Posted 4 years agoAs I near Age 60, I recall furry feelings in my teens, but back then there was no furry community to share them with. It wasn't until I found a way to go online in 1998 I discovered the furry community. Sadly, by then I was already nearly "aged-out" of it in my late 30's. I did find some friends both online in irl though and things were good--for awhile...
Then work and health issues became major aspects of my life and furry had to be set aside more-and-more Now I am just an observer of the furry art (and in some cases, admirer. As my life and lifestyle are are in a gradual, sure, and inevitable descent , I've ceased my online activities on forums like Tapestries and f-list. In real life, my circle of friends just includes myself and the people I work for and work with until my health problems inevitably catch up to me.....
For what it's worth, furry was the integral part of my social life for the past 20 years, but now I put it to an end with fond memeories that I can still remember... I'll leave these images of the dragon and my other few simply-drawn characters as artifacts to this site. I'll still check in to look at the new art sometimes though, but for now, this chapter of my social life is pretty-much closed. Thank you all!
Byzantyn Bloodlighting is a dragon fursona, created around 1998. All the so-called artwork portraying him shown here is the property and creation of his creator, PBFurry (an alias to protect his real-name.). The dragon usually appears in-character on Tapestries MUCK.
Byzantyn (and all other characters featured in his personal gallery uploads) , including some signed with a pseudonyms ("pbfurry", etc) are art and fursona concepts created by the creator of Byzantyn since 1999 who keeps his real name anonymous. Some dates also reflect the last time the artwork was modified--again, by the creator of the original artwork.
