfortunately saving is easier said then done when you're an adult.
So that's why I am hopefully looking at raising $3,000 AUD ($2220 USD)! I haven't figured out a commission sale as of yet but I will get to that over the next few days!
I figured writing a journal for this was a good idea, as well as explaining as to why I'm trying to raise such a large amount of money. If on some miracle I can raise more then the $3,000, I will be beyond ecstatic as it means I won't have to stress over money while I'm supposed to be healing / focusing on myself after the surgery.
TL:DR:
I'm having a life changing surgery next year and need to buy a new couch / put money aside for bills/rent while I'm off work, which could be between 3 - 8 weeks.
Hoping to raise around $3,000 AUD ($2220 USD).
I'll be working on the commission sale prices over the next few days.
Thank you for reading, and let me know if you have any suggests to what I can do to help raise this money!
