Dino Girls in the Human World
Posted a day agoFor all of you who like the HOT DINO GIRLS scifi erotica series!
Recently a fan DM'ed me with a question (reposted here with his permission):
Hello,
I was just curious. Have any of the Dino girls with Mike ever been to Mike’s earth? I was just wondering what their impression of it was.
- - -
This was my reply:
I imagine they do go to Mike's Earth at one point. Likely not all at the same time but they probably do pop over to see what it's like or to visit Mike's surviving family or old friends.
Thing is that is pretty much the whole premise of the HOT DRAGON GIRLS series I did with Jonathan Smoot's characters, where big saurian girls reside on the 'normal' Earth as exchange students. So I was never compelled to do a similar story in HOT DINO GIRLS since it would be too similar and I imagine the girls would have similar experiences. Plus the two series technically take place in the same universe so they needed to be distinct from each other.
The dino girls would all like the human world to varying degrees; to them it would be like us visiting Star Trek or the Jetson future. Fascinating and fun, but also exhausting and overwhelming for them if they take it in too big of chunks. Plus there are dark sides to it they may run afoul of.
Niska would be curious, but would definitely get exhausted by the human world the quickest and would be the most glad to arrive back home. But she'd go to meet Mike's family and such.
Lorika would be endlessly fascinated by human tech, which she would treat like magic. However she would also be very aware more than the others of the downsides of human societies and get very nervous if she were left on her own there for any length of time. i can see her constantly being nervous about being mugged in a human city, even if she was perfectly safe and despite her being over seven feet tall and as strong as any bodybuilder.
Anaika would quickly become addicted to human-style shopping, and would want to taste and experience every form of human cuisine she'd come across. She'd always want to talk with (and maybe flirt a little) with human cooks and chefs and such and get such a thrill doing it.
Kadlai would probably be the most overwhelmed. She'd do it once to make everyone happy but would be the happiest to get back home.
Symhee of course spent years in the human world for medical school and would be right at home there.
Pirollo and Jirollo might go to the human Earth for Tuscan's sake at some point and would be as fascinated with human stuff like Lorika, but would be less intimidated and much more obsessed with buying stuff they could trade with back home.
Hope that answers your question! In fact, this might be good for a fun little journal entry. Would you mind if I post your question and the answer for it?

He responded:
Yes, that answers it perfectly. Thank you for going into such detail. I wasn’t sure if I should ask as I’d hate to close off any potential ideas you may want to explore, even if you never wrote it down and it was purely for yourself.
I do enjoy the world you created with them, there’s still a lot of interesting lore/unknown history/dino culture when compared to our world (and Mike’s for that matter).
Thank you again for answering. That was awesome of you.

Some Project Ideas And Updates
Posted 2 weeks agoSo I had some thoughts about possible projects coming up.
I am still doing art/writing commissions and ghost writing. In fact, if you're wondering why work on my own books has slowed down, it's because I've been picking up work in those areas. I still have my own book projects coming along, such as HOT GOBLIN GIRLS 7 and HOT RAPTOR GIRLS and ZINNIA 2. But when you're born poor (okay, more like lower working class--but poor enough) it's tough trying to continually get traction financially, so I have to spend my productive time on what pays.
Anyway, I have been thinking about some art projects I can work on between the larger book stuff, things I can do in small stages but eventually build into bigger projects I can sell. I've been thinking of joining SubscribeStar (and/or Fanbox or OnlyFans) to give myself more than just DeviantArt Subscriptions to showcase some of this stuff off and still earn a profit.
ADULT COLORING PAGES
Idea number one was Coloring Pages for Adults, and I mean full-on sexy characters in exotic locales doing sexy things; some clothed, some not, which I don't actually see a lot of. Deviant Art allows for Premium Downloads, so I could sell them through there individually for a price, for those who are interested, to either color digitally or to print out and color via natural media. And when I have enough I could collect them together and sell books of them on Etsy, at least in theory.
I would do originals and repurpose some older ink drawings , but with redone line art and backgrounds with others coloring it in mind. Usually when I ink I leave huge swaths of a picture blank because I know I'll add in details as I color, but I'd have to change that for coloring pages.
I was thinking of starting off with a series tentatively titled Hot Dino Girls Beach Party, which would follow the theme I was doing for my HOT DINO GIRLS ebook covers, and probably use a lot of the same characters.
PHONE WALLPAPERS
Again, something I can sell in sets via Premium Downloads and/or make available to my Deviant Subscribers, and is also sellable on Etsy eventually. I'd customize a cute/sexy characters (though keep them PG-13 given the nature of the product) and have them against various backgrounds and wearing various costumes. And again, I may repurpose older characters and artwork for that.
On a related note, I have abandoned doing Adoptables. I made a total of 13 Adoptables, and sold 4. Not an awful record, but also not sustainable, given the work involved in each. But some of those will likely also be the basis for my first phone wallpaper sets, like the goblin faeries or victorian bunny ladies I did a while back.
POSTERS & PRINTS
Technically I can already do this through DeviantArt, but I never really made a push for it. I can try that too, especially for tings like old book covers and such.

Anyway, this is me just spitballing ideas. They'll probably only bring in a trickle of money, but they'll at least be fun to try. Let me know what you guys think, and if you'd be interested in any of this! = )

A Reader's thoughts on the CREATURA novel
Posted a month agoRecently a reader contacted me about several points in my novel CREATURA, particularly those about the character of Ulex and the rleigion he professed to follow. I thought it raised several interesting points, so here's the messages associated with it, reproduces with HitchhikerDolphin's permission. If anyone would like to give their own thoughts about the book or the topic in general, feel free to comment.
Some spoilers for CREATURA, though!
- - -
original post by HitchhikerDolphin (@hitchhikerdolphin):
Mr. Paul Lucas, I read your novel a long time ago.
I am extremely bothered by this...Church of The Six Billion Martyrs that played a role later on near the end.
I felt disgusted as I saw Ulex Baker, a big strong Ursoid who had his whole life ahead of him, was reduced to a meak and mild religious sheep/chump who couldn't do a damn thing for himself - not to mention he was lovesick as fuck over Rakshanna.
Whoever Ulex was working for, these conspirators were not stupid enough to go to all that trouble to find the last humans, just so they could drop to their stomachs and lurch all over the floor. They had some serious plans for them and I can only think of one thing, control. It's not enough for the conspirators to control the religion, they want to control God, the 'creators'.
I know for a fact that this religion that the Homo Creatura have been following for 300 years or so, didn't fall out of the sky and was written with lightning from the heavens, no, this religion was created by a mortal Creatura or Creaturas who eats, drinks, sleeps, shits, fucks, bleeds, and dies like everyone else.
When Dr. Leonine saw Ulex and his followers shoot themselves, he was all like, "What the fuck is this? I don't know anything about this. I never asked to be worshipped as a god, and neither did the last of my people."
Control the religion, control the world. These unknown and powerful friends of Ulex's have the entire world in their back pockets by controlling the one thing people don't want to lose, their faith. Ulex believed this religion enriched his life and made him feel invincible. But instead, all it did was poison his mind and made him out of fucking butter. Ulex deserved so much better.
So, I want to know who runs this religion, (Cardinal, Bishop, Pope?) who these friends of Ulex's are, and will they be stopped? And I hope this ridiculous Church also gets abolished, because all it has done is create a body count.
Will you write a future project about a Creatura hero who fights to uncover the conspirators and put an end to this stupid mumbo-jumbo the Creatura call a religion? I would buy and read it if you did.
Good day to you,
- Dolphin

Sorry for taking a bit long to get back to you.
But yeah, Ulex and the Church of the Six Billion Martyrs was among other things meant as a criticism on real life religious organizations and their cultish followers. The same is true about them today as 25 years ago when I first wrote the book. Ulex is NOT a unique case limited to his fictional world. If you look around the world today you'll see a lot like him, especially (and unfortunately) at large in US politics at all levels.
I'm sorry if the character upset you, but in a way I'm also glad if you were disgusted by Ulex. He is supposed to be ultimately unlikable. I was hoping he and his motivations were understandable, but that's very different from making him sympathetic, Just because you (hopefully) understood where he was coming from did not mean you were supposed to support anything that he did. Now granted back then my writing skills were even more imperfect than they are now, and I might not have pulled off everything I hoped to with him, but I think he served the story well enough as an antagonist.
The critters behind the Church of the Six Billion Martyrs are the same kind of people behind a lot of the toxic evangelicals and other fanatical/violent cults in the real world; people with wealth and means who hide behind anonymity and influence and supposed legitimacy. In the book, I like to think I gave a hint that with the world reduced to so many fewer people and fewer resources, their reach would be much more limited as well and they would eventually be stymied or deposed. But just like in the real world, that would be a long, ongoing process and there was never meant to be an easy solution for Ulex's conspiracy.
I unfortunately always intended CREATURA to be a lone self-contained story. I never really had any follow-ups planned for it. I had something to say with the book and I said it. But I do like to think that the Creatura (and very eventually the survivors in the mountain) built a better world than we have from the ruins of the old one.
I actually think this is an interesting subject that other people might want to weigh in on. Would you mind if I posted your message and my response as a journal entry here and elsewhere? I can leave your username off if you'd rather remain anonymous.

Yes, you can post the message as a journal entry. And you can include my name.
By the way, I'm not upset or offended by Ulex, it's just that... I hate it when such gullible people are easily manipulated and that all that grief Shanna and her friends suffered from, was caused by a guy who was all bark and no bite. And if you ask me, Frostbite demonstrated himself to be a much more effective leader than Ulex was. That wolf practically pushed his employer into a corner with his stubby tail between his legs.
Just like Shanna didn't forgive Ulex, In Star Wars, I don't forgive Darth Vader, even after he saved Luke from Emperor Palpatine. If Anakin had gotten away with it, he would have gone on to destroy dozens of planets and murder billions of innocent people just for the crime of standing in the way of Anakin's unbridled rage. One act of goodness doesn't absolve Anakin of his unforgivable crimes.
I guess sometimes I get a bit too involved with a story.

Digital Tablet Kaput
Posted 3 months agoIf you've noticed my pace of posting new art has slowed lately, it's because my digital tablet died. I dug out an older and considerably more scuff one to use for now, but it may be a few weeks before I can get the newer one replaced. Until then I don't know how much I'll be posting art. Just FYI!
Potential Future Rule 34 Pinups 2025!
Posted 4 months agoA while ago I asked for suggestions for Rule 34 pin-ups I could do in my spare time. I got quite a few suggestions, and even did a bunch, but got nowhere near to finishing the list. Some because I just couldn't get around to them, some because I couldn't think of a good or interesting piece to do featuring them, and some because I soured on their creators (like Butch Hartman.)
But I would like to keep this going. Here are leftovers from the last list, plus a few I added on that I'd like to see myself. Please feel free to suggest others you may think I haven't gotten to yet. The only two real rules is the character must be of legal age in their original source material, and for characters of small independent creators I'd prefer their personal permission before I jump in their creative pool, so to speak. But for characters from sources that have reached a mass market, it's fair game.
Plus I'm looking for suggestions only; just because a character is proposed means I am under no obligation to do them. If you suggest a viable char I'll add them to the list!
-- Anastasia (the redeemable step sister from Disney's Cinderella)
-- Freya from FF9
-- Ako from Onimusha 3
-- Mipha from Breath of the Wild
-- Maytel from Galaxy Express 999
-- Jana of the Jungle (star of a cheesy 70's cartoon)
-- Angel from Rock 'N Rule
-- M'Ress from 70s cartoon Star Trek

Are These Artworks "Mature?" DeviantArt Sure Thinks So
Posted 6 months agoI recently uploaded some picture of bunny ladies in victorian dresses:
https://www.deviantart.com/paul-luc.....nut-1181753640
https://www.deviantart.com/paul-luc.....tin-1182273213
I got DMs from DA moderators that these needed to be labeled "mature content" and not doing so was a Content Violation. Mind you there is NO NUDITY, NO IMPLIED NUDITY, and NOTHING IN THE PICTURE THAT VIOLATES DA'S RULES. Yet when I contacted moderators about this, I got this reply:
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out. It appears that the context of the deviation, including the tags, indicating that the intent of the image was to serve an audience looking for content depicting sexual themes and for that reason it requires a mature tag. We hope this information has been useful.
Never mind how tame the actual artwork is, or that the sauciest tag included was 'sexy,' or that I put up a very similar picture just a few days before that had the exact same tags, but was NOT required to be tagged as "Mature":
https://www.deviantart.com/paul-luc.....ite-1181027823
I'll abide by the ruling, but I am just surprised at how arbitrary it was. Especially since any quick look through new artwork on the site at any hour of the day shows a plethora of characters showing off all sorts of lewd body parts and nudity that does apparently need to get tagged, but women wearing full-length gowns do?

Especially since any quick look through new artwork on the site at any hour of the day shows a plethora of characters showing off all sorts of lewd body parts and nudity that does apparently need to get tagged, but women wearing full-length gowns do?
Watch Emma: A Victorian Romance!
Posted 7 months agoAvailable on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQR.....AlexandraDiana
Also on Crunchyroll, but is premium content there.
I had some medical problems these past few weeks ( a cold and some trouble with my right eye) so I took some time off and watched some anime I had been meaning to check out. Among them was one I'd heard about for years (it premiered back in 2005) as being high-quality but kept pushing it back because it's a slice of life historical romance. Not my usual cup of tea, so to speak, being a die hard scifi/fantasy nerd. But I'm really glad I stepped outside my comfort zone this time.
The anime was EMMA: A VICTORIAN ROMANCE. Set in 1895 London, a doofy heir of a wealthy business family, Will, falls hard for a working class maid, Emma. They begin a romance, but because everyone is so very prim and proper and emotionally constipated, shenanigans soon ensue as Will's family objects to him being with a commoner and tries to sabotage things. A great deal of melodrama and emotions unfold as the two struggle against the odds and their own doubts to be together.
As stated before, historical dramas and slice of life romances are not something I usually indulge in, but EMMA: A VICTORIAN ROMANCE had such outstanding characters, story, and production values I was sucked right in. I watched several episodes several times (also unusual for me) and downloaded the OST for both seasons as soon as I finished the finale. It's that good.
If you've ever liked productions like Downton Abbey, Upstairs Downstairs, or read Jane Austen stuff, this will be for you. I personally especially loved the stuff with all the maids and servants gossiping and interacting (mostly in the second half of the story.) I could have watched another whole season of just the Molder household going through its daily routines, lol.
But yes, watch EMMA: A VICTORIAN ROMANCE if you can. It's one of the true hidden gems of anime.

Watch Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl
Posted 8 months agoHey, you! Yes you! Watch PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE I DON'T WANT TO BE A MAGICAL GIRL!
It's an indie animation animatic pilot that's been blowing up on youtube the last several days. It's a high-quality, smartly written, and hilarious! Give it some love because I personally would love to see a full series of this!

FLOW won Best Animated Feature Film
Posted 8 months agoFLOW won Best Animated Feature Film at the Oscars!
Outstanding! I thought for sure The Wild Robot would win--and nothing wrong if it did, it's also a top tier film--but it's great to see an underdog work pull off a well-deserved win. FLOW was made with open-source Blender software, and is a parable of a group of animals trying to survive a flood in a post-apocalypse world on a derelict boat. I was completely mesmerized by the film's visuals and its story while watching it. It was probably the best all-around viewing experience I've had in the past year.
Congrats to the film's animation team, and Latvia, where the film hails from!

Economic Blackout Feb. 28th 2025
Posted 8 months agoTo protest the many recent loathsome activities of billionaires and their toadies, especially in the US, a general economic boycott has been organized for Friday, February 28th.
It's of course voluntary and participation is easy: Just don't purchase anything today. If a purchase is necessary--like say gas in order for you to get to work--try to limit the transaction to a locally-owned business and use cash to deny big banks their fees.
It's a small gesture but if done en masse it can send a big message. I'm sure this will only be the first of more such protests to come.

Artists Still On Xitter, Leave ASAP!
Posted 8 months agoIf you are an artist and still on Xitter, GET OFF IT NOW!
Muskrat and his goon squad have added a "recreate this with Grok" (Xitter's crap AI) button on all images on the site, including original artwork, in clear violation of copyright. They are also mislabeling real artwork as being made with AI.
Artists posting work on the site are being nakedly ripped off without permission or compensation, even more than they were before. Even without all the hateful RW politics I can't see how any creative can view that site anymore as anything other than outrightly hostile to you and your work.

Reminder: I'm on BLUE SKY & MASTODON!
Posted 8 months agoI was an early adopter of Blue Sky--joined back in 2023--and I haven't had a single regret, unlike with some OTHER social media hellscapes that I won't mention *coughxitterfacebookcough*. There's NO algorithms as far as I can see, everything is open source and done via interactions with other actual people, and toxic troublemakers are actually blocked or booted. It's nice and growing pretty fast, with about 32 millons users so far.
Mastodon is similar, but less well known, likely because it's more federated and was slower to adopt a pseudo-Twitter interface everyone was used to. It's still very active depending on the server you join (mastodon.social is the most popular) with about 9 million total users.
Plus best of all, there are tons of creators to follow on both platforms--artists, writers, musicians, etc. Follow me and others on both platforms!

Finally Quit Xitter
Posted 11 months agoDeactivated my account with Elon's toxic bot farm after some delay, mostly to make sure various clients and followers saw the various posts I made to follow me on different sites.
It is too bad, as Twitter was a decent site for a good many years. I joined in 2013, but didn't start really using it until 2017, and it turned out to be quite valuable in advertising books and my art for little cost. Then the Patron Saint of Enshittification bought it out and it went into a long, slow death spiral of escalating bigotry, RW bullshit, and worshipping algorithms. I thought I could hang on and just use it for book/art promotion, but engagement on most of my posts dropped 90% or more, and most of that seemed to be bots.
There were still a few humans who followed and engaged, so thanks for that, fellow organics. But it finally became too much.
For social media, you guys can still find me on BLUE SKY and MASTODON!

If people have any other decent social media sites they can recommend, especially maybe non-US ones, let me know. I might be interested!

I would like to get a lot more followers and follow a lot more interesting people (especially from this site) there. It's probably the best social media site at the moment, and I'd like to see it prosper and use it a lot more.
I'll still be on the hellscape bot wasteland Xitter, but I plan on using that mostly just to advertise books. I'm also on Mastodon Social ( https://mastodon.social/@plucas1 ) and Mastodon.art ( https://mastodon.art/@plucas ) but truthfully I haven't really gotten into using those as much yet.

Happy New Moon! Literally!
Posted a year agoAs of late Spetmeber 29, less than 24 hours ago, a small asteroid called 2024 PT5 entered into a tenuous outer orbit around Earth, becoming a second natural moon for our planet. It will only orbit for about two months however before its flung off again. I'm sure such an event has happened countless times in Earth's past, but its fairly rare on a human timespan, occuring only a handful of times per century. Anyway, more details here:

Suddenly... Cara!!!
Posted a year agoI only just became aware of this new artist-friendly social media app/website and made a profile in the last two days, which you can find here:
https://cara.app/paullucas/all
And I only became aware of it because there was a HUGE wave of artists migrating to it from Instagram over the last week. Apparently the main reason was Instagram's very heavy handed new policy of insisting that every image posted to its plaform is going to be scraped for its AI algorithm, whether the artist approves or not. Apparently there is a nominal opt-out option, but it's buggy, deliberately convoluted, and not available in all countries--including the US. I abandoned Instagram late last year, so this didn't affect me personally--though I'm sure they'll happily still use any of my images they might still have in their database from me--but I can100% understand the Instagram artists community's outrage and desire to find something better.
Enter Cara, which was created by an artist to be a more ethical alternative to Instagram, and functions like it. It's still in a developmental stage, and was taken by surprise by the HUGE surge of new users in the last few weeks, which was around 500,000 the last I saw. So it is buggy, and they're still haveing trouble with funding and scaling, but I'm hoping they can get through that and it eventually becomes an industry staple. By all means join if you want (and follow me there as well, of course) but if you can try and give them a donation when you do to help them along if you can afford it, even if it is only a few dollars.

Current Project List
Posted a year agoI really should let people know once in a while what projects I'm currently working on, especially as far as wrting, since those can usually take months or more to complete.
So, not including any current commissions, of which there are also a few:
-- HOT ROBOT GIRLS: A new stand alone scifi erotica book, The story involves a lone survivor of a devastating attack on a future Mars surviving with the help of a pair of robots. about 10K words or about 30% finished.
-- HOT RAPTOR GIRLS: An erotica sequel set in the HOT DINO GIRLS universe, focusing on Tuscan and the two Raptor Girl merchants Jirollo and Pirollo. Will reprint the two stories featuring them from Hot Dino Girls 5 & 6, as well as two new short stories, one of which will be novella-length. The big story is two-thirds finished.
-- HOT GOBLIN GIRLS: THE SIEGE OF STONEFLASK KEEP: The Seventh book in the HOT GOBLIN GIRLS fantasy erotic series, and will likely wrap up a bunch of storylines began in earlier books. The story involves the group visiting the Stoneflask Keep brewery to confront the father of Hemlock's child, only to ahve it attacked by an old foe. The first draft is about half finished.
-- ZINNIA SASSAFRASS AND THE BATTLE OF BEDLAM BRIDGE (+ ZINNIA AFTER DARK: BEDLAM): The sequel which will involve anoter siege, this time of a whole city, with Zinnia and a handful of refugees barricading themselves from two different armies on a bridge that houses a bunch of brothels and taverns, ala the old rl London Bridge. The After Dark version will be the erotica version of the mainstream story. Still in the planning/outline stage.
-- CREATURA and THE SHATTERED SKY Paperback Editions. These are long overdue, and I hope to have them out by Fall.
-- ART COMMISSIONS: For the first time in ages I only have one art commission at the moment, involving sexy gryphon girls. So if anyone is interested in one, let me know, I'm wide open for these atm.
There are of course a huge list of other projects I want to get to down the road, but they're just notions and vague plans at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to update this list as things go along.

Marmalade Is Missing Cartoon
Posted a year agoGiven the, let's say, cultural interests me and my followers on here share, I thought many of you would be interested in a great little independent animated short I found on youtube, featuring a clueless cat and a magical burlesque show. It's very well done with good humor, smooth animation, and great character design. Definitely one for fans of curves and callipygian connoisseurs!

Update-O-Rama!
Posted 2 years agoThings have settled down since my bit of a crisis in November. Damage was done, especially to my wallet, but things have mostly recovered.
I still cannot access my Facebook accounts, and doubt i ever will now. It's not a great loss, but it's still very annoying that the accounts and the money were stolen from me, and both Facebook/Meta and Paypal didn't do jack shit about it because they're unregulated and their customer 'service' is a bunch of self-recursive algorithms and chatbots. When I was actually able to talk to a person, like at my bank, progress was made and I got some money back, but good luck trying to do that with Meta or Paypal.
Speaking of Paypal, I can use it again. However, if you hire me for writing or art commissions, and you have an alternative means of payment like Western Union or Amazon Pay or Zelle or things like that, let me know and if I don't already have it I'll make arrangements. ANY viable alternative to Paypal, who screwed me over, is preferable. However, if Paypal (and its mobile subsidiary Venmo) is all you have, that's fine too. I'll grit my teeth and use it.
COMMISSIONS
I am raising prices a bit on my commissions. This is not me being greedy or trying to bilk anyone, its just the price of everything else keeps going up and I have to raise my own prices to keep making a living. It won't be a huge leap, but I'm not sure exactly how much yet. There are several of you who've negotiated for commissions right before New Years, so for you I'll keep the prices for those particular commission at the old levels.
BOOK WRITING
I am now openly offering my services as a professional ghost writer for full-length novels and such. I have 58 novels under my belt so far ( a quick listing: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Paul-.....or/B007Q0NO7S? ) with more on the way. I have been doing writing and book commissions privately for a while. I am very confident that I know what I'm doing as far as prose, plot, character, and so on. Fees will be negotiated on a per job basis, but be aware this is not cheap--full-length novels take months to do at the very least. We're talking low four figures for even a relatively short book of about 25K words. But if you do have those kinds of resources, and you always had an idea you'd like to see fully come to life, let me know. I'll put together a professional and compelling book-length story for you. Most subject matter, including erotic and adult material, is welcome.
ADOPTABLES
I'm going to try my hand at adoptables. Not that I expect to make tons of money but I have a hankering to do creative character designs, and I figure that's a good way to indulge in it with some monetary gain to help motivate me. I used to do something similar when I did physical media erotic art for auction way back when. I'll probably sell a few, not sell a bunch of others, and scratch that creative itch. I'll start off by selling a few on Deviant Art, a few on FurAffinity, maybe a few on toyhouse, just to see what might work best for me. If anyone had afvice for this sort of thing let me know. Thanks!

My Facebook, and Email were hacked!
Posted 2 years agoSo friday i discovered that someone had hacked into my new-ish business facebook page, Paul Lucas Writing And Art, and accessed the ad account there. They set up a fradulent ad campaign to the tune of a $299/day limit over the past week and drained all the money I had in the attached paypal account. I since blocked facebook's access to my paypal and I contacted Meta customer service and they said they would look into it.
Unfortunately, I logged into the account this morning, saw that a new credit card was attached to it. I was immediately kicked out of my account and was locked out despite everything I tried. Worse yet, my email attached to it was apparently hacked too, because every communication I had with Meta was missing and unrecoverable. I spent most of the afternoon changing passwords everywhere. I can't get to their customer help without logging on, and trying both phone and email have turned up nothing so far.
I'd just accept the loss, but those facebook pages are still up and being used by the hackers, and I don't know what's going on with them. I've exhausted everything I cna think of to do at this point. If anyone has any suggestions, I'll listen
UPDATE
Talked to an expert in computer and cyber security I know. The good news is that my computer and phone are probably not compromised, but the bad news is that my hotmail account probably is, and the money I lost is probably gone for good.
It's too bad, I was using that hotmail account for 20 years, and it's plastered all over the place, here and elsewhere online. I changed the password for it, and it seems to be working okay, but better not take any chances. It's probably fine for casual conversations and I have a bunch of people who only know to get in contact with me through there. I'll contact Live.com by phone to see if there's anything to be done.
But I've always had alternate email accounts just for this sort of thing, and from now on I'll be using my gmail account for most correspondence from now on. My new primary email:
plucas1000[at]gmail.com
Thanks for everyone who responded or may respond yet. It's nice to have some sympathetic ears when this sort of thing happens. = ) FA has always beena mostly friendlya nd supportive community, so it's nice to see that hasn't changed.

Inkbunny, Inkblot, And Hentai Foundry
Posted 2 years agoI've been trying to organize things for myself the past few weeks and found out I still have accounts on all three of these websites. I stopped using them for various reasons (Inkbunny because it became too synonymous with cub art for a while; Inkblot because the submission process was too clunky; and Hentai Foundry because... I can't remember why. It was over 10 years ago >_<)
Obviously, people are still using the sites if they're still active. Question is, would they be worth reactivating the accounts and submitting to again? Is anyone here still active on them and have the issues I mentioned with them have gotten better? I'm thinking of posting at least a page or two of submissions to each so I maintain a minimal presence and get redirects to my more active sites if they stumble across me there. If anyone has any thoughts or insights, let me know. Thanks!
