Goal is 10 pics to try and raise some extra money since moving and getting all the house hold stuff is expensive....

Minor crisis - Moving
Posted a year agoJust a quick update:
I was let go by my job (for dumb reasons) and since my apartment was tied to my employment so now I'm unemployed AND losing my apartment. I have a place to move into and thanks to the kindness of others I was able to raise some funds to help with everything. I am ok and I'm not going to be homeless, just stressed and in a bit of a rush...
What this means to you:
Art work will be slowed down, I have to pack everything up and move a few states over so I won't be able to produce art for a few weeks or work on commissions. When I get the chance I will get everything set up again and get back to work. Thank you all for your patience and stay tuned

I'm stilly standing
Posted 3 years agoLife kind of beat me up for a few months there....but I'm still here!
Got back into SecondLife and have made some really good friends already! I've missed being able to socialize online and just roleplay and have fun! Been running around a Cyberpunk sim called New Frontiers and really enjoying myself.
Made Manager at work (finally) and get to run my own store (it's a self-storage place so it's just me by myself, but it's my store). Lots of responsibility but very little oversight so I basically just handle my own stuff and don't have people watching over my shoulder very often.
I haven't been drawing much in the past six months or so but I'm getting back into sketching, finally trying to sketch on my tablet using SAI painter (Beo's recommendation). After trying and failing to use the tablet because of the weird angle of it being on the desk it finally occurred to me that I could pick the thing up and set it in my lap like when I draw on paper. I've had this thing over a year and I just not realized that!!!
Playing Dewdrop Valley on my switch as a fun little relaxing game and it's actually kind of fun. I've never had any interest in playing farming sims before but this is kind of cool. I might try getting back into Monster hunter (rise) on my switch. Looking for some games to play with friends that might not be super overwhelming.

Dipping into SecondLife again (maybe)
Posted 4 years agoSo my anti-social self has finally hit that point where I need to socialize at least a little bit with people I can be comfortable with. This more or less means just chilling with like-minded people and not feeling like I have to conform to expectations or stand out among the group. SecondLife used to be my go-to for this because I could kind of be who ever I wanted, I could hang out in a place and listen to others and only interact as much as I wanted to. Having tried VR chat I was reminded that I dislike my voice and tend to be prone to motion-sickness through VR. Though the motion-sickness may be a result of inexperience or low frame rates.
The long and short of it is I'm trying to get back into SecondLife and trying to find some fun places to hang out and I am trying to get a nice mouse avatar like my character. A feminine white mouse with red hair and pink eyes. I've forgotten almost everything about the program and I can't readily find an avatar like the one I'm searching for. If anyone knows of a good cute mouse avatar, can help me modify another avatar, assist me in making an avatar or is capable of making a custom (commission?) avatar please let me know.

Trying again [Possible free art]
Posted 4 years agoHey everyone, or who ever hasn't removed me from their watch list yet. I've been away for awhile now. Hit a kind of life speed-bump/hurdle that got in the way. I'm doing better now, found myself doing hobbies and stuff that I used to enjoy and I'm getting back into the swing of things once again. So I've been doodling a little here and there but haven't really put much time into anything and I'd like to maybe change that. I've been sitting staring at my sketch-book for days now and coming up with nothing! I'm at that odd place where I want to draw but can't think of anything to draw...
So here's where YOU come in! Want some free (sketch) art? Want to see one of my characters in a specific scene? Here's your chance! You can make a post featuring an art request of a specific character (visual reference required) and a pose (again with a reference). I will be picking out what looks interesting and fun from the list and checking off and on over the next few days. I can't promise which suggestions or how many of them I will be doing! These are going to be sketches just sort of a way to get back into the swing of drawing again.
Rules:
One request per person!
All requests require a character reference (unless it's one of my characters) AND a pose with reference (you may use other poses people have posted)
You may post up to three requests
Nudity is allowed but no hardcore NSFW stuff. A naked skunk in a classic pose is fine but please don't suggest a heavy BDSM scene

Emerging from some dark cave...
Posted 5 years agoOh hey...so I'm not dead. Yikes I haven't posted anything in a year! Some life stuff has been happening, and then more life stuff.... I won't go into any of that here. So yeah, I'm back!
Art stuff!
I have my scanner up and running again (finally!) so I can scan and post art again. I haven't really been drawing much during my time away and I'm a bit rusty, i've noticed some of my anatomy details have faded. I do plan to improve from where I was, do some more detail work and try to change up poses and such a bit more. I'm living with Beo who is an amazing artist so he helps inspire and encourage me as well as showing me a few things here and there (I didn't even know they made .03 lead mechanical pencils). I would like to try doing a comic once again, I think I've improved enough and have a decent selection of characters that I might be able to do a sort of slice-of-life in a fantasy (D&D) world. I also may try my hand at writing short stories with a cover image.
Life stuff...
So I ended up in Kansas City Missouri now...very different from living in Ft Lauderdale Florida! Like I said before, I'm living with Beo now and he's a big bundle of muscles, fun and encouragement. I'm trying to get used to actually having cold weather after living in Florida for so long.

So to start myself drawing and posting more, I would like to open myself up for suggestions of old pictures that my followers would like to see redrawn. Anything from the past that you might want to see redrawn in a bit more of an updated style for fun or to see how much I've improved over the time span. This will be the end of entries for this set of free art drawings. If you did not comment and leave a link to a reference then you can't be selected at random. I need to add a cut off time so I can draw and have an idea what the final total is going to be.
Well to celebrate my return, and to warm back up after not having drawn properly for far far too long...free art! I'm going to be doing some free art for folks, mostly just sketches as a kind of warm up and as a gift for folks who put up with me disappearing for so long!
How do I get free art?

What will this look like?
These will be sketch pieces with some shading depending on how I'm feeling and how things are going. If you really don't like your pic, send me a note and I'll remove it.
How will you decide who to draw?
Victims, I mean volunteers will be picked by random number generator but I will try to get as many people as possible. I'm not expecting too many folks to notice this but you never know. You can increase your chances! If someone comments their info as a reply to YOUR comment and says they were directed here by you then both of your names get entered twice!
You don't have to be watching me, but it would be appreciated if you did, or if you already are then thank you! This should be a fun way to get back into the swing of things and offer art to some folks

So offering free art on FA apparently gets a lot of attention! This is a lot more requests then I expected! I am going to pretty much spend Sunday drawing so I'll see how many I get done and see who gets drawn doing what.

I'm using a combination of different theme lists so everything will be randomized so while you might not get "heavy bondage" you might get "Sun" as a theme.
If your character is not chosen this time, please don't be angry! Considering how popular this is, I might start offering free art raffles once a month. Details and such will be posted in the future on if that happen, how to enter and how the winners will be picked.

Return of the Fox II: electric boogaloo
Posted 7 years agoAfter a very very long time, I finally have my own room and a proper art desk set up! It feels so nice to have a dedicated space to draw once again! If you don't know what that feels like, it is super frustrating to not have a dedicated space! After not drawing more then sketches for quite some time, I'm a bit rusty but I'm coming back! Because of living situations I just recently got my own room but I'm still setting it up. Desk needs a few things, need to get a decent copy of Photoshop, and set up my scanner so I can start posting stuff again. Some things have changed at work, I'm working more hours which is good. Keep an eye out for more art work in the near future, possible free art and raffles as well (free art is a nice way to warm back up). Thank you everyone who has put up with my disappearance and have continued to +watch me for all this time! My PC is down and in heavy need of upgrading but I have a decent laptop for now. I kind of want to start playing SecondLife again, and I've been looking at Monster Hunter World

Ok well I've had a bit of a rough time as of late. My depression kicked up (again), was stressing out at work and stressing out even worse about drawing. Right now it's hard to get anything done because of space and drive but I'm trying to get back into it! I'm keeping a sketch book with me and trying to do something when an idea or mood hits me just to get back into it! I apologize (again) for taking so long to do any artwork. This was just a quick update, I'm not dead in a ditch somewhere.

Cursed d20 commissions now open 10 slots
Posted 9 years agoMadam Mamba is back with a new bag of tricks! Well three bags full of d20's...and a few new themes. These will be themed commissions with randomized rolls for results! The themes are BDSM, Transformation and Insertion. Examples of these could be rope bondage, gender shifting, and large toys. You get to pick which category your results will come from but the actual result will be a surprise (unless you dislike surprises and wish to know the results ahead of time). Yes you may choose to purchase multiple dice from the same category such as two rolls for BDSM perhaps getting rope bondage and spanking. Any single pic with five or more dice may be upgraded to full color for free.

Art troubles and delays
Posted 9 years agoI would like to start by apologizing to everyone. I am very sorry, this is taking way too long and way too many issues have been coming up. Since moving to a new apartment, I've managed to misplay several items that I kind of need and can't find. I had to give up my art desk so now I have to kind of take over a space to draw. For me having a dedicated little space that was just for drawing was comforting. I could just sit down, doodle out an idea and didn't have to move stuff around. There is a large dining room table, but I have to move everything back and forth and it's not my space...if that makes any sense. I thought I had everything I needed to set up my scanner so I could start posting some (way over due) artwork...but I'm missing another cable and I don't have a copy of photoshop (again). Tomorrow I will be checking the storage unit to see if the cable is in there, somewhere. I might end up doing more work out of sketch books then in the past until I can get a better set up. Again I am super sorry, I know this is taking forever and I am really sorry! All the art work is finished, I just can't scan or upload anything! This is super frustrating and I will try and find a solution ASAP, please stay with me! I will be offering something extra to the folks who commissioned me as a way of apologizing as well.
Tl;Dr: No art space, no scanner...can't post art right now. I'm super super sorry!

So while I hunt for another job I thought I would open up for commissions and hope I can drum up some funds for various expenses like gas, food and such until I can find a job.

Posted 9 years agoSo far both my boyfriend's laptop and mine as well as my desktop have picked up viruses/adware! I have adblocker and antivirus stuff on my computer and I didn't download anything but boom there it is! I'm pretty sure I got it from FA because it pops up the moment I go to this site but not on google. However it also came up on a few other sites but I didn't try going to those until after FA.

Displacement and disturbances
Posted 9 years agoI didn't get a chance post this before hand...but I moved. I'm now in Fort Lauderdale Florida. The move didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped but as far as I can tell nothing exploded or got lost along the way. I am not sure when I'll have my scanner set up...I don't even have an art desk right now so I'm not sure if I'll be doing any art for awhile (maybe I can get a sketch book). I was expecting to be in this apartment with my boyfriend's friend but life situations for him have caused a problem with that. So here I am unemployed, no resume or work history ready (I can't remember work dates) and looking at having to find another apartment in about 3-4 months in an area we might not be able to afford....
The idea of taking commissions to try and earn a little money to help out is pretty much out of the question until I can get at least my scanner set up and find a spot to sit and draw for a bit. Honestly the situation is not critical just yet but I'm not feeling very optimistic right now. At least my rat didn't die on the trip...

I would like to apologize to everyone for disappearing suddenly and for so long. Life, living conditions and various other things kind of got in the way of my art-ing. I currently don't have a working copy of Photoshop, a semi-average scanner (I don't think my printer is working) and the AC unit blowing across my art desk making it uncomfortably cold to work sometimes. I need to hop back into drawing, I need to remember why I started drawing and enjoy it once again.

Posted 10 years agoAfter some set backs, some life and some personal issues...I'm back! Kind of...yay?
Thanks to some very dear friends I have replaced the laptop that was not so slowly dying on me, kept a roof over my head and am currently working on a fitness plan (I've lost about 20lbs so far). I will be drawing and uploading again soon so expect a bit of an art flood as the dam bursts open and the art flows like Spice. I will be trying to wrap up the commissions I still owe (and super big thank you to all the folks who have been so patient with me!).
I want to do a few art projects in the future...

News and Life update
Posted 10 years agoHey everyone, sorry I've been silent for little while now. I was having some artist block and then someone stole my phone right out of my pocket. Well that made it kind of hard to draw, and it's kind of been a pain to try and get a replacement phone. No I didn't have insurance on the phone. So now I'm waiting for my replacement to get here, my laptop is dying (it's pretty old now) and I can't upgrade it because everything is integrated. I am going to be trying to force myself to get into some art, I owe a lot of people art and I would like to try and open for commissions to try and maybe buy a new laptop before this one just dies on me.
Again, I'm sorry I disappeared and went dark...life kind of sucker punched me. In other news, I'm doing a diet and lost 15lbs, I'm reading the Dresden files and LOVING IT and the new apartment is nicer then the old one. Look for more art in the near-ish future.

Moved and life
Posted 10 years agoAs some of you may have known, I just moved! Still a stack of boxes all over the apartment but most of the furniture is about where it needs to be so. Me and my boyfriend are setting up, still unpacking and sorting things out. I should be posting art pretty soon but I still have to set up my art desk and get used to the new spot.
I believe I'm caught up with all my commissions...if I still owe you art please note me! I plan to get more art work done on a regular schedule (plan to do at least one pic a day). I might try doing a live stream eventually if people might actually watch it but I work in real media not digital so it would be a camera.

Delays and progress and more delays
Posted 10 years agoFirst of all I want to apologize for the delays in my artwork and commissions.
I have been having some severe issues with my laptop as of late, it's really old and I hate to say I probably will have to try and replace it within the year. Work has been crazy, between being asked to stay late or come in to cover the fact the person making the schedule doesn't seem to know how to do their job. twice we've had no one scheduled for the last hour the store is open! My boyfriend and I are finally moving out of our crappy studio apartment. The landlord is a jerk and has NEVER fixed any of the issues that came up for the whole year we've been living here. The new place is a little more expensive but it's closer to my work and closer to various stores and points of interest. My scanner/printer decided it barely wants to work anymore...takes 5+ minutes to scan a single image right now and it won't print at all. I have been drawing but I haven't been able to scan or post a whole lot as of late.
I will be posting more artwork in the next few days and catching up, I should be able to finish up the commissions I owe fairly soon and I thank you all for your patience. In the future I may be setting a due date for artwork so delays like this don't happen. I wish I could do more commissions because it's going to be really tight money wise for moving to the new apartment and some commission money would really help with that.

Pick which doll or dolls you wish to purchase (you may pick up to three at a time and combine them) and make a deal with Madam Mamba for the low fee of $15 and the magic of the doll will effect your character of choice (please post a reference if you have one). Pics will be fully shaded pencil featuring your character dealing with the results of the curse on the doll. An example might be... Eve picks a doll and it just happens to be cursed with a spell that changes her into a dragon so the pic will show her in her new form.

I have been having some problems with my car as of late, electric hook-up on the left headlight melted, have a six inch crack in the radiator so that needs to be fixed and Christmas is coming up so I need to get money for gifts, as well as save up and try to replace this laptop...it's pretty old now.
