Yes, that's right! Today is my birthday! I'm turning 24 years old, woohoo!

Yes that's right! After nearly 1.5 months I FINALLY have a new laptop! I look forward to chatting with you guys on skype again

So, last night I noticed that my laptop was making weird clicking noise and I saw that there was a small amount of smoke coming out from the hinge where the screen connects to the base. I shut it off and went to bed, hoping that it would be alright when I woke up this morning. I turned it on, and immediately it was making the clicking sound but a lot louder! I'm not gonna use it anymore out of fear that I won't be able to transfer any files when I do get a new laptop, hopefully for Christmas!

With that being said, I still have my phone that I can use to reply to messages but that's about it

Ok, so, to start things off: I was in a long term relationship for almost a year that ended back at the end of June, and I took it's ending pretty hard. Yes, we had our problems, and yes I didn't really see us together long term, but that still doesn't change the fact that he ended it in a 20 minute phone call conversation during my lunch break. BUT I DIGRESS.

I just recently started trying to get back into dating. I met a really nice guy, we met up for a moonlit picnic on the beach and cuddled while stargazing. It was really sweet, and I thought the guy was cute. He stopped texting me three days later when he found out I was a bottom. A week or so later, I met another guy. He was a powerlifter and had a very dominate personality, and was very into me too. We tried to meet up twice, and both times he texted me hours after our planned meeting times saying something came up at work. I stopped contacting him. Last week, I started texting a new guy, really sweet, has done the same work I do in the past and is very much still involved in it. We have all the same interests, and he's super handsome. I text him tonight saying "Hey, i just got out of work early, and I have nothing to do, and I'm feeling hungry." He says, "I think I'm gonna get some sushi by myself." I say "Oh i LOVE sushi, too!" 20 minutes pass with no response, so i say "I guess i'm just gonna have leftover wings or dinner, then" to which he replied "That sounds good."

Holy shit. Is it me? Am i coming on too strong? I mean, I thought i was doing fine. Shit, men are the fucking worst.

Yesterday, we took our 15 year old cat to the vet to have him checked out. For the past several weeks, he has been eating less and less until he flat out stopped eating. He has also been throwing up nearly every night. The vet told us that there was nothing they could do for us, and that the only way to know whats wrong with Luna is to put him through surgery that he would not survive.

We made the decision as a family last night to have him put down, and the appointment is on Friday. I'm typing this out now because I don't think I could do it on Friday.

I want to share the story of how we found him. In December of 1999 (or 2000, I don't really remember for sure) my family drove to our local rescue shelter, looking to adopt a cat. They sat us down in the little play room that they had, and brought us out a whole bunch of different cats, some big some small, long and short hair. They seemed to like us, but none of them really stood out to US. We then asked to see the kittens. As they were bringing them out, two of them caught our eyes. Two Tuxedo kittens, a brother and sister, were brought over to us. The brother immediately walked over to us, and was playing and sitting in our laps and cuddling with us. They always say, cat adoption is a two way street, and the cat also must pick you. That very same day, we took our Luna home, and he was always as sweet and loving as the day we adopted him. I would walk around the house with him in my arms, and he would only purr and press up against me.

I love this cat, and knowing that he won't be here the greet us at the door, or come into my room at night, breaks my heart. But knowing that he won't be suffering anymore makes me feel at least a little better.

Yeah, thats right! February 18th is my birthday, i'm turning 23 years old! It feels... absolutely no different than before!

I want to get back into writing again, but the problem is i don't really have any good ideas to write about. I was kind of hoping you guys could help by maybe giving me some prompts?

So, i found out my cat is dying today. He has kidney stones, enlarged lymph nodes in his lower intestines, and a heart murmur. The vets are doing a culture of his urine to see if the stones are genetic or if they are caused by an infection. They said he might die even before the test results come back. If the stones are genetic, they can't really do anything about them, and he'll die. If they are the result of an infection, we'll put him on steroids, which will fix the stones and the lymph node problem, but it'll cause a layer of fat to build up around the heart, which will kill him because of his heart murmur. So basically, my cat is going to be dead by the end of the year no matter what, but it could be in a couple of days, or several months.

So, I Graduated college today! There was a nice long ceremony, had some really nice speakers and a very pleasant atmosphere. I took a bunch of pictures, because whats the point if you can't remember it. All in all, today was a really good day.

It's taken me 4, almost 5, years to get an associates degree
I've got no plans for the future, I have no idea what i'm doing with my life
I work a dead-end job, and I still live with my parents
i'm just all around garbage.
